Alfa obd is a better and cheaper way guys ,still have to buy a by pass cable but you save money going with Alfa ,and some dealers won’t do the reprogram as I found out also need you key pin from dealer as well .
chris pitts If I hand Alphaobd to someone, it is not a straightforward operation, and can cause damage if used by someone that doesn’t know what they’re doing. The Procal is much simpler. Most dealerships are familiar with AEV products, or can figure out the simple instructions,. You have to make a trip to the dealership to get the PIN anyway, so having them flash in the PIN to finalize the TPMS setting is not an onerous task. The other functions of the Procal do not require any dealer interaction.
Rhinopkc true can definitely do harm if you don’t know what your doin ,but some dealers won’t do it cause that was my issue so I had figure out on my own
Alphaobd Mx+ will do the same thing there's several TH-cam videos showing you how to do this or in some cases the lift shops or tire shops that done your lift or tires will do this for a fee
I have a 2013 dodge 2500 Cummins tradesman! I bought it with 37” tires on it and I cannot get the TPMS light to stay off after reset with my FoX530 scanner. Also the speedometer is 10mph off. Any suggestions?
I get it y’all are in business to make money selling stuff but AlfaOBD is much simpler, does all that same stuff and more and doesn’t require a trip to dealer for a reflash after TPMS setting is changed. You just gotta get your 4 digit pin# from the dealer parts counter. Amazing Android app for $50. Still need the bypass harness on 2018 and up.
Also, for someone who is not very computer literate, the AEV ProCal is much simpler. I was skeptical at first myself, but it is extremely simple to operate and doesn't require OBD2 adapters, a laptop, etc.
It will not allow you to rest the radial hub which controls your TPMS sensor threshold. All it will let you do is change the numbers but you will still have the flashing crap every time. And good luck finding a dealer ANYWHERE that will know what you are talking about and will help. NOT one dealing in the Denver area had a clue what to do or was willing to help.
I can't believe that my RAM dealer will not change my TPMS settings or tire size!! Thanks for this. BUT, I have a 2019 2500, guess I'll be waiting for an update. :(
We're patiently waiting to see who brings a good at home 2019+ Ram solution to market first. The electronics on those trucks don't make it easy. Even doing it with the computer at our shop was a tricky learning process!
In this video for adjustibg tire pressure setting for larger tires to buy this $120+ procal tool plus take that info to the dealership so they can follow the directions and fix it? All dealerships require their own diagnostic. Tpms sensors are no different. What their diagnostic tool says. Thats what they do. You save no time nor money buying this procal and taking your data to a dealer. You will still need an appt. The service advisor has to check in the vehicle and try to sell you any maintenance then go park the truck in the back. Until days later a tech can touch it. I swap new trucks every 2 years. Last 3 have been RAMS. Worst service outa all brands. Before that Denalis and Chevys. GM has the best sevice at any dealership. Still you show up with your procal data thinking you're going to save money, time, etc youre dilusional. If your truck is still under warranty RAM dealership and show up with your procal data. Can void your warranty on the specific item you need help with if you a non certified mechanic tampered with the system. No warranty left, why take it to the dealership? I watched this video for actual help with a tpms monitor. The advice is to buy this tool that cannot fix it. Take the data to a dealer so they can flash it/fix it. Take it to a dealer? Very knowledgeable advice. Why doesnt any one else think of that?
What up . I’m only subscribing because of the ram content everything else is a plus👍
Offer anything for 10-12 trucks?
Any idea where or how I can find the video for Ford trucks? Been looking and looking and can’t find it.
You'll be using a program called ForScan to make that happen. Check on the forums and you'll find lots of how tos!

You need to use either an AEV Pro Cal, or Alpha OBD.
Any advice for 2019 power wagons?
Joseph Di Vincenzo AlfaOBD and a gateway bypass. Just TH-cam search AlfaOBD
I have a 2022 Ram 2500 Limited will this work on my Truck?
You need this module: www.cjcoffroad.com/products/procal-snap-for-2019-hd-ram?_pos=1&_sid=2f0bbd191&_ss=r

Agreed. AlfaOBD is overall better and can do a shit ton more.
There’s lots of other options, we just get a ton of questions about this AEV system so we wanted to make a video about it!
CJC Off Road I get it don’t get me wrong AEV Procal is a quality product just think it’s overpriced for what it does
Also, for someone who is not very computer literate, the AEV ProCal is much simpler. I was skeptical at first myself, but it is extremely simple to operate and doesn't require OBD2 adapters, a laptop, etc.
There is an app to pull your pin. No dealer needed.
There is a 13-17 option and an 18 option for years. Is there a different link for the pre 2013 trucks?
For those years AlphaOBD is going to be the product of choice!
Can the Procal be removed from the OBD2 after changes or must it remain connected?
It is removed after the change is saved
I can’t find a dealer in South Florida willing to work with me on this.
we've never had an issue near us! just call around and explain what you need. Like others mentioned you can also use AlphaOBD too.
Alfa obd look it up on you tube that’s what I had to get for my truck dealer wouldn’t do it as well
Has anyone got the U1439 code?
Z Automotive Tazer will also work but it's expensive.
You say 2014-18 model years. What about 2013? Mine has Tpms?
AlphaOBD should get the job done!

AEV provides written instructions to hand to your dealer that makes the process go smoothly!

Any info on the 19+ trucks??
Any update on the new gen rams?
