I loved this! When I met my best friend, she called herself an atheist, and for years I tried to turn her into a Christian. It wasn't until a year ago that she came to know the Lord, and it wasn't with me. I was away on a trip when she made the personal decision to accept Jesus. All that time, I thought that I would be there the day she accepted Jesus, that I would be the friend walking her to the altar. You see, without even knowing it, I had Meade her salvation about me. I was seeking the credit of knowing it was me who saved her. What the Lord taught me through that experience, was that we are called to plant the seeds, not bring about the harvest. Its not about us, and all glory is always to Jesus.

I'd like to share with you the story about how God is great! I've been praying so long about getting a job, because in my small town it's really hard to find a job, especially in photography sphere, and now God answered me!!! It's amazing! I will be a photojournalist at a newspaper , they just called me and offered a job😅 God is so able and just amazing! And tomorrow I have my first day ;)

Another way we can plant seeds in our friends' lives is by showing LOVE and LIVING LIKE JESUS! People notice that you're different, and they generally want to know why 😊 When your friends see you changing and growing, they notice (but may not understand) that God is working on your heart and your spirit. Aww you're right! That was one thing I was disappointed in actually - that situation you're talking about has happened many times in the past, where people say, "something is different about you! What is it?" but I've been so disappointed that my 3 friends haven't had that revelation yet... It's been hard ya know?

I've also been praying for my dad to give his heart to God. It's been years but NOTHING. But God has taught me to believe and trust in Him. His timing is perfect. Thanks for giving me some Hope again. It's so difficult to stay Hopeful all the time. But somehow God helps me up again and I manage to Stay Hopeful.

I had been reading Proverbs 3 almost daily but for some reason I forgot that line. To hear you read that first shows me God is always with us leading our hearts. God bless you and great video!

I completely relate to wanting so bad for a friend to come to a Jesus, thank you for this video! I'm currently reading Pastor Levi Lusko's book Swipe Right, and he talks about how when the Israelites are walking around the city of Jericho, there were no indicators that the walls would actually fall after the seventh day. The wall didn't fall a little at a time after each time around, but rather it stayed standing completely until they had completed the seventh walk around. I'm sure it took a lot of patience and faith to keep walking with no signs of progress. He goes on to say, "I can't help but stop and wonder if you might be right there--- at the edge of victory. Are you tempted to lose heart and throw in the towel because something you were sure was God's will doesn't seem to be working? ... Please don't give up. The breakthrough you are longing for might come without any indication along the way that what you are doing is working. Take heart. Trust your instruments. You might be closer to landing than you know."

I needed this so much for the time I'm in right now. Loved the verses you shared!!
Being joyful in hard times, is an active choice you have to make. It's not something that just magically happens, it's something you have to fight for!
I'm currently reading this analysis book of the Bible and there's this sentence: "God appears in many different forms in the Old Testament, including an angel, a wrestler, a burst of fire, and a quiet whisper." God taking the form of a wrestler and a whisper speak to me a lot. They are unexpected and subtle, we can't know or fathom His ways. Especially the why.
I was raised Christian, but I strayed away from it in high school. My friend group always tried to talk about Jesus to me, however my heart was hardened back then.
Because of recent experiences I've had, I've been magnetized back to the Bible and it's speaking to me a lot. It is crazy. There are verses I never knew existed and they are extraordinary. Be patient with your friends! The most valuable things take time. Faith and getting to know God is a life-long process.
Pain and suffering are hard to talk about. We don't want disappointment or hardships. And yet, literally almost all the people in Bible faced ridiculously hard times. Where there is an exile, there is God wanting you back. I am still figuring out things and I will probably never understand it all, but this is what I've found.

I loved this! And I usually don't comment on videos but my sister fell out of love with God so she went her seperate way but our parents always told us to pray for her, we prayed together and after years, just last year she came back to God and words can't explain how grateful we are, God answered our prayers and she now shares her testimony to others to say that he is the answer. There's so much more but everything has changed and God keeps showing his love to her and he's using my sister for a bigger purpose and it just brings so much joy to my heart and that he does have his own timing. 💕
That can be disappointing. We have to just love people authentically and live our faith in their presence. I would love to see all my friends embrace Jesus, but if not, I'm just going to love them and be a great friend to them. You nailed it. Great video!

I have been going through a rough season in my life, with many different things going on, and they all seem to overlap each other. With my heart being so weary, I have felt my passion for dance leaving; I went to bed about a week ago, crying and worshiping at His feet for an answer. When I woke up the next morning, I heard PaPa God singing, "you taught my feet to dance upon disappointment, and I will worship you". I Googled those words, and found it to be an actual song!! 😍😇

This is such a great video! Congrats on finishing school and turning 21! I just finished another semester also - it's all about those summer courses. I finally followed you on IG! This verse really helps me in witnessing to others... [1 Corinthians 3:6] says "I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase." It means that though we are responsible to witness to others, and give The Word to them, it's God who provides the growth. Using the analogy of a plant, we can plant and water the seed, but the sun gives the light which catalyzes the photosynthesis. I love that you're continuing to pray and believe. God sees our hearts, and those people who diligently seek God, God will provide a way for.

