All the facts without the fluff. Thanks Kathy
Fascinating read on economic and corporate data, well done Cathie!
Thank u so much for this video evrymonth i wait for this video
Thanks Cathie. Love listening to you thoughts and opinions.
I love this woman!
Savvy, smart, and open minded; stable in her decisions.
and dumb
He's so happy about the Recession coming in, like he's super excited to be witnessing it.
If I want facts and a balanced analysis, rather than FUD or hype, Cathie is my go-to.
HAHAHA no
I wanted losses. Cathie is my go-to.
Nice hearing Cathie talk about the Global Defense Initiative.
I agree that inflation will come down but oil commodities housing prices i think precludes going to zero by eoy. Always love these updates!
Keep informing us! Thank❤ you
Thanks, Cathie
Thank you Cathie
Anyone have a link of the podcast she referenced ? Thanks in advance
Care to comment on Quantum-Si (ticker QSI)?
Thanks Cathie
Where are the prices coming down at?? Honestly. Not seeing it over here in NC. How bout y’all?
Thank you ❤
Thank you Cathie, i really admire you from Brazil.
Cathie just wondering your thoughts about CrossBorder Capital saying FED has been doing QE in the background since SBV crash in October. Could this be a balancing act for the deflation scenario
Thanks Cathie Wood
What exactly does it mean when you say "Yet to be felt"? What exactly is that mechanism. From personal experience I clearly felt the impact from minute 1.
Cathie is the GOAT !
I wonder if quantum resilience just means we need a whole page of words for our pass phrase and not just 12 or 24 words?
I do like Cathie, and I am looking forward to Black rocks spot, I do believe it will be a quick rise and quick profit before it becomes to heavy.
I love the idea of privatizing the money supply. With the technology we have today all money could be issued by companies who can prove their assets can back their script. The idea of audits taking longer than 1 hour is absurd. We could eliminate fractionalized banking too.
Black rock gang selling tech off earlier only so it can be revived once everything else tanks. This is being done to appear as though we had a soft landing and more traditional valuations. Cathie, love what you do and love your glasses.
Thanks Cathie and you're great Team
worst team in history
Thanks Cathie! As per Michio Kaku Quantum Computing will be far more impactful than AI.
No.
He’s a hack. He thinks the 12,288 higher dimensional vector of the latent space of GPT is a chatbot.
And if you don’t understand what an LLM that can be trained on a QC then go back to listen to that hack.
I wonder how much of the GDP is not accounted for due to people simply not declaring income? Any guesses out there? (from and australian or American perspective)
Who was taking lower margins? @13:00 Pretty sure it's been record profits (aka inflation) over the last 2 years.
Without suppressing oil prices, how can we control inflation? Demand for oil continues to decline as more people buy EVs. The Saudi's continue to restrict supply to keep prices high. Any thoughts?
Are you sure oil use is declining? What is your source for this info? "We think that peak will be before the end of the decade, but just after 2028, so 2029 or 2030, most likely," says Ciarán Healy, an IEA oil market analyst and co-author of the report. "We have this picture of growth, but slowing growth [this decade], and oil staying very significant, but maybe the turning points are in sight."
didn't they also mention about US political gridlocks and polarization, the debt ceiling fight every year? not just the spending...
That was great Cathie. Hope I can shake your hand in person some day
July inflation numbers are out. It is not coming down very quickly as Cathie thinks. Inflation will still be high at the end of this year, certainly no where near zero.
A.I. must integrate with cutting-edge DLT technology such as Hedera as soon as possible.
LongNet paper is all you need.
1 billion token context window is all you need to know.
Think of this. Basically you will speak 2b words your entire life. A token is about 0.75 words.
Imagine a model that can input the internet and seconds later output your prompt. Based on 1b tokens. Which isn’t possible. What is is a continual process within the context window.
❤
I was sceptical of the notion of "deflation" anytime soon. But you seem to be right.
Great video but the reference to Maxine Waters seems to be a mistake - Patrick McHenry is the chair of the house financial services committee and we should all be thankful for that
When you talk about an 18 month lag for margins to contract due to interest rate increases, are you considering the unprecedented productivity increases we're seeing through the use of AI that could offset margin contractions? A friend of mine and my son who are both great reverse engineers told me how what used to take them weeks to do in software development, now takes them about 4 hours. That's a huge leap in productivity that we've never seen before, and I'm guessing AI will impact many other areas as well. As I write this, it also occurs to me that the huge improvements in productivity might cause companies to lay off excess workers which would increase margins even further. What is your take on all this?
