That young man was impressive bangs, his head pretty hard never flinched and never cussed !!! Then on top of that obviously knows that planter and technology inside and out . Being able to do all those tests and document them in the controller is quite a deal will be interesting to see if you learn anything! Great video i learned a lot you dont see those big planters in our small country fendt won t be happy about your comment about the cab thanks Brian greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Brian awesome video it’s great to see the new technology and what is out there for farmers of tomorrow! But you didn’t let your dad use it at all LOL I would’ve either probably though looks like it was quite fun!!
Great vid👍tuff call today BF vs Welker tractor seeding demo vids, I went with short vid even though I am CaseIH fan LOL. Like the White planter set up, when you finish send it my way with 1000.
Any final thoughts?? The electric planter seems like a lot of tupperware to wear and break without easy fixes in the field. Does the marketed added precision pay for itself? Thank you for sharing and love your channel.
Fendt and drill nice set up but expensive I had a 936 on demo but stayed with JD as the cab is bigger and I think better to drive not so complicated. On the R series the key goes with the tractor and no other key will start it well that's across the pond any way.
@@BriansFarmingVideos Our two big JD tractors are our 8345R and a 7310R and we love them we can't get Challengers over hear we can only get them in Fendt.
Brian thank you for the video at any point in time today did they say how much the Speed Tube attachments cost for high-speed planting I'm sure it's an option and what is the speed variation that allows thank you
Thanks Brian. I'd like to see that setup on the new white planter. We run a 16 row 6000 white and a 16 row 8800 white. Both run hydraulic drives the 8800 is set up with precision 20/20 Air Force and and clean sweep.
Agco owns White planters, Challenger, and Massey Ferguson. If you buy your planter at a Challenger dealer it comes with a Challenger sticker on it. If you buy it at a Massey Ferguson dealer it comes with a Massey Ferguson sticker on it.
With a persuasion planter like this that maps the field. If you did not plant the head lands first the automatic row shutoff would not know were to shut off when you planted your field rows. You could end up with a large unplanted gap or severe overlap. Hope that helps?
It's always better to drive over the planted areas on the headlands. Compacting the soil while you turn before you would plant it is worse. Placement is worse and it really effects emergence.
Other than that the Fendt has a couple more options but the multi function handle is the only thing that can not be ordered on the Challenger as far as I know
HEY Farm 🚜 Fans PLEASE 👍UP and Share BFF Channel Thank You.. 100K Subs ? Before the Combine gets Dirty 🙏😎

Amazing technology! Thanks for keeping us entertained. Better that tv.
Nice fendt 👍🏼👌🏼
Awesome looking tractor and planter
Congratulations on 29,000 subscribers!
Thank you
Stop BEFORE it stops planting? That's an interesting concept. Maybe I'll give it a try this year.
Strange way to go about it if you ask me 🤣🤣🤣
we run row cleaners on our planter, because we double crop beans behind wheat. we have noticed a huge difference.
Really cool video, a lot of things you normally don’t see

Lots of changes from my 6000 White planter! Neat stuff.
Thanks Brian

He was going to use it some but he was finishing up a different field when the rain hit. If we get to use it again he will.
Yes! A Brian video!
Sure is a lot of learning , being a farmer !!! Nice
That how our case planter unit works it very nice
Nice setup for planting

i watched a few of your video's and subscribed.
keep up the great content.
best wishes from Australia
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel
Thanks again, Brian. I'd like to see you buy that White planter. It is a nice one.
Great vid nice setup
Brian there's a GoPro in your hand! Better yank that battery out and put it back in just to be safe...I've done that like 4 times today.
It froze multiple times that day but they are still good at what they do. Just bought another one lol.
@@BriansFarmingVideos if it were not for the stabilization and portability, I would probably be using something else.
het Brian I just wanted to say hi and I like what Your doing watched most of your vids keep it up Thanks
Thanks for watching
That planter was probably built in Hesston Ks. 15 miles from where I live and farm. Have a brother-in-law that builds planters there. Awesome vid
beautiful fendt 👍🏼👌🏼
Great pic , are you guys looking into these new planters ? Like the new planter
No not this year. Gonna need some high crop prices
I guess the payments would be high
Nice new planter
A lot of features, a lot that can break.

