After trashing my Sean Wotherspoon Air Maxes, it was time to bring them back to life. This pair is particularly tricky because the uppers are fragile. In this restoration, we cover how to safely clean and restore the uppers, remove creasing, as well as how to color match the midsole for touch ups.

I recommend a second bowel to rinse the dirty water out the brush, it stops the clean water getting dirty

To extend the life of the outsole you could add sole protectors? Fyi I'd use a fine hair/beard trimmer
to remove unwanted fraying. Also generally speaking be cautious when
using a magic eraser on a painted area. They can remove paint if used to aggressively. Peace Y'all

Generally just room temp. I've experimented with hot vs cold with mixed results so I've found it safest to just keep it room temp. When working with Vinegar for stains, I will use cold water only but that is a rare case.

Just found your channel today. Do you have a videos on how to fade laces? (i.e. og royal 1 laces that are faded)
Not yet but I can do one. It's a little tricky with the newer Nike/Jordan laces. They don't like to fade out easily.

3. One website said to soak sneakers first but that seemed wicked dumb so I didn't and I saw you used oxyclean and that makes more sense to me, so I used "Resolve Spot + Stain For Newer-Looking Carpets Carpet Cleaner" which maybe was dumb but I'm desperate. BEFORE that I got a soft brush and brushed the dirt I could get off with the grain. Then I made sure to brush the dirt off of that brush and used it to brush with the grain the dirt of when the carpet cleaner was on. It's kinda working but not the results I thought. They were brand new and all light colors. I'm so upset I think I might buy a new pair. Idek or send them to someone to clean.
4. ADVICE: If you drink like I drink (ALOT) and find urself waking up in a bunch of thorn bushes next to a bridge in the middle of the night surrounded by trash and shit like that.... DONT WEAR UR NEW SNEAKERS. PICK A PAIR OF SNEAKERS AND WEAR THOSE EVERY TIME lmao🤣 but rlly tho 😖😩😫😡🤬

Bro I like ur work but them shoes wasnt hard to clean they wasnt even that dirt bro u could stuff the shoes with socks so no wrinkles in the fabric throw in washing machine on delicate take out wash take socks out let dry for a day or so no wrinkles no harm I've made shoes that were filthy to looking brand new and dont forget oxy clean in washing machine