Don't the Fed's member banks profit from increased gov securities interests rates?
The data does not support the presumption of a recession in 2023 and a recession in an election year is statistically unlikely. It would be helpful if Cathie would share more of her basis for her recession call.
Thanks Cathie!
I would love to take you out on a date ! Let me know .
😂😂😂
let him cook
You got this bro I believe in you 😅
What recession?
Let’s go. 🎉
Bitcoin is public asset regulated, ia not private juat that is finite, so the universe once on it would continue current communisim but fluctuating quantities on market
Nvta still investable?
I started a position at $1.70 a share and continue to average in. I plan on building/holding that position for a decade +. It all depends on who you ask, though. I’m sure you can find plenty of people who would tell you they’ll go bankrupt. Do your due diligence and decide for yourself.
🎉
maybe fed makes now strict policy just to collect the money (real money becoming from gdp) to prevent the initial "chaos" of AI?
maybe fed plans to give this "government profit" later to the people that are forced to change their jobs and lifes because of the AI and not becoming a "chaos"? maybe we pay the new era in real money (made by gdp) and not (again) by future subsidy..
You are appreciated. You must drive a Tesla because gas is still crazy expensive… how can we get to 2% when big oil has the world in a strangle hold???
the price of gas is more is reflective of the value of the petro dollar which is determined by the government and how well it manages its money supply.
then the politics get involved and restrict oil producing through various social justice causes further increasing the price of gas.
If you own any business, you compete for customers on price. They dont raise prices in a secret meeting to take advantage of tHe WoRLd
Cathie For President 🫡
It's gotta be all up from here right?
why your glasses are always foggy? just curious ...
I will buy back in to ARK ETFs after it looks like a recession is over. I'm not convinced that ARK ETFs will do well during a recession. Game of Trades has a lot of data on Twitter that points to a recession. Crypto is correlated with stocks and stocks are likely to tumble in a recession.
You still may be delayed in getting the actual BTC even though the settlement is irreversible.
People want "Real Time Results" from the Products ARK discusses. Just invest and it's going to sprout like "Jack and the Beanstalk" Not happening.. You're either in or not. Ice T said it this way when asked for a free sample of his music. "If We were somewhere and I was going to sell you hand grenades and you asked to test one, I'm going to say 'No, you either think I have good grenades OR you do not'". The Executive said back to him "You've got good business sense". Ice T replied "I've sold hand grenades before".
funny how cathy is better as a macro investor than a tech one lol
Companies are hoarding labor, give fewer hours, and avoid paying full-time benefits causing people to require 2-3 jobs to pay their basic bills.
In business ... most employers will never accept lower margins. That's just not how humans behave.
its so funny how cathie always gets things wrong lol
Inflation can stay the same if raise prices, to grow and let other produce, creedit is behind inflation, inflation is not down baby because for soft landing prices have to counter the recession of middle class creating more but one that is self enterprise can buy those later, prices and monetary policy is diferent, prices have to grow and rates also till 6 this year to have room in the economy to have free enterprise other wise magnitudes relative to rent and wages will be imposible for competition, inflation is there, jobs are ok is not supply and demand that ia just market clearance peice, equilibrium price have to be achive by maximizing utility, that way everyone can compete,
I’ve a crush on you CW
I don’t share your politics.
But what I’ve learned is I am now a one issue voter.
8-10% for airlines? No, just pilot groups and those raises are spread over 3 years, pretty bush league stuff C.W. Maybe get some analysts who have seen the outside of an office cubicle. 😮
Look at the 5 year curve of ARKK funds. Why does it lose the investors hard earned money? Can you explain it in your video? As an investor, we already pay the investment fee. We hope to gain from the investment. But my investment in ARKK lost more than 75% since 2021. Why tell us there is no bubble in your stocks? But I ended up losing more than 75%.
when arkk back to 100$+? :(
Her target is 400!
never
I agree with Cathie on many fronts. Especially her view on how technology innovations will spur unprecedented productivity gains and solve many problems that are not practical today.
