Always a pleasure to watch you work, Pete. Folks always get freaked out by Virginia creeper. Don’t know why, really, looks much different than poison ivy. I used to get poison ivy really badly as a kid, but like you I learned what it looks like and haven’t had it in decades.
I’ve learned a lot from watching Pete over this past year since I found the channel. Listen to him limb. It’s not zingzing zing zinnnnnng; it’s crack, idle, crack, idle. It’s a pet peeve of mine when guys, even trained loggers, keep revving the trigger between limbs, wasting fuel. I think it makes them feel like their going faster or being more efficient. Cool to see him get into some pine. I’m assuming they’ll go for structural lumber.
Love your channel, Pete. My friend Mark can really cut some trees. He's like a shorter version of you. He's a State Tx employee as was I before I retired. He can really yield a chain saw let alone handle all the thing involved, sharpening, buy chains, rebuilding, etc. He knows how to domino trees...lol Thanks Pete...keep the vids coming my friend.
It’s nice watching you I’m amazed on how much you grew your company.i was running my own logging company with a John Deere 648E hand cutting I had to sell my skidder and stop I didn’t want to but it was stressing my wife out with repairs and fuel bills I wasn’t making enough money
We have huge white pine here in Nova Scotia , Canada . Its not worth much for logs but go try and buy lumber and its worth a fortune . You do need to babysit it if its not cut in the winter or it will blue stain .
Awesome video Pete👍👍👍. I myself believe the GoPro on your helmet just too show different angles and scenes. And the longer videos will be good for your channel. More work for you I’m sure. But it’s taking it up a notch. Thanks Pete.
What will the pine get used for? Apparently you don't develop a resistance to poison ivy. I've never gotten it. It's good to have some latitude with the landowner and forester.
I had 3 White Pines die this spring and cut them down a couple weeks ago. Why do I picture you just like Chevy Chase in the scene in Xmas vacation...You are trying to read the newest Field n Stream magazine and the pages keep sticking to your hands!😂🤣😂
Watching Pete work in the woods is awesome. I hope he gets better.

You're the most knowledgeable timber cutter/chainsaw operator I watch on TH-cam. Thanks for the video.

@@KevinsDisobedience....I agree, the 'burning of extra fuel' is an ego/macho thing. "Some guys just don't get it!"

It’s hard
Nice job Pete! We set on 10 acres in the middle of beautiful pine stand. On the south side ode of the family 110 acre property.
Those were some very nice white pine!!!!
Love watching your work and appreciate/respect your integrity.
Have you ever considered getting a saw mill? It might bring your operation to a whole new level.
I have yes
Awesome job Pete. Hard ass worker!!
Enjoyed the video very nice trees 20:52
Those are nice! We don't have a market for white pine logs in my area down here.....

Nice job nuts, if you ever move up to Stihl saws, and Ford trucks, you may take over the world!
Ha that's a hoot !
Dangerous game you're playing, moving around in the skidder with the saw laying there on the ground. I have lost a few doing that.😅
Lol
Great video buddy really enjoyed it 👍
Not sure if I remember right but I think a Forester told us one time that you could get a rash and itchy from the creeper similar to poison ivy
👍🏻👏
nice sawing.
Looks like some nice cutting I like that if your going to break might as well take it
Lol
Tepat dan akurat arah jatuh kayunya 👍👍
Nice straight Pine Pete.
Virginia Creeper is the correct name for that vine.
Bill
Any of those going to Mark ? Would love to see what they look like coming off the mill
I wish!
Don't know if it's my phone or not, but the windows in the skidder are impossible to see out of.

Amish mill took it so boards probably
Good job Pete. Hate poison ivy too
Oh like to go sick in there with the ol ryans head !
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼
How do you acquire your lumber?
I cut for a mill
I need a truckload of larch sent to Akron Ohio if you get enough.
Don’t have any at the moment
How much is top grade bringing up there? I saw a big local job shutdown mid summer because the price/demand tanked.
Hardwood?
@@nuts319 White pine
@@ricksanchez7459 around .45 to .50 cents a foot
@@nuts319 We're at .34cents. I enjoy your videos. Thank you!
Too bad it’s not hunting season. You just made a food plot with all those long needle limbs
Try backing them up you'll be surprised how many limbs come off
Hey Pete 👋
You might be "nuts319" but you'll be "nuts738" after healing up! Hang in there, trust in God.❤
Ewwww dats nice stuff !
Looks like it’s time for a saw upgrade. Lol no offense but come on man!!
This is a rebuilt one

Wasn’t bad actually
@@nuts319 I was using brake parts cleaner to get the black off of me...🙄
This is why its hard to trust people to come on land and cut trees. Hes taking unmarked trees and cutting saplings... Smh
