SIEGFRIED AND ROY INDUCTED TO LA WALK OF STARS
Roy Horn is very much alive and well and living in Las Vegas.
Illusionist Roy Horn and his long-time showbiz partner Siegfried Fischbacher, of Siegfried and Roy fame, were inducted into the Las Vegas Walk of Stars Tuesday.
The ceremony took place near a Siegfried and Roy monument on the sidewalk along N. Las Vegas Blvd. in front of The Mirage hotel, home of the duo's act from 1990 until 3 October 2003, when Roy was critically injured following an on-stage attack by a seven-year-old male tiger.
His speech was sometimes sluggish, a few times unintelligible.

Yes, Siegfried and Roy retired on April 23, 2010. Their last performance was on February 28, 2009 at the Bellagio hotel for the "Power of Love" gala to benefit the Lou Ruvo Brain Institute in Las Vegas at the Keep Memory Alive event Center. Sadly, on April 28, 2020 Roy tested positive for Covid-19 and was hospitalized at the Mountain View hospital in Las Vegas unfortunately he passed away on May 8, 2020 at the age of 75 due to complications related with Covid-19. And 8 months later, on January 11, 2021, Siegfried was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that was very advanced and on January 13, he died at the age of 81.
