I think pregnant women are so beautiful. I have the privilege of teaching breastfeeding nutrition therapy to new moms. What a blessing that is. I am going to try the protein powder. I was thrilled to see that it comes in so many flavors!
For folks who eat dairy, I was surprised to learn that cottage cheese has more protein than yogurt. It is a great substitute for recipes that call for ricotta as well, when you want to increase protein without a supplement.
The layout of the new yurt with the entrance looks really good. I like it and can't wait for you guys to get it completed. Really looking forward to the build.

Years ago I grew up in a tar paper house but ours was hung vertically instead of horizontally. The reason was to prevent water from seeping underneath. The top edge was under the eaves with little chance of rain getting under. Each strip overlapped the last strip plus they were tacked down and sealed with tar but sometimes the seams could break open. Eventually we were able to cover it with siding but until that time the tar paper did a good enough job.
Lacey you look good. Don’t let people say negative things to you. You just keep doing your thing and enjoy the good work that Mike and the boys did on that room. I agree it looks fantastic.😊
My dad and I used to have "1 match fire" contests. You had to set a fire from kindling to at least two full sized logs that you could light with a single match. No newspaper or wax, etc. allowed. We'd also see if we could set a fire in our fireplace that would go completely to ash, leaving no charcoal. It taught me how to really build a fire. I know you guys like weird educational ideas, thought you might like this.
Lacey, my last baby was 11lbs, 2oz. and I have a very short torso. I know a lot about carrying big. You aren't carrying any larger than you should. That baby is just the right size. Your belly is beautiful and fills my heart with joy to watch him grow. Most people aren't trying to insult you when you they say things like that, it's generally meant to be a compliment. I know it can be hard to hear it but the intent is to suggest he's healthy. Please try to remember that and let your heart smile with the sentiment.

I got ... are you having triplets? I really wanted to say some real unpleasant things to those people. My baby was 8lbs. 13oz and 22.5" long. He was hugh. I lost most of the weight ...all but 10lbs. I was really big when I was pregnant. When I 2as 6 months pregnant maternity dresses would not go over my belly. Even so I loved being pregnant. Talking to my baby and singing and reading to her. People are going to say things that sting but I think you are totally awesome and beautiful 😍.

Don't worry about what people say everyone is different when caring a baby. Iam 5 2 and i looked like a big hippo and big enough for twins but my babies was 5 and 4 pounds. You look great and you are a beautiful woman and hard working woman. God made us all different. Take care be safe

It might also be nice to have a covered walkway (not necessarily totally enclosed) between the living yurt, with the kitchen, and that pantry room. Hopefully they can start working on that soon. Lacey why don't u connect a hallway in the middle of the 2 yurts. Add a double front door in the middle of hallway 5o enter both yurts. Turn Left it will be ur kitchen, etc. Turn right going to ur bed rooms. Like 2 wheels. O---O like this.. make a small mud room in the same hall. Just a suggestion

a suggestion on the storage shed - put a board band around the top and bottom to hold the uneven boards down so the weather does not get behind and start rot or mold to happen ..

I used left over tar paper (from a porch roofing project) to cover a small toolshed/storage shed I built several years back. I collected (with permission) some lattice from a building site which I stained for the outside. It has held up really well, and best of all, when my perfectionist brother saw the finished product, he said it was beautiful. He and I also built a hot house on the back deck off the kitchen, and I just lay more of this great product on the deck floor to keep the cold air from coming up off the ground. It gets more wear, and I have had to replace some of it, but it lasts 2 or 3 years even with all that goes on in that little room. I think it's great stuff! Yes, it is enjoyable to work with your children. But as someone who worked alongside my dad on various projects as well as with my sons, I can testify that those were some of the happiest moments in my life. I am sure all your children will look back with fond memories on these times spent helping.
Lacey have you tried fermented beets? I love them as does my son and Granddaughter. $2 a day is a good price for a glass of protein a day. $59.99 for 30 servings. I pay that for my quest bars which have undesirable flavors and ingredients. I will have to try this out. I mainly use them to keep blood sugar levels from crashing. Have you tried mixing them up in advance for car trips? Just wondering how they hold up. Working with your children is the best memories. Valuable lessons learned as well as fun too. I was really big when I was pregnant. When I 2as 6 months pregnant maternity dresses would not go over my belly. Even so I loved being pregnant. Talking to my baby and singing and reading to her. People are going to say things that sting but I think you are totally awesome and beautiful 😍.

Lacey you look great just ignore rude people. I got the same comment when I was pregnant, I looked very big and only had small babies as well. People just say what they think to pregnant women and think it ok, people forget there manners.

Don't worry about what people say everyone is different when caring a baby. Iam 5 2 and i looked like a big hippo and big enough for twins but my babies was 5 and 4 pounds. You look great and you are a beautiful woman and hard working woman. God made us all different. Take care be safe

Lacey, thank you so much for the diagram. That explains a lot and I can't wait until they get started on the second yurt. It might also be nice to have a covered walkway (not necessarily totally enclosed) between the living yurt, with the kitchen, and that pantry room. Hopefully they can start working on that soon. It will be a great series to watch!

Lacey why don't u connect a hallway in the middle of the 2 yurts. Add a double front door in the middle of hallway 5o enter both yurts. Turn Left it will be ur kitchen, etc. Turn right going to ur bed rooms. Like 2 wheels. O---O like this.. make a small mud room in the same hall. Just a suggestion

a suggestion on the storage shed - put a board band around the top and bottom to hold the uneven boards down so the weather does not get behind and start rot or mold to happen ..

I used left over tar paper (from a porch roofing project) to cover a small toolshed/storage shed I built several years back. I collected (with permission) some lattice from a building site which I stained for the outside. It has held up really well, and best of all, when my perfectionist brother saw the finished product, he said it was beautiful. He and I also built a hot house on the back deck off the kitchen, and I just lay more of this great product on the deck floor to keep the cold air from coming up off the ground. It gets more wear, and I have had to replace some of it, but it lasts 2 or 3 years even with all that goes on in that little room. I think it's great stuff!
Yes, it is enjoyable to work with your children. But as someone who worked alongside my dad on various projects as well as with my sons, I can testify that those were some of the happiest moments in my life. I am sure all your children will look back with fond memories on these times spent helping.
Lacey have you tried fermented beets? I love them as does my son and Granddaughter.

I mainly use them to keep blood sugar levels from crashing. Have you tried mixing them up in advance for car trips? Just wondering how they hold up.

On car trips I would just bring the dry powder, water, and a good shaker/blender cup. I think this one tastes great mixed with just water.
