I'm loving the direction this channel is heading, Sam. Everything about this video made me miss Thailand immensely. Oh well, 19 days and counting and I'll be back in LOS. Keep it up, this is the content we need.
Once you see REAL Thailand, you will never be the same. I am so happy to see your eyes opening to learn true happiness. Stay on your own path, my brother and remember that it is the path, not the destination.
👍🏼🍻🇦🇺 We go to the one in Udon every year when we are over. It's at the drive way entrance to Central Plaza. Always a great night with alot of friends and family. One of the few nights that I'm happy to sponsor the whole crew .
Glad to see you enjoyed Nakhon Sawan yes it’s people and area is beautiful I’ve spent many years there and travelled its surrounding areas … Safe travels
I remember Nakhon Sawan well...driving from Phuket to Chiang Mai and I had to stop a short-time hotel and sneak my giant dog in there to sleep...what a surprise the staff got when they woke me up the next morning. That crazy farang. Great videos Sam.
Hi Sammie another great vlog thank you I’ve never been to Nakhon Sawan must put on my to do list for next road trip. That Thai night club amazing all the young people enjoying themselves with a proper show and dancing girls and just having fun. Keep up the great work Cheers Irish Paul
@@GoneAdrift "the morning dawns, and the fog lies thick among the mountains, then the mine lady dances, invisible to the naked eye, but with a palpable presence, the mine lady dances..." Its a poem about a swedish folklore story originating as far back as year 1200, and a beautiful woman that watches over the Mountains and the mines. So that no one gets harmed or harms the mountains, she can also present herself as a witch, old man or a bat :)
Sam, loving the new content. It’s actually started inspiring me to do something I’ve wanted to do for quite a while and that’s take a month to just travel. Marked a few new places on my map now too. Well done mate. A big improvement on the apartment vids haha
I really enjoy going to Thai places like this. They certainly know how to have a good time. I've actually grown to like some Thai songs too - even though I don't really understand the words.
the song at minute 3 is such a massive hit in thailand, heard it so much and everywhere when i was there, sometimes i listen to this one to put myself in the mood waiting to come back qand have fun
@@GoneAdrift oh no, "onto the next video..." was talking about me not you. Lol I watched the last 4 in a row and was then going to watch your next video that you had already uploaded. So don't stress, enjoy the experience
That's one large Band with singers they sport at the club. They look busy enough to handle it however. And you were the only Farang in the club, right so they had to investigate 🤣 The Wat was cool and the river footage too.
That’s the stuff you dream about doing on your adventures. Looks amazing there. Definitely put it on the list of places to go exploring. And FYI you gotta stop making us all jealous 😂
Oh I love this party places where they play Thai indie music. So much fun and good music. You find them in Pattaya too where Thai go. I think I need to visit Nakhon Sawan 👍
Yeah exactly the same style concept as how the place was in Pattaya actually pretty fun place to have a drink at and on the plus side they have big bottle beers and what ever U order and don't even open they just give U to take home with U. Great night out something different to the normal Pattaya beer bars
I was with my girlfriend and her "sisters" at Tawandang in Khon Kaen. For a Western European it's an interesting concept but one that takes some getting used to. It was definitely an unforgettable experience.

Great video, what would be the best route to take if you were going to ride from Pattaya mate? Looking at it on google maps it has several ways but want to avoid tolls.
Hey mate, pumping out some good videos lately👍 My wife and I just got back from Bangkok, a female taxi driver we had was watching/listening to TH-cam with the girl in the blue skirt that comes on from 2:25 ‘the Isan banger!’ What is the name of the singer/band??? Got her music in my head, it was 2 hour trip from the airport to Sukhumvit (Traffic🤦♂️) Safe riding mate🤙
Hey Sam, Longtime watcher not real keen on comments, you think wat khiriwong is beautiful? (it is) the most beautiful temple in Thailand is about 2hrs away from Nakhon Sawan in Phetchabun. its called Wat phra Sorn kaew, hope you have time to check it out, but it maybe a bit out of your way. anyway hope you are going to Sukothai on your journey. keep up the great work and enjoy the travel.
+ side note - those little name and face plaques in the temple have bones behind them. basically little crypts for the deceased. each statue is for a family. so those families up there are RICH af.
Damn Sam....Thanks....I miss Tawandaeng so much..always a fun night.... th-cam.com/video/2c6uHkfYDK0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=U-mp0HpgqNDOmpuh - here's a vid of me very drunk but invited up to jam with the band in Udon Thani... Hope you can make it to a local village Morlum Sing show - the many I saw in Ubon Ratchathani were heaps of fun.... Just careful where you go to the bathroom as you might get accosted lol...
Fantastic content Sam, I knew this idea would be a good one, people want to see real Thailand, not just Soi 6.. I know you are in a hurry to get do the border run, but you have all the time in the world to do the return leg... You have an enviable situation, you can, apart from your visa stamp, be and do what ever you like, I have never been to Nakhon Sawan, but I will now but it on the list.. If this is the direction you want to take the channel though, and I think it is a great idea, as there are years of content, consider immersing yourself in a 100-200 hour Thai Language course when you are back in Pattaya, investing in yourself and your ability to converse with people in the country you have chosen to live in, especially once you get out of ex pat centric locations will be really valuable for yourself and the channel. Investing in your self is just as important as investing in your gear ( cameras, bikes.. etc), This is just the beginning of what I feel will be a great direction for you. regardless of TH-cam revenue, you are getting to see places that visitors seldom will see, and you are able to create content in the process. Stay safe out there.

Can I get back to you?

@ sure mate, no hurry….I should’ve asked the female cabbie, she loved it and played the girl in your videos’ live performances the whole trip!

Why is there swedish speaker voice when youre up at the Temple!???
When someone asks if you can speak Thai say ‘pood mai Dai’ or ‘pood nid noi’ 😅
