Also, excellent tutorial, thank you so much. People moan about the cost of reels, when you see how much precision engineering goes into making them then I can justify the money spent when purchasing one.

You're welcome and thanks again for watching! It would stand to reason that people would take better care of them since they cost so much, but.... such is life, and... it keeps me in business.

:) Thanks! Although I don't know what minute of the video that section was at, I'm sorry to hear your prayers weren't answered. Feel free to let me know and I can advise you on a strategy. Spread the word about the channel.

I'm high as a kite and can't imagine how this much labor is acceptable for a $150 reel. I've tried so many times to justify this video 😭😭

This is great for a diy-er but for me gives me a reason to buy a new reel😂

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Sadly, that useful tool is not currently being made.... cost and sourcing issues. Hit the thumbs up and spread the word about the channel.

@@TSGReelService yes haha I got the reel when I was a teenager with no knowledge of how to service the reel Lol.

I get you. You must no longer be a teenager, based on your reference, so it's impressive that it lasted as long as it did.

@@TSGReelService oh it really is haha. I got it in 2014(?) and used it heavily in salt water and some how it’s still kicking. Caught some of my biggest gar on it this year and just spooled it up for the winter catfish bite. It’s not super smooth, but it still works surprisingly well
