I have a cousin who years ago traveled to a few South American countries for a few months with only 500 dollars in his pocket . I asked how it was possible for him to do it when I usually spend more just for myself in a week when i go away . He said he did odd jobs here and there and he found that the poorest of all the people he met helped him the most . He told me they would let him stay a night with them and feed him even though some of them didn't have enough food for themselves
Don't let it break your heart, poor people can be some of the most kind, loving individuals among us. he knew what he was doing, he was operating from a place of love.
Of course these are all actors. I’m John Kenquioes” do who are you, no one knows who you are. Lol and it isn’t exactly what happened as you said!John Quinoises, wow, haha.
I have to be honest... The "What Would You Do" I watched before this was about African Americans being racially profiled as people who steal from high end stores. *Never in my life have I met a fellow human being with more melanin than me who would not give me anything they had to make sure I was okay.*
I work in retail and Ill either pay for it if it's cheap, if it's a lot I'll help them how I can? I don't know anyone who is actually mean to people buying food ahaha
@@EVERGLOW828 ...may you also have a VERY RICH reward in Heaven. People like myself were all moved by that man's largesse; but I'm equally moved by your understanding. Thank you...

You do know we are only talking about ILLEGAL immigrants, not all immigrants, especially not all minorities, right? Otherwise, why are black people and Hispanic red votes the highest in years for Trump?
as a cashier, the sweetest thing i ever witnessed was a woman who could not pay for her $75 worth of items because her card was not working. she was just going to leave her items but the sweet customer behind her paid for it and didn’t want to be repaid. made my day❤️
This makes me cry. As a cashier, I witnessed a single father (a deaf man) who didn't have enough on his food stamps. So he paid for what he could get. Then the people behind him paid for the rest. I ran to him and handed him the bags. He looked at me and shook his head. I pointed at the people who paid. He bust out crying and went up to the people who paid and hugged them
Sure not enough to live on for a single male I get $10.00 & some months it's up as high as $78.00 i am dealing with a server back and hip pain so yeah I look healthy on outside so I even get judged.. Read my comment and what I went through.. this happened even when i had enough on my card and transaction was being slow / delayed so it held up the line for awhile had to swipe my card 2 times and it was said aloud oh that is a ebt card from the cashier so everyone in line heard it ..and that is when I heard what I did
I was in a horrible car accident and I have titanium plates in my leg , I couldn’t walk for 6 months and was in and out of rehab to learn to walk. I’m 35 and now will always have major problems and pain in my leg so I had to stop doing my job where I was a CNA home care so elderly people can live independently and not go into the nursing home. After my accident I went on disability temporarily because I couldn’t walk and I only got 250$ a month. And I have 3 kids. What a struggle and I couldn’t do anything about it. I couldn’t use my leg for a long time where even if I wanted to suck it up I couldn’t go to work. There’s nothing I could do whatsoever. We struggled. So definitely agree with your statement and things are changing now with government assistance. It’s getting tougher to get on
@Akash Guha Thakurata do you mean that the original commenter is like Bernie Sanders, in that she's calling out systemic abuses of power by the power-elite? Or Are you saying that Bernie Sanders is one such rich person who is taking advantage of the system? -----------------------------------------------------------
The nurse lady got me all emotional. In 2013 I was living a very normal life, with a teaching job overseas that paid very well. - I got sick. Was advised by doctors to consider going home. - I went home. Was diagnosed with cancer. Was NOT given a good chance of survival. Made it through all of my 35 treatments. Had to on Medicare If it wasn’t for government assistance, I would not have made it out alive. (Well that, friends, family, medical science, God, etc) Now I’m coming up on NINE years cancer free, I have a fantastic job that meets all my needs. Life is good. I’ll never look back at that season and allow shame to interfere. I’m grateful. Truly, truly grateful. and Medicare. Was an adult so also went on food stamps. Lives with a family who were close to the hospital so I could make it to all my treatments.
Caroline Sturkie Right?!!?. I love this show. Unfortunately, on some episodes some people have the nerve to show their faces. It’s like they don’t even know they’re wrong and cold hearted 😔. However, all humans have the right to their own opinions. God bless them anyway.
