Cris, I have been a strong believer in your tank build. But over time, this move combination even got to a negative win-rate, it’s not tanky enough nor does it do enough damage. Look at your own tank Mewtwo X games from your stream and you’ll see how much you’ve lost with this build recently. No flame - it’s a fun build, but it is not that appealing anymore sadly. The Miraidon tank build is the best build though, it’s too good. Anyways, thank you for all the content 🙏🏼

I really don't understand why this is a contentious issue. According to UniteAPI, Mewtwo X currently has a win rate of about 52%, which places it fifth among all Pokémon. The most popular build is the defender build, with a win rate of around 53%, and the other builds are significantly dragging down the average win rate. UniteAPI collects data from high-level players, but considering the complexity of controlling the defender build, there’s no reason to believe its performance would worsen in lower-ranked games.

No, they’re complaining that it’s being advertised to a playerbase that is very average and can barely play MewtwoX as it is or have no game sense. If we’re going to complain that slowbro is so broken, why not just play the defender??? Not everyone has the skill like Cris to make this build work so it’s a waste of a slot

It just works and my fav mewtwo build
At first I had my doubts but I tried it but replaced XP share [was duo laning with an eevee] with leftovers (coz why not) and used psystrike instead. He was actually living through fights and he recovers like 1/2 of his HP while rotating. I also used psystrike like a low cd full heal too. Definitely did lower damage but got less faints too.

Have you tried swapping leftovers for drain crown?
Just use resonant guard or something, leftovers is garbo
@@danielstuckwisch9343 So I swapped out leftovers for drain crown. At first I thought since I deal less damage it wouldn't be good but it allowed me to 1 v 1 a garchomp and win. I Definitely need to cook more with this build since I'm not fully convinced.
I much prefer psystrike as a move, but after watching this video I understand why you take future sight.
My favorite defender tbh
If there's anyone who does not like this build, can you share your opinion? Never played, but it looks quite promising to me. I was looking for new defensive play and want to check if this build is troll or not, in the perspective of ally teammates.
I do not hate this build but there are not that many people who can play mewtwo x well. In addition, playing this "tank build, you lose access to mewtwo y, miriadon and zacian so is it worth?
@@darkling5780 Thank you for sharing. Excluding other Ex pokemon with its potential would indeed be a bad choice in some sense. I'll make sure to play it only when my teammates do not pick Ex.
Cris is talented; he can definitely play the build and play it well. The randoms is solo queue who play this game casually or just aren’t good watching these videos who don’t have good game sense are the ones who give this build a bad name. I’m all for being creative but the playerbase on average is already insufferable when it comes to picking damage characters and not being able to do anything with them. They should be picking real defenders or supports first, learning those roles, and then using that skill to expand into tankier all rounders

Tank tems of course make sense but i just fail to see how EXP share is good on Mewtwo X. Youre a massive damage dealer with mega, you need muscle band. And you need level to do damage. Your literal only tank CC is future sight you dont even have boosted basics, no slows or anything, EXP share just doesnt make sense
it makes a lot of sense when exp share is the most broken item in the game and mewtwo x doesnt farm well :)
You're not looking at this from the right perspective. Why do you take exp share on anyone? To support your team. If he wanted to deal damage then he obviously wouldn't take it.
They should just rework mewtwo x into defender and y into mage. Will make them way interesting

Hey Cris Iam gonna buy a Pokémon but Dotn know which one to get. It’s between metagross, Zoroark, Lapras, clefairy, Umbreon and leafeon. (And also ceruledge but Iam waiting for armarouge and I also don’t like his play style)
That's a pretty big variety, I can't exactly say which one is BEST but here's a tiny overview of each one
-metagross is pretty tanky and hits hard, but need a good amount of xp early and has a not so great unite move
-zoroark is very difficult to control in my experience but does insane damage if the combos are pulled off right
-lapras is the type of defender that keeps itself alive pretty well but doesn't really do a ton to hinder enemies
-clefairy heals and heals and heals and sometimes explodes and heals and...
-umbreon hinders opponents a lot and can play more supportively with wish if you want
-leafeon is an easier to play speedster I think, and can do well in lane because of the lv4 evolution. Very spammable unite move

Fr it's a game, you're supposed to try different things that may even work (obv you should try to first understand how each item and stats work, then using different build makes sense as you will avoid garbo builds like leftovers or Av)
It's literally the same concept in normal Pokemon games, you try different builds. Defensive, Balanced, Super Offensive, etc. and refrain from using shit like physical attacks on a special pkmn 😂

Mew2x isn’t a defender and I just feel with some of the buffs some mons have it’s just best to pay a defender. And please, can you be kinder and nice? @@markmushyguy This video wouldn't make trolls any less trolling. I would vastly prefer this to a whole host of pokemon people play instead. At a minimum, they have an xp share to funnel more experience into those that are trying.
And no, M2X isn't a defender - it's an all rounder. But you play tanky items and play in the defender playstle. Just like cookie miridon, spoon/focus/anti heal sylveon, or xp share Pikachu or regular Mew.
Just because a mon has a certain color behind its picture doesn't mean you have to play it in one style.

How is something “broken” if lots of mons are stronger?
@@Kennclarete because miraidon is stronger than tyranitar or the reverse for example, it doesn't mean that one of them is broken and the other isn't. There are rankings in the broken category but all of them count as broken. Mewtwo x for example might not be s tier, but it isn't a tier either. It's closer to a+ tier. Which automatically makes it stronger than 90% of the characters. The s tier Pokémon might be stronger than it but they are like only 6. In a roaster of 60 Pokémon
Btw don't say that x or y Pokémon defeat it as well and they aren't s tier Pokémon. Like zeraora destroys miraidon as well. It doesn't mean it is broken or that miraidon is weak. If you think it isn't strong that's fine. The majority think it is.
The tank build of Mewtwo X isn't what makes Mewtwo work either. You can play it without items and you will still perform well. That's how strong Mewtwo in general is
