1991 Honda CRX build

  • Base model 1991 Honda crx. Sat for 17 years. Brought back to life from ground up. Bought the shell for $700 even though it was missing a few major components. I had to replace the fuel system and redo all suspension parts. Currently running on E85. Not the fastest but it’ll do. Good and fun little car to drive. Feels like a go cart. This took me a little over a year to finish as parts were on back order from various vendors and I just simply had no free time. Next step, bodywork and paint. Possibly upgrade some more engine parts and cosmetic parts.

    ITR head
    -skunk2 tuner2 cams
    -skunk2 springs+retainers
    -skunk2 LMAs
    -skunk2 ultra street manifold
    -skunk2 70mm TB
    B20 block(stock bore)(rebuilt in 2010-2011)
    -ITR style pistons
    B16 hydro trans(stock everything)
    -hasport cable to hydro bracket
    -competition clutch stage 3 clutch
    -yonaka 250hp axles
    -hasport EF/CRX shift linkage
    -skunk2 short shifter
    -solid shifter bushing(front and back)
    Exhaust
    -PLM 4-2-1 header
    -3” mandrel bent piping off eBay
    -3” in/out vibrant hotdog resonator
    -3” in/out vibrant canister