But I strongly disagree with her views on crypto. I wish she isn't as strong in her views on cryptos as she is. I would invest far more on ARK funds if not for the few crypto companies in them.
Perhaps the issues created by unions winning big wage increases could be avoided by a series of smaller ones given as a strategy to protect against those issues. The goggles of capitalism can be removed long enough to avoid their pitfalls.
Government Spending is a little more complicated. You can create growth using spending or you can hamper growth. The chips act is a great example of spending that will lead to growth. Bring back manufacturing is another. Spending on education can go either way. If you enact an “Uncle Sam pays for A’s” then it’s an investment in tomorrows high tech workforce. If you propose free college for everyone then it’s likely to turn college into drunken daycare for young adults on the taxpayers dime.
I think we should get back to nuance in America. The almost brain dead old tropes of spending bad, military good, taxes evil, market is always right, these tropes are filled with problems and to throw them out entirely causes even more problems.
Yup, more cherry picking of the economic data, highlighting small things, avoiding the larger trends, and overall painting a picture that it's never a bad time to invest in ARK funds.
ARK funds that were down 70%?
Cathie Wood for US President 🇺🇸
lol no
Still waiting on the deflation data 😂 Grandma Cathie is going whacko and she needs an intervention
You may want to dump Draft Kings for Penn Entertainment. Their days of advertising on ESPN are numbered.
Loosing money asap in her innovation etf
It's funny that Cathy has nothing to say about the fact that the Republicans... Most notably Tom Emmer who really looks over the Crypto Advisory Board has always on the side of Crypto...notably Decentralized Crypto may have way more to do with Crypto than anybody in Congress...Cathy is a Democtrat & now she's also liking Crypto. She's still a Stock Market person & you should watch her closely because she may bail on Crypto if The Democrats don't want you to get rich.
Nice rbling, but your funds are still down massively. You clearly have bo clue about what's going on
Cathie how much return have you provided so far to the investors? I have made over 100% in last 3 years being a tech investor. You should make me the CEO of your firm and work for me.
Maxine has zero idea about tech yet she holds the pen to legislature 😅
What are these betting markets for LK99? It doesn't sound real, but I know it's real... I know people would gamble on 'research papers' and their legitimacy. I wouldn't place my bets on room temperature superconductors anytime soon. Even if it's real, redesigning quantum computers, mri machines, trains could take decades... Idk dude... where do I go to bet against Einstein's field equations and Newton's fundamental force of gravity..? How long are my odds..? Is it greater than or less than the entropy present around the event horizon of a black hole..?
Fun facts:
5 YEAR PERFORMANCE:
QQQ up 99.32%
ARKF UP 3.49%
ARKG down 1.34%
ARKW down 3.7%
PRNT down 14%
Heck of a job. 😂
So her ETF fell 70% with a 44% recovery and she’s going to guide everyone? Ummm ok. The princess has no clothes.
She keep repeating the same things for 2 years already
I’m first 🎉
🤣
Absolutely no one gives a f**k
Yes, Trump ramps up the national debt by Six Trillion in four years and many people watching this will still vote republican … ASTONISHING STUFF!
you are the textbook definition of brainwashed by mass media, they're both working on the same team behind the curtains, all the headlines, beef they have with one another is to keep naive people like you distracted from their true clandestine intentions, I'm assuming you're not living under a rock as your on the interent but wake up call, our credit just got downgraded and guess when the last time this occurred? Yea 2011 when biden & Obama were in office, btw you should look under the hood as when Obama took office our debt was a couple hundred million, that is combined debt throughout America's existence, he departs office 8 year later and has expanded our debt to a couple trillions lol...man how stupid must you feel right now?
Let's go Brandon 😂
First lol
not so first
Bitcoin is not a good form of money/currency.
Cathy calling for more trickle up economics.
Get a speach coach. Please. Um is not a word.
Speech* terrible.
Cut her hair
“If we are right”… haha, you’re never right not even during the extreme bubble of 2020. Your funds aren’t even nominally at the level of 2018. Lol😅
Still think that Cathie needs to take a speech class.
No gain, no dividends. All we have is paying a high fee and suffering a huge loss since 2021. This ETF is extremely poorly managed. Who takes responsibility for this ETF?
the intro is too long, feels like im watching those balls roll forever, skippy skip
❤
