Bill Gates even said: "DNA is like a computer program but far, far more advanced than any software ever created." All these things point to an intelligent creator, because scientists know that any code that carries commands and instructions comes from intelligence. There is a lot more evidence that there is a creator. If someone wants more evidence then just ask.

With creation I always challenge people to think of the purpose of life. Everything in our world has a purpose to it so why wouldn't our life have a purpose. I love it when I go to a church I have never been to and the preacher says something specific to what I or my family is dealing with. For example: my uncle is the preacher of my church I attend right now and my mom (his sister) is a Sunday school teacher. My mom has been feeling like she is being called elsewhere but she isn't sure and is struggling with the comments when she mentioned way back that she thought about leaving our church. So, we went to a new church, during the sermon the speaker (He wasn't the pastor He was sharing his testimony) said something along the lines of following God and what He calls you to do no matter what other people said and then He said …. "even if your brother is the preacher" Those words hit me hard. This speaker didn't know anything about us and this was one of those moments when I knew God was speaking. He is so cool!
The voice in the back of one's mind you speak of, I've heard it before too. When I quited my soul before God and asked him to speak his will into my life I left the prayer with a kind of "Keep doing what you're doing [pursuing God] and be faithful." That message was confirmed to me by a sister (LoveKeilahJ) who uploaded a video super fast after that with the title reading something like "Don't Doubt the Voice of God". God bless you all.
Woah! I can hear God not often but I do hear him speak clearly, sometimes it's one word, other times its convictions. There are times he speaks and it often happens that when he does there is a word spoken by a brother or sister that is the exact same thing. But I never heard his voice until I received the Holy Spirit.

When i was in the 6th grade i accepted god into my heart. From that point on i knew he would hold me accountable for my actions. Well now im 19, and over the years i have drifted away from him. In my heart i never truly denied that he existed but i have gotten good at ignoring him. Recently i have had stuff happen in my life that has drawn me closer to God yet i know that i am no were near close to bieng the man God has planned for me to be. I just have to say that you are truly inspiring. I am amazed by your faith in God. Keep doing what your doing.

Thank you so much Becca for making these videos. It's great to see that young people (like us) in today's society are so devoted to God. From some of the things showing on TV and some music being made today, it would seem that some of the rich, are running the world against God's wishes; so it's always a breath of fresh air to close all that out and join you and like minded people on TH-cam. I don't judge I pray for everyone. I was thinking of when God says to love everyone and I had a moment when I heard God's voice in my heart saying 'Love don't Judge' - I thought it was great and wrote it down. I got back from my first confessional a few hours ago and I feel such peace :) (I'm Greek Orthodox and most of the church service is in Ancient Greek - I speak modern Greek) and I thought i'd find out if I could go to Confession in a Roman Catholic church as I'd understand what was being said. The pastor I spoke with asked me to pray to God whilst he found out from a higher pastor in Westminster, London where I live but he was 95% sure I wouldn't be allowed as I'm not Roman Catholic. I prayed and knew I my heart that God doesn't discriminate... Well the pastor called back and told me I could because I'd asked. God listens to us all :) God bless you. Andrea xxxxxxx
The still, small voice is the best way to hear from God. He tells us what we need to do for that day in quiet time in the morning. Most of the time though, He is speaking and we just go with the hunch that it is Him. For instance, I was on the phone with a girl in the UK, and the song Windy popped into my mind, so I said it. It was her mother's name. The first time God spoke to me on 6/28/2004, it wasn't a good thing, but it was for my good. He told me my husband was having an affair with my best friend at church. It ended up it was true, and for nine months I was suicidal, but God showed me that I wasn't born again. I repented and got the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and ever since He speaks to me every day. Acts 2:17-18 women will prophesy too, so I have been on YT for three years telling people that Jesus is coming in the rapture. I don't see that you have any videos about the end times, so I pray that God will show you what is about to happen. Maybe your video about the lukewarm Christians is that you know they are about to be left behind. God bless.
Hey Becca! So I've been majorly stressed with college applications including the one to my dream college. I'm a couple steps behind in the process due to the waiting of transcripts to be processed and other minor details. This evening I got what felt like almost a punch in the face. It was the idea that none of the stuff I wanted was going to play through. That I wasn't going to get into my dream college and everything else from there was going to fall apart and become the complete opposite of what I wanted. I had the biggest breakdown ever and began to write some really negative things in my journal and then I decided to play some worship music and pray. I prayed that I would find comfort if what I want doesn't fit with His plans and then also I prayed for it to be how I would like it to go, only if it was meant to be. It was eye opening to know that for once I knew what I wanted and I admitted how terrified I was going to be and scared if what seemed to be familiar now to me was going to flip if it doesn't work out. I just wanted to share for those that are going through my situation and also for you to pray for me that whatever is in His plan is for the best and that I'm going to get through this rough patch. For a little while, I felt that I was drifting away from God. School and homework were making me feel stressed, so I pushed God to the side. Thank you so much for this video because it made me see again that God is at work in even the smallest of ways. It inspired me to do quiet times and connect with people again. Thank you! Thank you! This video reminds me of a time when I was in deep depression last Christmas. My mind was thinking a whole lot of negative from lustfulness (I think it was due to my laziness and not eating properly) to meaningless in thinking that I was just going to die and life didn't matter. Then my friend's dad took us to watch a movie (Star Wars The Last Jedi). There was a statement by one of the actors in the movie that read, "That's how we're going to win. Not by fighting what we hate, but saving what we Love." For some of the rest of the movie (we had to leave before it finished) I was thinking in my head, "is this God speaking to me?" I still have the quote saved to my phone this day. We may have left the movie early, but I left with a sense of hope that God is still real and wants me to know something.