It's always hard when the people you're close to don't share your same beliefs. But like you said, you have to trust in God. It's amazing how God will showus things while we're waiting for things to happen, and teach us things through disappointments.

a great video 😊 I wanted to encourage you by saying that each individual is on a certain level with their relationship with God or some individuals have just started the race, others are doing hundreds of laps... What I want to say is that every seed planted into a non-Christian will not go to waste when the ground is prepared by prayer! However, it may not be God's plan to show you the result of the harvest... Your friends may need to go through challenges before they make a commitment to God. All you can do is pray, live out your faith and talk to them about God. God bless x

Amen !! I am so blessed I can hear God's word anytime I want! I've been having so many disappointments in my life, but recently been praying again. And it's amazing what God can do in our lives. I don't want to say I'm changed yet but I feel closer to Jesus and all I want is to grow in His presence. Thank you for sharing your heart!! This has been a subject of disappointment for me as well. It has been hard for me to have loving conversations with friends and distant family where I believed they were being drawn but, then something shifts and they don't want to talk about the things of God anymore. Afterwards I have been tempted to think back and over anylize what I had said :p However God has been helping me to stop dwelling on how I have handled it but, to declare His power and how hes handleing it!! I love the "Heros" song you mentioned.! There is power released when we dance upon disappointmens! I have witnessed loved ones receiving Christ before.Praise God! May we keep praying for The ones on our hearts!
This is something I struggle with a lot because I want to be in control and move forward all the time. Right now especially I have to continue to remind myself to trust fully on God with my future because things are not falling forward. I need to let go and trust God that he has other plans and a different way of getting there then I do.

Great thoughts. :) God wants us to talk with him, to love people, and to speak truth boldly and kindly. He works through us in all this, but the ultimate state of any human heart is not something we have control over. As simple as it sounds, I think it really does come down to trusting him - trusting that he is the lover he has shown himself to be in Jesus, and that he is always moving in endlessly surprising ways we could never begin to guess.

yes! I needed this! - I'm just entering adulthood here in the next year or so & I'm just getting bombarded with questions! - First off, it's my job. I work at a grocery store & it's alright, but it's not ideal. I actually want to work with kids & babies at a daycare but that opportunity never seems to open up for me. Second, I don't know about who I'm gonna marry (I've never had a boyfriend. only been on 1 date in my life.) there are guys that like me but that I don't like the same way. & I guess I'm feeling the weight of the big decisions & I'm not entirely sure what to do. but I've learned from your video that I will trust God & praise Him even when I'm confused about everything! -Loves your video & i love you too!💕 thank you!!~

I'm getting over a terrible cold too! I've been trying to study for my final exams too but I've been disappointed in myself because I haven't been able to study as much as I wanted because of my sickness - however every single time I take a revision break, I PRAISE HIM!
I've also been praying so much for my friends from home to be saved too. It's hard when at university I've got so many Christian friends unlike back home, then when I get home I'm hanging with my heathens 😅 AND GIRL, PROVERBS 3:5 WAS MY STUDY VERSE ON SATURDAY! As well as Isaiah 26:3, which has helped me so so so much! God is so awesome and good - the way He's connected us is so scary yet amazing! Once again am so thankful for God bringing me to your channel - your videos never fail to speak to me in some way or another! Really needed this message today, it's such an encouragement to know I'm not the only one feeling discouraged by things not going my way with friends/family. I'm not sure if you've already made a video on this before, but could you maybe elaborate more on your views on predestination? It's a topic I've been interested in due to the different views on the extent to which each person's salvation depends on their own choice, or on God's will. In particular, I get quite confused by verses such as Romans 8:30 which give the impression that there is an exclusive group of people chosen by God to believe in him... I don't believe this is true as it contradicts God's compassionate nature in wanting all to be saved, but I'm just not sure how to interpret verses speaking explicitly of predestination. I know this is a heavy topic and not easily discussed in a short video, but would love some clarity if possible! Keep on shining His light

what a great message! i really needed this. i had a bit of a meltdown over the death of my fiance. he was a non believer and i cried for 2 hrs asking out loud why did he take him away from me. i know it was to stop me making the bad mistake of wanting to be married to a non believer. but i wish he'd just had us split up. this message helped me to realise that God will make beauty from the ashes. He wrecked my plans because He knew they'd wreck me. i will ask for strength to help dance on the disappointments. God bless you for your wonderful message 🙏

I understand you, I have a childhood friend, and really love her and to have this friendship, and I invited her to church and told her about God, with one hand she agree with me, but with another I don't know, she always has excuses not to go with me 😔
That happened to meeee literally one of the 3 friends I was talking about has done that to me! I think honestly it's this tug/war going on in their hearts. They aren't ready to give up their lives to follow Jesus. They still want to be in this world and they know they can't have both lives. One focusing on earthly things and one on heavenly things. It stinkssss but it takes time!!! I feel ya girl.

This video is really encouraging for me. I'm not trying to start a debate but rather a small, neat discussion. I know there are people that have had the same problem as me, so I guess I should share. I'm Jewish, but I was never raised to be religious. When I watch Becca's videos, I get motivated to dive more into my faith. Jews and Christians do share some values that I've been learning about. In my opinion, there is no "correct" religion to follow. At least I have no authority to say what is truth and what isn't. With Judaism, I find myself strongly connecting to G-d and I'm content with life and what I read in the texts. My closest friends are Jewish, so we just grow strongly and passionately together. I'm not asking for anything silly like "proof" but I would like to hear other people's opinions on what religion kind of means. I don't think I'll ever be in any religion without some kind of doubt, but I believe as long as I'm passionate and connected with what I am practicing, there is no right answer. I really like any comments for people who want to talk about this ☺️ (Sorry if there's grammar errors, my phone is acting up. )

You should read Isaiah 53. It talks about the messiah and his coming. The description perfectly fits Jesus Christ. It says he will be humiliated and rejected just like Jesus was. Jesus paid our price for our sins and allows us to have a close and personal relationship with god. The god of the Old Testament the great I am.

I'm beyond disappointment. I just see my dream turn into dust, I just find out that I don't have a call, a talent or a purpose, a reason why. I'm as sad as possible, and I don't want to be comforted. I don't know what to do, and I believe that there is nothing to do. I want to keep seeking after God, but I have no joy and is really hard to praise Him now, almost hurt. When I pray it seems like God does not care.