Not at all... Most of these videos make me feel happy about the future of humanity, but this isn’t as black and white as you think. I actually agree with everything the cashier said
When I was in my 20's I was in line to pay for my groceries and there was a 10 year old boy ahead of me. His mom was in the car waiting for him as he ran her errand; of course he had what she needed on her list but didn't have enough to pay for all of the items. I could see on his face he was very embarrassed. I was guessing this has happened before. I covered the cost of the difference and as his things were getting bagged the cashier told me this has happened before with this kid. I told her "I don't care, I can see he hated being there" Besides I can remember only too well when we had to be oh so careful with our budget and had to make sure we had enough $$ to pay for our food. Mom or myself would sometimes put back the least needed items just to make sure we wouldn't get humiliated by anyone in line or by the cashier. Walk a mile in someone's shoes and see what life is for them. If that person is living a lie it's on them. All I know and try to live by is "What would Christ do" Believe it or not it has always carried me through life. It's your choice.
- that is gross of the mother to use her kid like that though. Knowing people will feel bad and cover the balance is so manipulative and I really hate it because like you I too would help the kid. The kid didn't ask for that and he's the one feeling the shame and while that is what his bint of a mother was counting on it doesn't change the fact the kid needs help.
That is exactly what Jesus Christ would do. I’ve always tried to emulate that same spirit. I was in those same shoes where life was really tight when I got hurt and physically have to give up my job because I couldn’t type on a computer for 8-10 hours a day. I ended up working a job that paid 30% less than what I earned on the senior exec floor. To save gas, a friend would swing by on her shopping day, pick me up to go grocery shopping. I ate a lot of beans and tuna then. This dear friend, who I still miss to this day, Would step forward to checkout, she ran her order, then would turn around and tell cashier to run it all on one charge. All, she said is “I got this.I can afford it, at this time, you can’t.” So I let her pay for it and didn’t embarrass her. I found other ways to repay her by “Elderly-sitting” her 85 yr old mom, so my girlfriend could go to church and then meet with her church group and teach Sunday school. Her mom became a dear friend too. I understood both of them, in some ways totally alike, but different on so many levels. They would clash at times. I was the intermediary. I’m an old lady now, both these dear friends are deceased now. I would give anything to have these true Christian souls back in my life, I miss them so- the camaraderie, the friendship and acceptance, the laughter, and even the tears when a mutual friend died. We’ve all been in the shoes of those portrayed. It warms my heart to see so many of my fellow Americans step forward and unasked, offer help. Bless you one and all. Thank you for the tv program that reminds people what Americans really are, their generosity, their love of their fellow man. We occasionally need reminding that the world, our nation, isn’t as cruel and self-centered as Donald Trump portrays to the media.
It's really gross of the mom to use her kid like that, but whether or not she was in there with her kid, it's food that (hopefully) the kid would be getting some of. I wouldn't want the kid to go hungry, even if his mom isn't going about it the right way.
If the family was Mexican I doubt it was fake considering the fact that a young illegal Imigrant boy was denied medical attention and died because of trumps new policy You might note that I capitalized Mexican but not trump because my respect for the presidency at this time is at an all time Low
And really, I don't think the cashier's acting in reality (not in staged situation) would meet any standards- warning talk with the manager at least, if not fired. Ex Customer Care here.
I’m a cashier at dollar tree and once I had an older woman who was having trouble getting her card out from her wallet. The guy behind her was a complete saint and said “oh I can pay for the rest” and that was the most wholesome thing I’ve seen during any retail shift I’ve had
we have tendencies to forget based on jobs today...rent..mortgage..ins coverage there are more of us that are one paycheck away from government assistance...count your blessings and lend a hand up...
A huge shout out to that woman, a real Angel!!! I didn't have enough fer my son's necessities, and she paid the remaining 20.00!!!! Just wow!!! Sooo Beautiful ❤️!!!! Dear God, Please Bless this woman Tenfold for all her good deeds!!! In Jesus name,Amen 🙏!