It's really comforting sometimes, and others it's really motivating. You can think: In some other type of dimension, God is there. He can sense what I'm thinking about doing and maybe he can hear my thoughts. He is personal to me, and personal to every individual. He is in or around us in one way or another. Love your videos :)) To put everything into short, basically I’ve started a new school and when I joined I didn’t know anyone but even though I’ve been there for a whole term, I still don’t feel completely settled: I don’t seem to have any proper friends who care about me and it is currently the Christmas holidays and I really just want to go back to school with a positive attitude and I really want people to see God’s goodness shine through me. I want God to use me in a way to lead others to Christ and I’ve constantly prayed about it but I just don’t know what further to do. I would really appreciate it if someone could pray for me. I believe the title is not completely accurate in a sense. I’ve seen from personal experience and from others that god can CLEARLY speak to you just as you would talk to anyone else. A pastor Dwayne Sherrif talks about this in that he once heard god call his name out in a store and he turned around because he thought someone was talking to him. In my own experience god has yelled at me not to do things or calmly guided me to make a good decision or the sorts, it doesn’t always happen often, but it happens. Audible or otherwise.

You sound just like a muslim friend that I have. He swears that Allah speaks to him and that there are these uncanny coincidences that he attributes to the Islamic god. How do we know which one of you, if either, are experiencing god?
Don't apologize! You're totally fine! :) The punishment for turning against God or sin is death, so because of our choice to sin, someone needed to die. God didn't want that to happen, so He Himself chose to be the sacrifice for us. His death satisfied the wrath of God for the punishment we deserved. It was an incredible, selfless act of love. I would love to talk more about this with you if that was confusing, because it totally might be!!

I'm sorry I really don't know anything about it so it's probably dumb but it sounds like he basically killed himself? Like why did he choose to have Jesus killed? You're not stupid at all! These are really good questions to be asking. That was the punishment He chose, something we can't really understand. But if Jesus wouldn't have died for us, we would have never been able to understand the depth of God's love for us. That's one of many reasons He died for us.
It was necessary because before they used to have to sacrifice an animal to atone for sins, but Jesus was sinless and he didn't deserve to die but he was the ultimate sacrifice once and for all for our sins and as long as we repent and turn to him then his sacrifice will wash us clean.

