I'm a paraplegic and double leg amputee, I've struggled with having the desire to walk like everybody else walks, however, God has revealed to me that the only walking that truly matters is walking in my relationship with Jesus. Of course, my flesh still struggles with wanting to walk, but I am so grateful that the Lord has put on my heart that walking with Jesus is what truly, always matters more. ❤

So, that was a God thing.
These past couple of weeks, I have been intensely struggling with body image/confidence/putting my worth into what a boy thinks of me, etc. And tonight, I asked God, "what do you want from me?"
And then, completely by by God's good will, I clicked on this video. And through you, He told me, "Love yourself the way that I love you. You are VERY good."

Katie I'm also a Christian and I would love to loose some weight but I'm in this and god will give me his grace just to take it one day at a time it's a Christian battle but we have a creator who says keep trying amen

Focusing too much on what other people think about how we look reminds me of this quote from Lecrae: "If you live for their acceptance, you'll die from their rejection."
I'll be completely honest with you, Becca. Before I came to Christ, I would always try to somehow look "good" in the eyes of any guy. If they did get my attention, I would become very prideful and "fulfilled". But after I got saved, I know how useless it is to do that, but I still kinda struggle with it. I am still working on it, and thanks to the help of the Holy Spirit, I'm getting better. And what you said about Jesus being our solid rock is completely you. He loves you so much. No matter what you look like on the inside, and esspecially on the outside. When you truly realize that NOTHING in this world matters more than having Jesus and being right with God, all other things are just forgotten. Anyways, nice video. May God bless you abundantly! I can really see His love radiating through you.

This is the hardest stumbling block for me in my faith. I pray for confidence and to have positive body image, but I still am not there yet. I am thankful for your words and your positivity, and I'm not going to give up!
In the past weeks the Lord has been reminding me. I'm beautiful exactly as I am. I don't have to lose weight or change because right now right here, I am beautiful.
Truth and Downfall "Fat" is a matter of opinion. Beauty is a TRUTH... and just because someone is overweight doesn't make them unhealthy.
Truth and Downfall But the girl is still fearfully and wonderfully made :) the lovely woman just need to be healthy :)

David Anzaldua makeup doesn't send people to hell. Prejudice amd passing judgements does.
Truth and Downfall all mostly facts... however, what God says is final. Period. And not that it's any of your business, but despite being "overweight" all my blood tests and regular health checks are perfect. God made different bodies. I run and am vegetarian. I'm blessed right here, JUST as I am.

Some of them are struggling with their self-image. I don't care how many times I have to say it. I keep saying it and every vein in my body means it. Thank you for your beautiful words. X

i struggle with self image and comparing myself to others a lot and agh, this video was extremely helpful. thank you for making it! when you talked about how God says that we are very good i began to cry. it's so important to know that we are all beautifully created from God's hands and that he made us uniquely. there's a quote i saw and it says, "how cool is it that the same God who created mountains and oceans and galaxies look at you and thought the world needed one of you too." Thank you for this video, I often struggle with comparing myself with others and it always leaves me so angry and frustrated, to the point that I developed an eating disorder.. I was obsessed with being skinny, and calories, and control.. But being reassured about God's love is so .. Refreshing, inspiring, it just calms my anxieties. You have such a refreshing personality, and thank you so much again. Your words were a blessing to me. Its thanks to God, and this supportive-ness, that I have had the strength to battle my mental battles. I'm so glad to be here today .

Thank you for this video. I’ve been struggling with an eating disorder for 8 years now. I accepted Christ after my eating disorder started, but it’s been an ongoing struggle. In January I decided to surrender this to him and to lean on him for strength because I now know that he is enough.
I still mess up some days, but I’m working on turning the lies that have been planted in by brain to truth. Today has been hard. Thanking you for this video. ❤️

I don't struggle with outward stuff so much, but I do struggle with a lot of shame towards my soul- I want my heart to be beautiful, but I struggle with so much sin. In my life i have never really struggled with my image. Only when i got bald at 19 did i wonder about how girls would like me. 5 years later now i am still balding and i can't care less and enjoy seeing people with great hair. God has someone for everyone no matter how you look.
