- I've been on the Alpine Trail carbon for a couple weeks, this is my first carbon bike in 2 years! Is is my favourite bike ever? We went down to Bellingham for the day to check out some fresh trails.

Okay, the name of the bike is a bit misleading. Seems like it's more in the enduro category with 160mm at the front. 😉
Yeah, I love my alpine trail. A burly bike that still keeps the fun aspect of riding so it’s not just a monster truck. I did notice that canyon’s new strive is pretty much just a stretched out alpine trail plus the shapeshifter, so really, the alpine trail is more of just a shortened race bike😁. Might need a roadmap for that one but so good to see you shredding Mark. Loving the content.

i have a 2022 alpine trail c2 but it came with fox38 in the front and fox at the back. it really can handle some pressure im doing high speed downhill , and its riding amazing really an amazing bike for the price !

what would you say are the differences between the carbon alpine trail and the xr?
Same bike, one is carbon and the other has a coil shock. Depends on your preference of how a bike rides. Very minimal differences though
Would be interested to hear the difference between this bike and your xr bike build? I bought an xr and built it up strong it's near 17kg. Thanks
The carbon frame is definitely the smoother ride and a bit lighter. Other than that the frames are the exact same