@@zain2232 yeah but its how she acts about it its not so mutch that the decent thing to do is just let it slide its that the indecent thing to do is say anything more than the card declined anything other than im sorry we could put somethings back or we cant help you is just being abrsive at least and outright brutaly mean at worst
Yeah I dont get it. I always whisper declined when cards are declined. And I'm hella poor myself. I struggle SO bad to work. And drs do not care about me...I literally cannot even fathom the comments. This cashier would NOT want to run into me.
I had a good job but that week I went to the grocery store with a very short list til payday. I came up $5 over & told cashier I'd put those items back. Man behind me asks cashier how much does she need? Cashier $5. Man hands her a $5. I said ty but it's really ok I'll put them back, he says what's $5 outta my life? Take it. I was in tears & so grateful. Lesson learned from that was paying it forward. When I was in line & someone came up short on a coffee, groceries or a family of 5 shopping for TX & I handed the cashier $10 in private put it towards their purchase. I never forgot that kind man.
I was a t the store once and the man in front of me was using food stamps but was 18 dollars off and the cashier told him that he will pay for it, the man was crying And thanking him for about 5 minutes, this is the type of people we need in our world
Nick Petrun yea man we need them everyday but even I’m not poor I still feel bad them because they are having bad life to pay there taxes and it hard to For them to get food so the government invented the food pass so it’s make easy for them to pay to their food
budsmoke bunny the cashier saw how much money and she didn’t announce it she said she will pay for the rest and the man asked how much and she said 18 dollars
Once my friends and I went to jack in the box and we had a 5 dollar bill and we were trying to buy a drink and some fries and we were a few dollars short and the cashier used his employee discount so we could still get what we wanted
There's a point after which they can't realistically stay on script. The kindness shown by the person she was interacting with resonated with the person she was portraying.
May the songs of heaven sing of the people who help those even if they are not doing it for the sake of heart. Ive seen this many times where someone who isnt willing to but does it anyway.

I was pregnant, and went to the local Mom and Pop store. Took a loonng time trying to figure out what I could afford,as I'm a little slow and have hard time adding and subtracting.( Disability) Well , I handed him a 20, and he handed me change,as if it was a 50. This happened to me. I went shopping, got to the checkout and my card wasn't working. At the time I had a new born baby and a 4yr old. The cashier was awful to me and really embarrassed me. I started to cry as more than anything I need the baby milk. I went to walk off and 3 customers behind me call me back and between the 3 of them, they paid for my shopping. I couldn't say thank you enough and I still think about those 3 strangers every day. There were so kind and have pure hearts and I'm entirely grateful ❤️
No one has a right to anyone else's money and the problem is the government abuse of taxes. When that money is your money you will have a different tune . I'm sure when you pay taxes you take advantage of whatever deduction you can get and how is that different from someone who make more. People should help others out of their own heart and people do but it not the government job to keep taking and taking without actually solving these problems