I disagree with what you said at 8:40 about testing God. You are right that Jesus said, we ought not to test God. But I think, you are probably missing the context of Luke 4:12. The context is, that the devil is testing Jesus by inciting him to jump from the top of the temple, which would be pointless and foolish, just to see, if God would not save him. Jesus is citing from Deuteronomy 6:16 where we can find another important piece of context. Moses tells Israel, that they shall not test God, "as [they] tested Him at Massah". Now, if you read Exodus 17:1-7, you will see what happened at Massah: Israel grumbled against God, they doubted and tested Him by asking, "Is the Lord among us or not?" I don't know, why Jesus ommited this reference to Massah, but I'm sure, He and the devil both know the texts well enough to get the reference, even if it is not explicit. Therefore, I wouldn't read too much into it. The reason why I disagree with you here is Malachi 3:10 where God tells Israel to hold his commandments and thereby "put [Him] to the test, [...] if [He] will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need." For me, this reads like "believe in God, trust in Him and test Him, if he will not keep each of his promises", including to speak to us when we need it and as we need it. According to Strong's dictionary, two different verbs are used in Deuteronomy 6:16 and Malachi 3:10, but their translation is almost identical. I compared the two verses in several translations in German (ELB, LUT), French (S21), English (NKJV, NASB, ESV) and Swedish (SFB). Except for the ESV, all of them use two different words, where the verb used in Deuteronomy 6:16 has a slightly more negative connotation. But I couldn't say exactly, what is the difference. Consider also, how Peter tested Jesus (Matthew 14:28). Jumping overboard during a storm with no need and "just for fun" is just as foolish and pointless as jumping from a roof. And even though Peter's test seems to be very similar to the situation in Luke 4:12, Jesus' answer is completly different. Summarizing these four situations, I think it always depends on how and why we test God. If we doubt and put Him into question, then we are sinning. If we believe and trust in Him, then God will answer favorably in some way.
Hi there!! So yes - that is where satan was tempting Jesus! And Jesus was referring back to Deuteronomy for sure. The verse in Malachi you're right about though! I think that is the one time where I believe it is okay to test God. God was basically telling Israel to test His faithfulness in blessing them if they tithed to Him. God's math when it comes to blessings doesn't work the way ours does - He gives immeasurably more to us in return than what we originally gave. (In the OT, they received earthly blessings from Him in this way, today it isn't exactly the same. We are getting heavenly rewards for the good we do for God and the kingdom, but we won't necessarily be rich on earth.) So yes, I agree with you on this! :) God did ask them to test Him to see if He truly would give them an abundance of blessings if they tithed. For the example with Peter, that one is a little different. I see what you're trying to say, but I think it was different since Jesus was there with Peter in that moment. God is still with us today, all around us, but it is not the same. We cannot do anything superhuman, such as walking on the water or flying. Peter was able to walk on the water because Jesus was there and gave him the ability to do that. If we tried to test God to see if we could walk on the water today, it wouldn't work since Jesus is not physically with us anymore. So you're right! There is that one example of when it's okay to test God. In the video, I hope it's clear that I meant that we ought not test God to see if He can prove Himself to us. I hope that makes sense! And I hope you liked the rest of the video haha besides that part since maybe it was a little fuzzy! Have a great day!!

It ended up it was true, and for nine months I was suicidal, but God showed me that I wasn't born again. I repented and got the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and ever since He speaks to me every day. Acts 2:17-18 women will prophesy too, so I have been on YT for three years telling people that Jesus is coming in the rapture. I don't see that you have any videos about the end times, so I pray that God will show you what is about to happen. Maybe your video about the lukewarm Christians is that you know they are about to be left behind. God bless.
Hey Becca! So I've been majorly stressed with college applications including the one to my dream college. I'm a couple steps behind in the process due to the waiting of transcripts to be processed and other minor details. This evening I got what felt like almost a punch in the face. It was the idea that none of the stuff I wanted was going to play through. That I wasn't going to get into my dream college and everything else from there was going to fall apart and become the complete opposite of what I wanted. I had the biggest breakdown ever and began to write some really negative things in my journal and then I decided to play some worship music and pray. I prayed that I would find comfort if what I want doesn't fit with His plans and then also I prayed for it to be how I would like it to go, only if it was meant to be. It was eye opening to know that for once I knew what I wanted and I admitted how terrified I was going to be and scared if what seemed to be familiar now to me was going to flip if it doesn't work out. I just wanted to share for those that are going through my situation and also for you to pray for me that whatever is in His plan is for the best and that I'm going to get through this rough patch. Thank you! This video reminds me of a time when I was in deep depression last Christmas. My mind was thinking a whole lot of negative from lustfulness (I think it was due to my laziness and not eating properly) to meaningless in thinking that I was just going to die and life didn't matter. Then my friend's dad took us to watch a movie (Star Wars The Last Jedi).
There was a statement by one of the actors in the movie that read, "That's how we're going to win. Not by fighting what we hate, but saving what we Love." For some of the rest of the movie (we had to leave before it finished) I was thinking in my head, "is this God speaking to me?" I still have the quote saved to my phone this day. We may have left the movie early, but I left with a sense of hope that God is still real and wants me to know something.

