- What's going on guys! In this video my Dad and I start assembling and figuring out what we need to do to finish the cab of the jeep. We also start mocking up the bed portion of the jeep! If you guys have any questions please feel free to ask! Thanks for watching!

Just wanted to say l have been really enjoying this video series.. from the cool garage set up with all the great stuff in the background to the step by step process you are demonstrating....l guess the best part is that you are getting to do this with you Dad.....many of my best memories was doing project with mine... something that many of us watching I'm sure feel the same way. Looking forward to seeing the finished project it's looking pretty good already.

This is an amazing project and even though I would never try this myself I still feel the excitement and anticipation for the next installment. The time deadline reference was intriguing. Planning a trip with the finished project? Loving this.

Thank you!! As of right now the interior is going to stay tan. We aren't 100% sure what we want to do in terms of exterior color. Might be a wrap or a repaint! That will determine the interior color!

@@jorgevizcarra4437 wrapping it I know we would try ourselves but when it comes to painting my uncle is an expert! We’d probably have him help us at the very least.
Would you have the roll bar padding from any of the tubs. If so I'd love to buy it I need some.

Great progress! Do you think it would be feasible to do an extra cab? Did design influence your decision to shorten the cab?
Thanks! Extra cab? As in having a longer one with more seats? I prefer to have more room in the bed area as I need it for gear, Roof Top Tent, etc. I will have plenty of storage behind my seats in the cab for the few things I would like to keep locked up. I also plan on having fully sealed and lockable storage in the bed of the Jeep.

How did you find the tubs your using? I’ve been trying to find one near me with no rust but can’t for the life of me
I used Facebook marketplace for each one. There are also a few people around me who part jeeps out for a living so I have access to TJ stuff whenever I need.
What are you going to do for a top? modify a hard top or custom soft top or make a half soft top fit or the gr8top half top fit?
I will be purchasing a soft top just for the cab area which will really only really cover the two seats. As for the hard top, we will be modifying my old hardtop. It is a challenge we want to take on and we have some cool ideas for it too!
Since the hard top is just fiberglass it shouldn’t be too difficult. 🍿 I will enjoy the journey

What is the new wheelbase in inches?
Should be right around 117”

Yes, we have one but we are missing a couple things to help us get perfectly straight cuts.