You'd be surprised how mean and nasty rich people can be. I've worked retail for nine years and they're pretty bad. And those "sweet looking grandmas"? They're most potty mouthed, nasty, crude scum whenever ANYTHING doesn't go their way. I no longer respect them and am glad I don't work in retail any more. If some nasty "grandma" was using her granny entitlement card to abuse someone, I'll definitely walk up to her and tell her to STFU and either pay up or get out.
As a guy who's been poor my whole life, I relied on food stamps just the same as my mom and sister have. At the moment my sister, her 3 kids, my mom and I share the same food stamp card. We all work jobs but we still need it because the jobs simply don't pay enough. But I know for a fact if my mother or I saw something like this we would've done what most of these people have. Now my sister on the other hand, probably would've thrown hands no questions asked. If someone helped us out if we ever ran out I would be incredibly grateful, I'm so happy people like this exist in the world.
Story: I was at a Costco once and like always, I wanted to get a berry smoothie. Usually, my mom or dad comes with me and pays but this time my mom handed me some money and told me to get it while she shopped. I was hesitant, thinking that it might not be enough, but my mom insisted it should be. I was standing in line and looked at the price. I guessed how much the tax would add on and got a bit nervous, but continued anyways. I texted and tried calling my mom, telling her that it might not be enough, but she didn’t answer. When I got to the counter, I ordered my smoothie and when the lady told me the price (with tax) I was embarrassed. I was maybe less than 50 cents short? Maybe more? (I don’t remember the exact price) I said that I could call my mom and go find her but the lady just smiled and leaned over. “Don’t worry about it.” She tipped over a red cup next to the cash register that had coins, receipts, pencils, and whatnot and payed for the rest. “There’s extra change, don’t worry.” I insisted that it was alright and I could just go run back to my mom, but she still helped me. She handed me my smoothie and called for the next person in line. I was so touched by this woman’s kindness. I still tear up to this day, thinking about her. She had no reason to help me. She could’ve just flat out denied me or told me to find my mom and get the rest of the money (even that would’ve been considered kind). She was older than me, working hard for her money while I’m just a kid mooching off of my parents. But she still treated me with so much kindness and understanding. I haven’t seen her since and I don’t know anything about her, but people like that kind hearted woman working at the resister in the food court at Costco make this world a much better place. I hope her life is going well and though I can’t personally repay her, I hope the universe has in some way.
One time, I was going through the Taco Bell drive thru & a an older lady took my order, pay with cash, when she gave me my change, she put one hand under my hand & handed my the change in the other... it was such a small gesture but at the moment it felt so heartwarming....
Xoxxo Bob its always the poor and who have the least that are the most sympathetic but, let it be known that black people aren’t the only poor people in america
Karen is not the problem of society. Don't blame the society for something they can't control. This is the fault of the system. Many people in society didn't even voted for the system.
How is it the cashiers fault? I work in retail....and if someone doesn't have enough money to pay for something...they don't get it...I'm not going to pay for it out of my pocket....Because then it becomes a habit for people.
@@perryh.5306 That's not what the person was saying. They didn't say they should've paid for their stuff, they just said that the people who agreed with her on the "taking advantage of the government" and "knowing how these people are" are the problem with society
Everyone blames the poor. While the richer get richer and sit on a pile of money they'll NEVER spend which ruins the economy for us poor folk. It literally costs you like 5 cents to put towards other peoples food stamps...if that burdens you then I hope you ain't breeding.

