    It would have been nice to hear how the "average bracket racer" would go about selecting a torque converter? Guys like me are not dropping 2 or 3 grand on a converter, so we have to pick from what's available on the marketplace.

    The Grand National shown does not have a lockup converter, it’s just a two speed 400 owned by John Doc and his partner

    Billet stators 11-12 yrs ago. Nobody was doing billet stators back then??? This is incorrect.
