Wow as always a great informational video. I have never thought about the high rpms keeping the stock bottom end together as beneficial but that makes perfect sense. I thought it was the opposite. Thanks for the clarification that it’s more of 7k-4k to 7k -4k ect Than just the 7000 rpms 👍🏼

We actually had to get sent or go to a books of millions, sit down and actually read to get knowledge on hot ridding and making our cars go fast.
Jegs makes a 4l80e converter for around the same price. If at all possible, I would choose a different turbo than a gt45. 7875 would be so much better.

For a 4.8 L (3350 lbs, 3.73 gear, th400) that also wants to see around 6000 rpm when boost flashes the converter, would you recommend the 3800-4100 Jegs XHD? Or is that too loose on a 750-800 rwhp turbo 4.8? Thanks
I would go with the 60430, which is 3200-3500. It was barely hanging on in the Camaro. It's a turbo car right? Here is the 60430 behind a 4.8 with a GT45. th-cam.com/video/aTxDbb_hBqo/w-d-xo.html

I went with the 3800 stall version of this converter, with a 4.8 I think it should be able to rev to 7200. Do you think it could still meet my goals ?
What are your goals?
Can that Jegs be used on the 4200 with the 4l60e? 4x4 as well?
Unfortunately, the torque converter will only work on a turbo 350/400.
What flex plate do you need to run