Syrtech they help the people that want to help themselves to better themselves like your family did which is good. But there are some people who just use these benifits and never strive for anything better.
This happened while I was waiting on line behind a young mother whose EBT card was short of funds; she couldn't buy all of the baby food she needed. She was trying to figure out what to keep and what to put back. Several of us immediately stepped up to give her the money she needed--and then some. I truly believe there are more good people than bad in this world.
She must been white cause if she was black I’m sure the attitude s from you people would have been just like the rest your kind /this rude cashier in this video!
Problem is, mostly good people don’t seek power and if they do, they don’t go all the lengths to get into power. That’s why people in power usually are bad.
I think so too. I was checking in at the Dr's office and I overheard them asking this elderly lady if she could afford her $25 co-pay and she said no. The man behind her paid it.
I used to be a cashier at Walmart and I always whispered to people if they were short on money so they won’t feel embarrassed or judged by me or others. Sometimes I pay or give them a coupon to help them on small things. I never called EBT cards “food stamps” it’s just a humane thing to do instead of putting people down for things that they can’t control most of the time; and as that one lady said, “I would rather my money go to poor people as help than to rich people as tax cuts”
@WhatTheHawk38, it is vastly different tween the one wit stamps as they r in need n therefore they r grateful. Versus the other side of the coin, where they ooze hate n discontent @the fact that sum need it! Can't judge book by its cover! Everyone has a story, n us as people have absolutely no right to read the jacket n make up ur own conclusions. Heaven forbid dat the "haters" may end up @sumpoint needing the same help. I imagine, they wouldn't like been on the Otha side!
+Mustafa A-That's very sweet of you just to quietly tell people if they're short on money rather than publicly announce to everyone waiting in line. . .It's a courtesy thing but something that is definitely appreciated-I'm sure the people you help out appreciate it as well that you don't publicly shame them that they're just a little short on money. . .and either they just simply forgot, or if they need help, you are willing to help out. . .Truth is, groceries are just plain expensive. They're not luxuries but necessities. . .And sometimes, especially if you start out only at part time on minimum wage like you have to in a lot of places still. . .you have to struggle to balance these necessities while still making rent on time. . .So I'm glad there are people like you at the cashier who understands when someone needs help and they should still be treated like human beings who just need a little help sometimes. . .
I’m a cashier at a hardware store. I had a customer in my line that was buying repair items for a toilet. All of their cards were declining. I happened to have my card on it and it happened to be right after my pay day so I paid for their item. They were so thankful and it genuinely made my day getting to help someone that was in a situation that I had been in plenty times before.
Once I was a penny short for some groceries and the cashier looked at me like "too bad" homegirl couldn't help me out with a penny 😂 I was so embarrassed, the person behind me didn't offer to help either, oh and before people start saying I should have kept track of how much money I had in my snap card I wasn't paying with snap I was paying cash I've never been on government assistance.. and I know no one is obligated to help me out with a penny but come on it's a penny. 😂

The man at 3:12 really hit me really hard. I felt that right in the heart and it made me tear up because of that man's kind heart he has. He was willing to help someone out instead of himself. No doubt that he is one of the most kindest people there is. I honestly respect that man so much. It broke my heart despite being broke.
A couple years ago, I've experienced running out of change and getting my card declined at a busy convenience store with a long line behind me. The lady behind me was so sweet and she discreetly offered to pay for my stuff. She whispered to me, "It's okay. It happens to all of us." I was stunned, I could hardly say anything aside from "thank you". Random acts of kindness do exist.
I had just come out of a job interview and noticed the car I was using had a oil light on. Checked the oil and there was nothing. I was $.50 short of the total to get one quart of oil. I doubt he'd do the same thing had it been a less appealing looking person. People have a natural tendency to be extra helpful and friendly to young and pretty women. This show made that carefully calculated move to get such reactions
Honestly if it was me he was offering to help out I would have politely declined his money after he said that. I would never want to take food out of someone else’s mouth.
“I lived in a country where we went to sleep hungry cause we had no food.” I grew up on food stamps. I still remember the embarrassment of paying with stamps.

