Hi Pam & Erica, Great show very inspiring, were all now heading into September weather is much breezier, cooling down this is my kind of weather. I am getting ready to start my temperature quilt top downloaded and printed out the temperature quilt chart. I have all my half square triangles all cut up, using the 8" cube, also the two and half strip Die. Erica that storage bin is a great idea, I just purchase a set on Amazon, It looks like a lot of fun, keep you posted on how it's coming along. Keep up the great fantastic works ladies. 🥰😍🤩
Enjoyed the show. I’ve been making my temperature quilt this year using the square in a square block from the 6 in cube. The inside is the high and outside is the low. I debated about using the outside hsts to indicate sun, rain, etc. but went simple in the end.
My temperature quilt is inspired by my guild's challenge this year, “Colors of Dixie”. Southern Utah was settled by hard-working pioneers, and my basic fabric will be recycled denim, sashed with temp-coded colorful strips, in the stained-glass style. This technique eliminates the danger of broken machine needles, because there are no denim-to-denim seams! The design will feature 12 large traditional quilt blocks, one per month. I hope some of you can picture my concept in your minds!😅
I'm afraid we don't have retail space at our offices, but we do have a few retailers in the Omaha area! Simply enter your zip code into the Store Locator and it will show you which ones are closest to you! :) learn.accuquilt.com/locate-a-store

What a wonderful idea! We hope you'll post a photo of your finished work.
Your quilts are adorable! Mine wouldn’t be as nice as it’s about 80 degrees in Florida most days!
I signed up for today and then my workday went sideways. I’m finally sitting down with a cocktail at 8:30 - so happy to enjoy this now!
Cheers! 🍹
You could also do a comparison/contrast quilt of highs in your location vs a friend across country or even a DIFFERENT country.

You could do a high and low as each tumbler paired makes a block
Fantastic idea!
I’ve knitted one, but haven’t thought to quilt one. Sounds neat. Do you have a store in Omaha? I’m in the area.

@@accuquilt do you have a shop at the Omaha location? It would be easy for me to come pick stuff out, instead of paying postage lol
