- We met Chris Aiff a little more than a year ago and shared his story: • Meet Christopher, focu... . Chris taught us that happiness is not a limited resource.
Sadly, Chris passed away in May 2014. This video was made at a time when Chris's health was waning, and the Aiff family was dealing with the medical care. Chris's friends and independent donors helped make this video possible. We wanted Chris and his family to know that their outstanding medical bills would be taken care of, so they were able to spend time together before his passing.

I couldn't believe that man talking about how tired he was was Christopher, I thought it must be his brother or something, he looked so different and so much...sicker. Seems like such a wonderful man, approaching all of this with such acceptance and resolve.
RIP Chris. Your pain is over and now you can be at peace after your long battle. Thank you for ur positive outlook and sharing ur story.
I didn't notice I was crying, I got caught up thinking of how beautiful he is.

Susdenly all my troubles seem so, so small.
His eyes are so incredible. It's like you can feel everything he feels and has lived through, both good and bad. I could stare into those eyes for an eternity. His story has touched my life, and I can only hope to live and love in the same quality he has, and to fulfill that purpose he has given to those affected by him.

Thanks guys for a beautiful tribute to a brave young man. Zach Sobiech was another such blessed pilgrim who touched the lives of many who reached out to him. Wish well the many young people facing an untimely death without such support and love being shown to them and their families. Reach out and touch somebody - anybody.

When dear Chris dies, it's not only a new beginning for his friends, but for himself as well. Ulcerative colitis and Colon cancer took me when I was 21, after my colon ruptured. I was clinically dead for two minutes, and I did get to go to heaven, I first saw myself laying on the OR table as doctors frantically tried bringing me back, but was then surrounded by the deepest love, peace, joy, contentment and every positive emotion you can imagine. I was surrounded by a pure, beautiful white light, and suddenly saw my grandpa (he died when I was 8). He hugged me for what felt like an eternity, but told me I had to go back. I didn't want to go, I was in so much pain, and faced a very long and difficult recovery, but in a nanosecond I awoke in the OR recovery. It was a blessed event in my life (I'm now 47), I no longer fear death, because I know, for certain, we go on, that death is only the end of one life, but the start of another one, devoid of pain, one that I look forward to.

Hear oh Israel our lord God is one. Jesus is God manifest . One God you can’t separate them. God is a spirit, Jesus is the body if I am explaining this right. It’s good to love and be kind. Don’t forget to repent and be baptized in Jesus name and you will receive his spirit. No one can see God’s face the glory will kill you.
Chris, I watched your story last year at the same time I watched Zach Sobiech's story, and you both were very inspirational then, as Chris, you still are now. I always kept your quote "Happiness is not a limited resource" close to my daily thoughts, and have applied it to my life; even when it seems impossible to smile. For two beautiful, young men to both have to go through this is heart breaking for me (a stranger to you), but your wisdom and love shines so deeply, and outwardly, that, I am inspired to live on, as authentic and positive as I can for myself, and others around me. Please know that you touched millions of souls here while on Earth. And your spirit will continue to touch others while in heaven. You have my deepest sympathy for your physical pain, and my highest gratitude for your example of strength and love.

I am a 57 year old woman who has just experienced the death of a loved one for the first time in my life. I am so inspired by your words Chris. Although I cannot financially donate, I want you to KNOW your happiness has touched my grief and sadness and you are wise beyond your years. You are blessed with wonderful parents and dear friends. Life is so fragile. From this moment on, I am vowing to live mine with gratitude and joy. God bless you, your parents and your friends. It is as if every word spoken in this video is a quote to be memorized and emblazoned on one's heart. To all of Chris's loved ones in this video.... thank you...... I am deeply touched by each of you..... May your hearts be filled with beautiful memories of your Chris and may his name be spoken often.
To everyone who say that money means more than prayer, understand that if someone had money to give but didnt care enough that he/she chose to say "I will send prayers instead"... then yes, money is better than [that person's] prayer. But unless you know for sure that thats what the situation is, I think its not right to say something like that... I understand the frustration of being on the recieving side of this and shouting out that money will give you or a loved one a few more days to live and not something intangible like "prayer". I understand why it would frustrate someone so, but I feel the segregation [if any] should be between people who care and people who dont...not between people who "give" and people who cant.
Love is always Love... whether thats packaged in terms of financial or spiritual help.
Oh Chris. I am so sorry you had to go through this. Rest in peace young man. I am inspired by your story. When my time comes, I will face it head-on, because of you. RIP

I was only able to contribute a small amount, but it was given with love. I shared Chris's story with my family and friends last year; I will be sharing this update with them and I hope that they, too, will be inspired to help.

I happened to see this when I was in my office, feeling so tired after a hard working day...And now I feel so small, so ashamed that sometimes, I did not feel blessed or feel grateful for what I am having, but blaming on my life for not bringing everything to me...Now you taught me that LIFE is the most important thing in this world.

Although he may never see my wishes, I want to tell you Chris, that you have inspired me. The saddest part of our lives is that the most real, the most human, the most caring people, always leave us before their time. It seems the best of us die first, because it is in our own mortality we find our passion for others. To spread a smile and be remembered fondly. Know that I won't forget you, Chris, and even though we will never meet, you will always exist in my mind. Thank you for being strong when nature turned against you.

I am so grateful to have come across this video because it has really opened up my eyes about life in general… I may not know Chris personally but I feel a connection to him anyway; just his presence sends off a positive vibe and has a positive effect on people and it's safe to say that he is a gentle soul who I am sure has touched the lives of not only the people close to him but whoever else he encounters. I have been deeply touched by his message, this was an outstandingly moving clip and I certainly hope others will be inspired by his yearn to live. Oh my God this makes me so sad, I guess because I lost my son too. I miss him so much.. and this is just heart braking for the mom and dad here as well for Chris.. I hate that he has suffered. My son past in car accident and I didn't get to say bye and I keep thinking I will see him waiting on him, it is shocking. But I feel no matter how they pass it is awful to bury your child.. Please everyone love like there is no tomorrow

I just found your videos a few days ago. As a breast cancer survivor, I must admit I bawled through some of these stories 😢. I also fell in love with Christopher as soon as I heard him speak in his video. What a beautiful soul ❤️. I am married with 3 young children. I live in a trailer and they cut out my EBT. I am limited in what I can do financially. Sometimes praying is the only tool in my belt.
Hello Chris Aiff. I just wanna say live your life as best as you can, smile, lough, watch something funny and be happy. No one really know if you will die in that time or not so just keep up and don't give up.

I don't know you personly,but I love you Chris. Three of my siblings passed away because of horrible diseases and I know others who have passed because of diseases. Your one of the bravest people that I know of. Your message is beautiful. It makes me angry knowing that there are people who are not appreciative and respectful,ect; who have chances to get through an illness or other things and they don't live with greatfullness. When there are beautiful,brave,loving,greatful people like you who go through the unimaginable and who don't get another chance,who aren't saved.
