Great video......many thanks, ive a taski euro disc unit and would love to use it for carpet cleaning as im never completely happy with my small extraction unit. Again thanks
At dryextraction carpet cleaning in las vegas we use a carbonated solution to lift all the dirt. if need be we add a citrus base cleaner to brake down the greese and oil.
Spends a lot on video production. Very helpful when I was purchasing bonnets. However, when I emailed a question regarding using pads I already had and wasn't going to buy pads I never received an answer to my question. My opinion is he responds only when you are making a purchase.
I checked out your video clip about carpet cleaning maintenance. I am considerably new with my carpet cleaning enterprise so I've definitely never heard of Surround. It sounds like you've had considerable success with it. Do you mind if I ask you how much time you've been working in the industry?
I am a big fan of Bonnet Pro's bonnets and the chems i've used so far. As a long time big machine hwe guy of 18 years i've only recently added encap and bonnet cleaning. I've actually witnessed better jobs using my 175 and Iron Man bonnets over my HM Titan truckmount.
I hate carpet bonnets, We used to use them at work where thousands go through the building each day. Yea, I said thousands because I work at a theme park. We did not use the same brand of chemicals as they do here. Bonnets are for surface cleaning but it tends to leave chemicals in the carpet. After enough times using a bonnet, the carpet begins to smell from the left over chemicals. Also where do you think the dirt that the bonnet doesn't get goes? deeper into the carpet. The best method of carpet cleaning is using a walk behind extractor or better yet a trailer mounted steam extractor using a rotary machine. I cleaned carpets for years and extraction is the best method of cleaning. Our supervisors finally came to the conclusion that extraction did result in best results. One more thing, even when wet, damp or whatever, what happens when you have fiber rubbing on fiber, it wears out, especially the carpet. Yes it does take time but it does wear the carpet out faster.
Felipe Moreno That's what we do now, for the past 6 or 7 years. We also been using extractors between steam cleaning. Bonnets even for maint. does more damage in the long run.
putting the bonnets in a washer with hot water is like hot water extraction with agitation, why not just clean the bonnets by rubbing encap across the surface with a rag? lol
Basicly an extremely overpriced 175. Anyone buying this thing for $3,750 is basically over paying by $3,000 for a 175. Call powrflite and buy a 175. Hilarious to think that people are dumb enough to fall for this scam.
Surround encap cleaner smells great, unfortunately it drys like concrete in the carpet and will not rinse out latter with HWE. Once you put it into a carpet you have ruined the carpet.
I can’t imagine wanting that type of cleaning in my house. We all know water is the best cleaner that’s why we shower and not rub soap on us and walk away. So why do this to our carpets ?
Your vacuum the remaining crystals post-encap. Much cleaner carpet, even appearance, and faster dry time. I'm not a pro, but that's what I'm gathering about VLM in general.

Bonnet Cleaning is good for maintenance. In your case, the carpets should had been steam clean with a truckmount every couple of months.