Love your videos :)) To put everything into short, basically I’ve started a new school and when I joined I didn’t know anyone but even though I’ve been there for a whole term, I still don’t feel completely settled: I don’t seem to have any proper friends who care about me and it is currently the Christmas holidays and I really just want to go back to school with a positive attitude and I really want people to see God’s goodness shine through me. I believe the title is not completely accurate in a sense. I’ve seen from personal experience and from others that god can CLEARLY speak to you just as you would talk to anyone else. A pastor Dwayne Sherrif talks about this in that he once heard god call his name out in a store and he turned around because he thought someone was talking to him. In my own experience god has yelled at me not to do things or calmly guided me to make a good decision or the sorts, it doesn’t always happen often, but it happens. Audible or otherwise.

Don't apologize! You're totally fine! :) The punishment for turning against God or sin is death, so because of our choice to sin, someone needed to die. God didn't want that to happen, so He Himself chose to be the sacrifice for us. His death satisfied the wrath of God for the punishment we deserved. It was an incredible, selfless act of love. I would love to talk more about this with you if that was confusing, because it totally might be!!

You're not stupid at all! These are really good questions to be asking. That was the punishment He chose, something we can't really understand. But if Jesus wouldn't have died for us, we would have never been able to understand the depth of God's love for us. That's one of many reasons He died for us.
It was necessary because before they used to have to sacrifice an animal to atone for sins, but Jesus was sinless and he didn't deserve to die but he was the ultimate sacrifice once and for all for our sins and as long as we repent and turn to him then his sacrifice will wash us clean.

I disagree with what you said at 8:40 about testing God. You are right that Jesus said, we ought not to test God. But I think, you are probably missing the context of Luke 4:12. The context is, that the devil is testing Jesus by inciting him to jump from the top of the temple, which would be pointless and foolish, just to see, if God would not save him.
Jesus is citing from Deuteronomy 6:16 where we can find another important piece of context. Moses tells Israel, that they shall not test God, "as [they] tested Him at Massah". Now, if you read Exodus 17:1-7, you will see what happened at Massah: Israel grumbled against God, they doubted and tested Him by asking, "Is the Lord among us or not?" I don't know, why Jesus ommited this reference to Massah, but I'm sure, He and the devil both know the texts well enough to get the reference, even if it is not explicit. Therefore, I wouldn't read too much into it.
The reason why I disagree with you here is Malachi 3:10 where God tells Israel to hold his commandments and thereby "put [Him] to the test, [...] if [He] will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need." For me, this reads like "believe in God, trust in Him and test Him, if he will not keep each of his promises", including to speak to us when we need it and as we need it.
According to Strong's dictionary, two different verbs are used in Deuteronomy 6:16 and Malachi 3:10, but their translation is almost identical. I compared the two verses in several translations in German (ELB, LUT), French (S21), English (NKJV, NASB, ESV) and Swedish (SFB). Except for the ESV, all of them use two different words, where the verb used in Deuteronomy 6:16 has a slightly more negative connotation. But I couldn't say exactly, what is the difference.
Consider also, how Peter tested Jesus (Matthew 14:28). Jumping overboard during a storm with no need and "just for fun" is just as foolish and pointless as jumping from a roof. And even though Peter's test seems to be very similar to the situation in Luke 4:12, Jesus' answer is completly different. Summarizing these four situations, I think it always depends on how and why we test God. If we doubt and put Him into question, then we are sinning. If we believe and trust in Him, then God will answer favorably in some way.
Hi there!! So yes - that is where satan was tempting Jesus! And Jesus was referring back to Deuteronomy for sure. The verse in Malachi you're right about though! I think that is the one time where I believe it is okay to test God. God was basically telling Israel to test His faithfulness in blessing them if they tithed to Him. God's math when it comes to blessings doesn't work the way ours does - He gives immeasurably more to us in return than what we originally gave. (In the OT, they received earthly blessings from Him in this way, today it isn't exactly the same. We are getting heavenly rewards for the good we do for God and the kingdom, but we won't necessarily be rich on earth.) So yes, I agree with you on this! :) God did ask them to test Him to see if He truly would give them an abundance of blessings if they tithed.
For the example with Peter, that one is a little different. I see what you're trying to say, but I think it was different since Jesus was there with Peter in that moment. God is still with us today, all around us, but it is not the same. We cannot do anything superhuman, such as walking on the water or flying. Peter was able to walk on the water because Jesus was there and gave him the ability to do that. If we tried to test God to see if we could walk on the water today, it wouldn't work since Jesus is not physically with us anymore.
So you're right! There is that one example of when it's okay to test God. In the video, I hope it's clear that I meant that we ought not test God to see if He can prove Himself to us.