ash ley people are cruel. Sometimes they’d say “must be nice to get free food” or worse. Now I have a great job and pay a lot of taxes so other people can have assistance. Everyone deserves help.
One good thing about Australia is we have community pantries, you go and you pay what you can afford, even if it's like $5. You get a certain amount of points and then each item is worth point, you go around and pick the items you want and they usually give you the basics for free (bread, long life milk, fruit and veggies that are donated by local gardens, instant soups, etc.) Of course it is uncomfortable knowing that you need these services but having them available in a specific place free of judgement of other shoppers who can afford whatever they want or the cashiers who don't understand your situation, is such a comfort and lifesaver. As someone who also grew up in a low income household, I'm glad to hear you are doing well now ❤ It's nice to know our taxes go towards helping others in the way we needed help, a lot of the ones we have are not actually funded properly by government rather supported by it and the people who run them and our communities pick up the slack. These people are angels and I keep a jumper I was given by the salvation army one cold winter when we couldn't get more clothes and myself and my two brothers were growing faster than my parents could afford, it always reminds me of the fact that someone out there always cares and understands and it reminds me of how far we have come since then.
The beautiful, and kind black man needs to be rewarded 300,000 dollars, ALL of those kind ppl need to be rewarded. Just to clear things up, I'm not saying that JUST because they did nice thing means they need reward, but imagine how they could improve their lives with pieces of green paper. Every great deed needs a greater reward, well seeing their kindness affect others is a great reward but those few extra bucks could REALLY help someone, take it from a person who's poor *hint hint, MEE!! It could really help my medical bills. Yes he is an AMAZING human from what I've seen and I don't know who he is, but regardless of what he did previously, it still showed that he is a wonderful human being that cares for others and does beyond what's called for.
This brings back painful memories. In the mid seventies when I was a single mother I remember the humiliation of going to the grocery store and using food stamps. Back then they were paper so everyone knew you were using them. I am 72 now and still remember the shame and sadness.
It happened to me recently and a complete stranger offered to pay for an item I hadn't enough money for..I was really grateful and thanked him 3 or 4 times .it just proves that there are decent people out there...I,have done something similar in the past and you feel good for doing a kind act.i hope I can repay this complete stranger again sometime.i know if I see someone a bit short of money paying for groceries any time soon I will gladly help them..its nice to be nice.

A lot of these beautiful souls made me cry...offering to pay, when they looked as if they were struggling too...and especially the one guy that said he barely has enough for himself...I so wish everyone could just slow down long enough to be this way...
It was wonderful of him to help her out, but he wasn't being honest. Did you see what he was buying? You don't buy prepared meals and Coke when you are broke.
Thats so messed up .... "I know the majority of people who are milking the system don't speak English" really🤦🏽♂️what language you speak or where your from shouldn't define wether your taking advantage of benefits or not
I live in California and the reason people say that is because in California almost everyone on food stamps is illigal or Mexican also please don't be offended
Kay_girl 6464 actually working class whites are the largest recipients of SNAP in the U.S so just because you live in California doesn’t make them the majority over all
@Kay_girl 6464 I lived in California for 15 years and that's absolute horseshit. A lot of immigrants NEED the benefits because they're not paid a living wage, so if you're upset that they're "milking" the system, be angry at the upper class who aren't paying them enough to pay for their own groceries. I don't care how "illegal" an immigrant is, borders are fake and EVERYONE deserves basic human rights like food, water, and shelter.
I am a cashier and the kindest thing i had ever seen was this one time when this woman with three children (one of which was a baby that was strapped on her body) and she used food stamps and WIC, but for some odd reason the stamp card was malfunctioning and she didnt have enough cash on her to compensate for what the food stamps didnt cover ( it was literally $200 worth of groceries and the wic only took off $15) and this older gentleman handed me $200 cash and said “don’t worry about it I’ll take it.” His name is Marcus and he was the towns head of maintenance. I told him that was the kindest thing I’ve ever seen and how i was having a bad day but that was enough to make it. Roger B.. I used to bar tend in my younger days the first pub was in the center of Manchester UK and it was near all the bus and tram stops so a first calling point for many people coming into town for a night out , plus near hotels where often foreign football supporters would stay, most of the customers were ordinary factory or office workers and I always went home £15 To £20 up in tips and we shared the tips with the cook, cleaner, dishwasher and D.J even the local prostitutes would tip well if they were in a good mood, but the second bar I worked in was right next to an arty theatres and quite wealthy customers would come in and theatre types, not only would they treat us like dirt and often ask for free tap water and to sample the beers before buying they mostly never tipped I would leave each night with either nothing or maybe 35p. I also briefly dated two millionaires who both would only buy reduced price items at the supermarket. I have also recived the most kind and genrous of help and hospitality from ordinary and quite poor people in hours of need. What's the point in having money if you dont enjoy it and share, after all there are no pockets in a shroud.

