Nice build. I know you probably showed how you painted the lettering on the tires but I sure could use a refresher on it. perhaps a separate how to video for us. 😊
As The Malaise Modeler, I love this era truck. Awesome build and you're absolutely right about the switch to GM Corporate Blue engines. It started in 1977 and continued to about 1983 or so.
@@TheAutisticModeler Hi louie, you can speed up drying the decals with the use of a hairdryer, not on heavy heat and maintain a good distance. Then you can clear easy within 1 hour over the decals. Nice result, yes the 80 vibes are here also. Starting this week a restomod 69 camaro, but with the flashy 80,s colors.
Fantastic build ,it came out looking great. The paint scheme and decal look awesome. Do you do any wet sanding between coat of primer and paint? How many coat of paint do you use typically use ?Thanks for sharing. I enjoy your videos.
Very nice, I am in the process of building a sodbuster right now. I built one as a kid and it's nice to be able to build it again.

Although that truck is an '81, your build has a '70s vibe. Very cool, another great build!
Thank you!! I appreciate you watching.
Great build, I would like a time lapse between say decal application and clear coat.
I clear over the decals in about two hours after I apply them. Thanks for watching!! Happy Modeling

I don’t normally sand in between coats unless there is dirt in it. About two coats usually. Thanks for watching
