Thank You for sharing the quilts with all of us. I was told by a friend that you showed my tops in this installment of done and ready to go. Thanks to David for making each one unique as the ladies are all one of a kind. God Bless your team.
WOW, all the quilts were so pretty. I really enjoyed the trunk show. This is what I love most about the quilting community at large: generosity of spirit, kindness to others, inclusivity, and positivity. That is why I so enjoy Corey's videos and fellow quilters.
Quilter’s are sew generous. Thank you on behalf of the recipients to all the quilters who donated their quilts to Corey’s charity. And to Corey for finishing those tops and David for the beautiful quilting.
What a blessing to the women who will receive them. Thank you, Corey for the great idea, Ryan for your filming and editing work, David for your quilting expertise and all of the donors who sent in those beautiful works of art. Love your generosity!
Hi Corey! Thank you for showing all the pretty quilts that were sent in for the girls. I know they will feel loved from these quilted ‘hugs’ that were made with love.❤️ Thank you for letting us participate in this very worthy cause.
Thank you Corey for sharing these beautiful quilts with us. What a worthy cause for quilters to donate their wonderful quilts and quilt tops. Now I also need to go check out the pattern suggestions you received. See you next time.
This is heartwarming….there are really good people in this world, and most of them are QUILTERS!😉🥰. Loved all of them, Ive chosen a few of them to get the patterns and use up fabric out of my own stash! Thank you for all you do❤
What a blessing by everyone! Great job everyone! And thank you for showing all the quilts, quilting, backings and bindings. I always knew the quilting community is the best group around!
@@CorianderQuilts yes! I don’t have any friends that quilt so I have felt a little alone in my adventure. I lost my mind and bought a longarm machine last week and have the sweetest group that have welcomed me with open arms. I have always loved watching your videos. You have such a happy, giving spirit and it shows. Thank you for all you do for all of us!
You make lovely quilts and I enjoy seeing them very much and quilt donations are a wonderful thing. I do learn a lot from your tutorials. However in the real world there are a lot of us that do not have access to any and all types of fabric to choose from in such quantities. Just a passing thought. Great channel.
Question: On the quilts where you used the Fireside natural backing fabric. … were those quilts all smaller in size, or did you piece together the backing to get more than 60”? I’m curious bc I have found using a minky for backing on larger quilts makes for a pretty heavy quilt and wondered if you did that. ?? Thanks! All beautiful quilts!!!❤
The ones with the Fireside backing were smaller quilts where I could use the 60" without piecing the backing. The ones with the other minky fabric were larger quilts and that minky was a 90" wide backing. I have pieced minky but I don't prefer to do so. Minky does make for a heavier quilt. If you watched any of my videos last year where I was chatting about my hymn quilt..that quilt was a larger quilt (and I used fusible innerfacing on those blocks making it a heavier quilt top) you might remember me talking about how heavy minky can get. We opted to use a bamboo batting to lighten that quilt up a bit. It just depends if you want the weight or not.
Yes!..generally an 80/20 low loft blend but I've also used bamboo on a larger quilt so it wouldn't get quite as heavy. Just depends on how warm/thick you want it to be!
I love that so many people care about others and helping them. How wonderful and Godly. Thank you Corey 💜
I had so many helping hands on this project!
Thank you, Corey for sharing these gorgeous quilts donated by such talented quilt makers.

You're welcome!....it was a fun trunk show to share!
Loved
Thank you for watching!
Loved the trunk show! When you use minky fabric as your backing do you still use batting? Thanks!
Yes I do! I chatted a bit about using minky in this video: th-cam.com/video/qzRTtV321nA/w-d-xo.html
Question: On the quilts where you used the Fireside natural backing fabric.

This was a fun trunk show. I like this Moda Minky. How long has Moda offered this?
Thank you for quilting so many of them! I think the Fireside is newer but I can't say for sure when they started carrying it.
When you use Minky as a quilt backing do you also use batting?
Yes!..I answered a few different questions on using minky for backing in this video: th-cam.com/video/qzRTtV321nA/w-d-xo.html
Do you use batting with the fireside? If so, what kind do you recommend?
Yes!..generally an 80/20 low loft blend but I've also used bamboo on a larger quilt so it wouldn't get quite as heavy. Just depends on how warm/thick you want it to be!
Where can I find the name and patterns for these quilt?
Because all of the quilts in this video were made and donated by other quilters, I don’t have quilt pattern information.
