UPDATE: For the 'Global Shadow Quality' option, now it's possible to put it on 'LOW' and still see the shadows on the floor. They might look a little bit pixelated but it will boost your FPS around 10% :D
Good points. You should have said and what it really is that Aspect Ratio and Resolution are always a personal preference, since it doesen't affect the performance as much like the other detail settings. Also monitor refresh rate should be used based on your PC's performance. It's useless to play with a 540 Hz screen if you have a 100 fps in game and the same goes for playing at 144 Hz while having 300 fps. It is always better to get these two numbers as close as possible to each other because the high refresh rate will only make things smoother if there is enough fps to represent those refreshes. Same goes for capped or uncapped fps. Since your motor skills are fine tuned machines, it is better for them if they have a constant input of frames. So if you run the game at 300 fps but in some cases it drops to 200, then set it to constant 200 because it is better to get used to the constant 200, then the always changing rules. Use the same method for your refresh rate. If you run a 144 Hz monitor cap the fps at 150, so the frames line up with the refresh rate better. Why the extra 5 fps? Because all systems have fps drops in every cycle between 1 and 5 fps dropped, so you need to compensate for that.
When I cap the fps to my monitor’s Hz I notice input lag, that’s why I advise people to do the same I definitely agree that having a monitor with Hz that surpasses your fps is kind of a waste, but having more fps than Hz is always better, especially because the game eventually will demand for resources
I have played CS since 1.5 on a 4:3 ratio with 480*360 resolution, so I don't really care about jagged edges or shadows and all that glitter. In every game I play I always set the video settings the lowest possible for the best performance. Since Source I'm using 1280*960 streched
1280x960 is a nice res, I used to play with that but since I’ve been creating videos for TH-cam I decided to move to 1440x1080 for a better look while recording
FreeSync and G-Sync are essentially the same thing. FreeSync is tailored for AMD GPUs and G-Sync for NVIDIA GPUs. Some monitors can be FreeSync and still be compatible with G-Sync but you have to enable this option on NVIDIA Settings
In-game settings have higher priority than NVIDIA settings, so it's not really necessary. But it could work as a second layer to make sure you have low latency enabled :D
🤷♂️ Maybe, but not in the near future. I think their main focus right now is on the cheater problem. If they can fix it, that would bring people back to the game as you have no idea.
=RTX 4060 Ti : i7 14700KF.. thats my setup ok and after updates i got sudden lagspikes .. what is going on with this game can anyone help please? i wanna run it smoothly like before
Something that could help is to: 1. Update graphics card drivers 2. Verify integrity of game files (on Steam) If this doesn't solve it, always go to reddit /cs2 or /GlobalOffensive and post your problem. Maybe there's someone who can help you :D
It could be different things Do you have a low resolution in-game? Did you copy the settings from the video or chose something lower? I have a 3060Ti and it doesn't look grainy at all
@@CS2_MastermindD thank you for your reply, i have 1920x1080! I did copy settings but still it has weird black dots in smokes especially if i drop smoke on light! I updated graphics driver too, tried different setting but nothing helps.

Everything explained perfectly. You deserve more subs
Thank you man :D
I'll keep posting more videos about CS2, stay tuned!

presentation, it is effective and easy to understand. Good job bro,

Hi, great video, I have a question. can my monitor only have freesync premium but compatible gsync cause input lag if both are switched on?
FreeSync and G-Sync are essentially the same thing. FreeSync is tailored for AMD GPUs and G-Sync for NVIDIA GPUs.
Some monitors can be FreeSync and still be compatible with G-Sync but you have to enable this option on NVIDIA Settings
And no, having G-Sync will not cause input lag, V-Sync is the one that causes that 🤙🏼
@CS2_MastermindD I understand bro, but my question is, do I have to turn on free sync on my monitor for g sync to work?
Yes, you have to
@@CS2_MastermindD thank u i love u 😘
Good guide. Very concise and easy to understand.

ima keep a buck i came here to copy and just move on but stayed for the explanation because of how you dumb it down
Thank you man :D
I try to explain as clear as possible so people see why this can be a good setting

Yes, these settings are perfect for that graphics card 😃
@@CS2_MastermindD tnx mate, have nice saturday 🙏

Those are the settings I use and the game feels really smooth :D
should i use gsync?
Yes, it's recommended to use G-Sync for a smoother experience :D

Try playing with different values for:
- Model / Texture Detail
- Multisampling Anti-Aliasing Mode