Once I was a dollar short and the man in rags behind me paid the cashier. He was killed later that week in an accident. I told the story to many before and after his death. What he did already elevated him to a higher level than most rich people I know. I know when he met his maker, his maker was very proud of this man.
The first lady was great, she laid it on the cashier and how she offered to pay although her herself didn''t have much money, priceless, just like the man. All were great
I actually had a man pay for my Gallon of milk for me and my daughter, as I was short on the grocery bill. Man chose to put his beer back and paid for the milk. I bawled my eyes out. So grateful to see humanity and sacrifice in people and I have paid it fwd many time. #LoveWins ❤

Ariana Hawkins well if it said white it'd be called racist but in my opponion you should shout out everybody they all helped and you don't know if there poor or not either
The Hippo God I doubt you would be called racist for calling someone exactly what they are in a non offensive way. You assume what you want though. It’s just a simple way to identify people, etc.. There is no need for you to play the victim. There is also no need to be “colorblind”, there is nothing wrong with acknowledging someone’s race in a positive way.
I remember I was just like this woman!!! I was in the Army, and i came in the Commissary one day... I had to buy some cleaning products for inspection that day... I was $12.23 short... The Cashier payed what I couldn't.... I said to her, "Thank you..." She said to me, "Don't thank me, just do something nice for someone else!!!" And that's why I do so much nice things today!!!
A-fuckin-men, i was hungry when i first moved out of my prarents house. I was too ashamed to ask them for help, and the foodbank empoyee gave me a big ol bag of groceries. I cried in the car after. Asking for help is so hard someimes. But helping others is a choice anyone can make, now I can afford food and I feel so proud that my taxes go towards helping people. I'd rather most of my taxes go back into my community then into the military or someone else's pocket
The ONLY reason people are paying are people who are in that situation or used to be, not if they always had money or secure. Think if it was rare in America where someone was not financially secure. Then if people who are and is behind her wouldn't feel the same way. So logically I don't see the same thing in this video
The First Lady customer is such a sweetheart. Thank you for being such a nice person. The other customers helping are also great people. I love these people.

@@cudnm How sad ignorant people like you still exist. 😥
Wise words! I can relate as my mom and I did the same.
That is so sad. She put her son in an embarrassing situation so she won't be embarrassed? What kind of Mom pimps her child like that!!! 😤😡

Poor people are not abusing the system … they are just poor. If a rich person is getting Food Stamps then that's abusing the system!
"a lot of rich people are taking advantage of the system too"....ain't that the truth 🙄🤔

@@kaydenewell3368 Imagine caring more about money than living, breathing humans just like you that need to eat. Could never be me.
Story:
I was at a Costco once and like always, I wanted to get a berry smoothie.
That's a wonderful story

Karen is not the problem of society. Don't blame the society for something they can't control. This is the fault of the system. Many people in society didn't even voted for the system.

They're not luxuries but necessities. . .And sometimes, especially if you start out only at part time on minimum wage like you have to in a lot of places still. . .you have to struggle to balance these necessities while still making rent on time. . .So I'm glad there are people like you at the cashier who understands when someone needs help and they should still be treated like human beings who just need a little help sometimes. . .

One good thing about Australia is we have community pantries, you go and you pay what you can afford, even if it's like $5. You get a certain amount of points and then each item is worth point, you go around and pick the items you want and they usually give you the basics for free (bread, long life milk, fruit and veggies that are donated by local gardens, instant soups, etc.)
Of course it is uncomfortable knowing that you need these services but having them available in a specific place free of judgement of other shoppers who can afford whatever they want or the cashiers who don't understand your situation, is such a comfort and lifesaver.

Bless you!
The ONLY reason people are paying are people who are in that situation or used to be, not if they always had money or secure. Think if it was rare in America where someone was not financially secure. Then if people who are and is behind her wouldn't feel the same way. So logically I don't see the same thing in this video
OKAY
The First Lady customer is such a sweetheart. Thank you for being such a nice person.
The other customers helping are also great people. I love these people.
