Yes, I would like single-sided too. All these tapes are double-sided but sometimes you just want to protect the surface and you don't want adhesive on the outside.

It will, but it's SO painful to remove! Also after some time in sunlight the stickiness of the tape will weaken too

How to remove?
My bicycle is bare titanium and scratches easily so I would like thin clear plastic adhesive strips to put on the frame, for when I have to lean my bike up against a bench, post, bike rack, etc. This looks like what I need but it is double-sided and I need single-sided. Is it possible to remove the adhesive from one side, so the outside is not sticky anymore? What kind of chemical should I use? Thank you!
This is meta material, so, i think, you can use sanding to destroy adhesive properties of the one side.

I recently bought this and so far it’s rubbish, unless I’m doing something wrong ? I wanted it for the shower to stick shampoo etc for easy access,it was on for about 1 minute and it fell off ,then tried unsuccessfully to get it to stick to anything , is it because it’s in a steamy bathroom ( although it wasn’t steamy when I first applied it) I wonder have a bought a FAULTY BATCH ? Or am I applying it wrong ( can’t possibly be ) so I’m going to give it another go in my husbands tool shed ,it does say it will hold hammers, screwdrivers etc ,etc. So watch this space!!! Anyone else had the same problem ?…

Did you use it on a painted wall? If so then it won't work. Only use it on Tiles, marbles, glass etc. Never on a rough surface like a painted wall.
