i have a set pretty happy. Large room on stands replacing a sound bar I've run them with and without a sub and for the room size we need one. Arc is working well although I do have a stutter from samsung frame TV and fire stick both set to PCM. I'm going to try a few more HDMI sources before I blame the speakers. I also have them setup to a PI 3 via via USB power port and usb-c using them to stream Spotify via volumio and they work and sound great hence why I'm leaning towards a TV issue.
Trying to decide if I'm willing to give up the virtual-soundstage of a Sonos Ultra to go with these for better music listening, at a much lower price point.
@ I don’t yet, but the Sonos Ultra in white would fit like a glove on my entertainment cabinet. I have the Kanto REN ordered for pickup this week, and likely will refund my money to get the Sonos.
Wow thats a tough one! I think now that the REN is out you give it a try, You also get a remote with the rens that has lots of eq adjustments so I would mess with those.
@@WaltsTV yes Ren is an interesting acoustics, Ren looks more interesting and modern than Klipsch) I will think about it, thanks for the quick reply! Greetings from Kyiv, Ukraine!)😊
@@WaltsTV thank you walts taking time to respond. After searching i ended up buying Vanatoo Transparent zero plus with $130 discount black friday sale.. excited after all the great reviews across the board.
Definitely the ORA4. I have a pair on either side of my 27" monitor. They should be placed 8" - 10" from the back wall. And DEFINITELY buy the Kanto SP6HD or SP9 stands, whichever positions the tweeter level with your ears. Don't use the C-Shaped stands. They're too flimsy and position the woofer too close to the desk which will cause resonance and distortion. When I first got the ORA4s, they sounded awful - boomy bass that masked the midrange and treble. But after 20 hours of break-in, they sounded awesome, especially for the money.
How does it compare to the older Tuk?

Could be for sure, glad you are enjoying the sound! and yeah I really like having that sub.
How do they compare to YU6 sound wise, not taking into consideration connectivity upgrades?
Better, more soundstage, However the real focus is the connectivity at the end of the day.
Hi I'm new to better audio set ups and looking at these but why does the sub have a left and right input?
How's the tweeter hiss? These look nice for desktop/near-field, but I'm pretty sensitive to hiss.
I didn't really notice a hiss, but with the remote you can tune the sound to how you want it.
does this support dolby atmos if it is ever expanded to include rear or ceiling add ons
No, it cant really be expanded as the "receiver" is built in.
@@WaltsTV i see, so i guess soundbars have that as an advantage then the ones that come with multiple speakers

Do you already have a sonos Ultra?? if you do I wouldn't throw it out, why not have both?!

Hi! Good review! I’m choosing between REN and the popular Klipsch the five for a room of 16 sq.m. for a TV, which ones do you recommend?

Will you do Ren vs Tuk?
probably not because they are completely different tweeters and a different sound.
The bluetooth 5.3 is also cool
yes! gotta love updated bluetooth!
Great review! This against the Audioengine A5+ how would they compare?
Thanks! And I have not heard the Audioengines but so far im a huge fan of what Kanto has done with their powered speakers!
is kanto ora better sound then ren for desktop sepakers?
For desktops if you want something similar but better for desktops I would go for the oras or ora4s

I just can't get over what he did to his father in The Force Awakens.
Agreed!