In my area everyone has deer planters even the case guys..
Some high tech farm stuff.
great video Brain
Like the idea of the planter but I would hate to change the plates. Seems like it would take forever
Lima is 30 minutes from us. Might have to check it out.
Hey don't be hating on the ProMax 40 Deere meter disks!😀 Seriously though they're actually pretty awesome
Close to 1st. Nice shirt Welkers had on
I agree lol
Good vid
Knocking off the new always fun.
Looking forward to results. Your technology is like computers. New one is old tomorrow

I think the 1000series would be a better comparison. The cab is huge on our 1038 and the user interface gets easy to use after a few days.

Once you get used to the "complications" on a Fendt you never look back. Makes your day so much easier!
@@peterzweck1763 I know that's what people say I'm sure it's true
Yeooow nice fendt !
Great video as always, nice work.
Do you have to hit your head on that part when to change the plates
I believe it standard operating procedure

Brian thank you for the video at any point in time today did they say how much the Speed Tube attachments cost for high-speed planting I'm sure it's an option and what is the speed variation that allows thank you
Never heard an exact price it seems like most options are $1000 per row
Very interesting video, thanks!
I'm from around the Napoleon area are they using the same tractor and planter setup for the plot?
Yep
Thanks Brian. I'd like to see that setup on the new white planter. We run a 16 row 6000 white and a 16 row 8800 white. Both run hydraulic drives the 8800 is set up with precision 20/20 Air Force and and clean sweep.
Is the toolbar for that planter branded as Challenger?
Agco owns White planters, Challenger, and Massey Ferguson. If you buy your planter at a Challenger dealer it comes with a Challenger sticker on it. If you buy it at a Massey Ferguson dealer it comes with a Massey Ferguson sticker on it.
Just buy a fendt 1000 series then😂
Hello Brian do you like the Fendt green more than the Challenger yellow?
Damn you know that hurt..... he rang that ladder
Hot damn, been waiting for this all day ! So is this considered a high speed planter ?
No to be a high speed planter it would need speed tube which would be an add part. The planter is wired for speed tube though
@2:30 mark.... Welcome to farming!!!
Dust what’s dust I’d love to see dust instead we see rain all the time. Make sure you give us all the results this fall
The only thing they are farming in my area is ducks.
How much more does the aqua planter cost? Lol
Still in beta testing 🤣🤣🤣
That planter will make a good replacement for your case planter! You needed a white planter!
Did they tell ya which farm it was near Napoleon?
No they didn’t mention it
@@BriansFarmingVideos well shoot. I am only 10 minutes from there so maybe I'll find out. Thanks
Nice👌
Did the guy say that the white plastic things were seed firmers?
Yep they are Keaton seed firmers
now, when is CLAAS going to get a tractor out there
It would definitely look good pulling a grain cart beside our claas combines
Guys why you love so much German tractors? Lol
We have a good relationship with our AGCO dealer who is also the Claas dealer.
Did you do passes at different speeds, to see the difference, if any?
We did the plot at 5.2mph and one pass at 6.5mph but nothing faster.
Don't break that Fendt key, it's very expensive to replace. Now our broken key is zip tied under the dash so it will start with a generic fendt key.
Just north of Lima they ain't gonna be planting nothing round here for a min lol
Head injury did that leave a knott
Are you going to look in to getting a White Planter
They gonna bring you out a 8 row head for the test plot ?
fessel79 it an 12 planter
It’s a 16 row planter. I think they are going to get a 8 row to us
Can't wait till you get 150k subs so I can be 150k and 1
Why do farmers plant the head lands first. don't you end up driving over and compacting a lot of planted seed?
With a persuasion planter like this that maps the field. If you did not plant the head lands first the automatic row shutoff would not know were to shut off when you planted your field rows. You could end up with a large unplanted gap or severe overlap. Hope that helps?
It's always better to drive over the planted areas on the headlands. Compacting the soil while you turn before you would plant it is worse. Placement is worse and it really effects emergence.
Where's George? Did you far him again or is just tarred. LOL!
You need to compare a Fendt 1000 series to a Challenger 1000 series.
One is yellow one is Green
@@BriansFarmingVideos Yep

I thought it was built well. No more plastic than other planters
