I've driven alot of cars including this one, he's right the handling is awesome and I like to hear my motor. I have a 2009 Honda accord, it's still running great. Love this civic though!
How tall are you? How is the headroom with a moonroof? Im interested in buying the ex-l model in blue. The sedan has enough headroom with the moonroof and the coupe is suppose to be only .2 inches less. (37.7 coupe and 37.9 sedan)
test drive them. if it's the 2013 civic, there's no question, but with the new independent suspension they have on the 2014, it might be worth the look provided the price is still 1-2k lower than the mazda. i have a 2014 mazda 3 myself. it's a great car
IMPORTANT CAR BUYING TIPS, the civic 2015 is a nice car, but there is 1 thing that i hate about any car, when they do the alignment the staring wheel is slightly leaning to the left side wile driving on a very strait highway, and you know what that means, the car could be in line , but ours wasn't, was always wearing the right tire on the out side, honda said that it was the tire company flat, that's not the truth, the truth is the car is aligned with the 2 front wheels to far to the right, and this why the staring wheel is going down to the left, but the honda are beautiful cars, i am not saying that, if someone is leasing , hay any thing is ok, but when buying any car, honda and nissan, mostly, i checked them all, all makes and models, there is 2 really important factors to look for when buying a new car, number 1, check all door and hood and trunk seams to see if the space is the same on all doors , hood , and trunk cover, number 2, how it is handling and staring on the highway, the staring wheel should be right strait and level wile driving on a strait highway , it should be so so easy and comfortably to drive, not having to direct the car every foot of the way, the car should almost float like a plain , if the car that you are thinking of buying fails thouse 2 test, leave it there walk away, try another car, until you find one that passes those 2 teats, it;s is very important, you will be very glad that you did, because a car that fails the 2 tests, your having big problems down the road, , this goes for all cars makes and models, but i have checked many cars , and honda , and nissan mostly have those problems, never grab and take, because listen guys, a car should be made straid all thing lining up nice, if not there something wrong some one is not telling you, car buying tips, you'll be glade that you did.
#1 in Canada? I thought it was the Mazda3. Honda can do IT..they did it with the fIT; they did it with my motorcycles...formula: high performance engine running on regular gas economically, and can be revved by an expert driver to get the extra power for the few times it's needed....used to be a double wishbone rear suspension worth it for me.....Is it a multilink now ... have to get up to date/
Having driven both the new Civic and new Mazda 3 on test runs, there is no comparison IMO of this car to the Mazda 3. Mazda blows it away. You'll do well to check out both before buying.
I love my 2012 civic but I just wish Honda would stop making a new one each year just to add a few useless features and actually take the time to put some good work on it, specially under the hood
That's not how car companies operate. Typically they cycle and reengineer their cars every 4 years. So each following year they just change the exterior, tweak the interior, and hardcore market. The new 2017 civic is really legit and has a much better engine.
If honda is gonna fix one thing/year at a time, I feel like you will never be able to get the "best" version for a model year lol And a CVT is definitively not an improvement :P
same here, honda backs out of every thing, honda dealers are very nice when selling you a car, but after you got the car they do not care about any thing, like the little 410 cca battery they put in the honda that gives out in 2 years , and wants the customers to buy another battery,
Bought this car a week ago. Never again!!. I already hate it. Its uncomfortable, no arm rest, extremely ugly, and it sounds like you are driving a truck with all the engine noise. If you guys are thinking about buying a civic, make sure you take it on a test drive for good 20-30 minutes. Trust me, its not a car I expected and now i regret buying it.
The civic used to be a car ppl actually desire to want to buy and drive. They have ruined the styling and made it look bland and boring. Competitors have step it up so much that honda has been forced to make these changes. Unfortunately its too late.
I have a brand new 2014 Honda Civic Coupe. Here is what sucks .... 1) Anything Bluetooth - Horrible sound 2) USB does not work 3) Speakers suck 4) CVT Transmission sucks 5) Dealership sucks Im selling mine today after only having it 3 weeks
OH GOD THEY MADE THAT FRONT END UGLY !!! The sedan looks good, but the Coupe has huge nostrils = no thanks. Check this out: The 2013 Civic with the 5-speed automatic gets EXACTLY the same HIGHWAY MPG as the 2015 with the CVT: www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/Find.do?action=sbs&id=33504&id=35668 Yes, it gets better CITY mpg, but for me I wonder why go with that annoying CVT if it doesn't help improve 'HIGHWAY' fuel economy?
Your reviews are always the best!
i really enjoy your reviews
I've driven alot of cars including this one, he's right the handling is awesome and I like to hear my motor. I have a 2009 Honda accord, it's still running great. Love this civic though!
Great review. I agree Honda did a great job with this Civic and that new screen with the next generation HondaLink is just awesome
Well that's cause you own a god damn Civic
Hello. Is there an ETA for the 2014 Civic Sis?
How tall are you? How is the headroom with a moonroof? Im interested in buying the ex-l model in blue. The sedan has enough headroom with the moonroof and the coupe is suppose to be only .2 inches less. (37.7 coupe and 37.9 sedan)
I got the 5 spd manual coupe a couple of days ago...I love it!
Well get the Kia Forte Koup and look at what ***** has to say about it
Great Review! :)
great review... your reviews without a doubt in my opinion are the best!
Honda needs to update the headlights into projector. Please do it.
Smart link only works when your in park
I like it
0:20 .... Zack, the 2012 Civic (including the 2014 model), are the 9th gen Civic. The 7th generation ran from 2001-2005 in North America.
Oh man, I was going from memory. Bad me.
No worries. Great review, as always!
Looking to purchase my first car... 2014 Honda Civic Coupe EX or the 2014 Mazda 3? Thanks
test drive them. if it's the 2013 civic, there's no question, but with the new independent suspension they have on the 2014, it might be worth the look provided the price is still 1-2k lower than the mazda. i have a 2014 mazda 3 myself. it's a great car
Go with the 20014 Mazda 3. I personally have the 2014 black on black 3 SGT.
Mazda3, looks better
Never once thought the civic looked good. Good review, though.

The Accord outsells the Camry in Canada, and the Civic is Canada's best selling car. Period.
Having driven both the new Civic and new Mazda 3 on test runs, there is no comparison IMO of this car to the Mazda 3. Mazda blows it away. You'll do well to check out both before buying.
The ride and the handling is near the top of the class?? Um.. have you ever driven a Mazda 3?
Tell me more. I am beginning to like mazda.
bestcar for the money
honda is ok if your leasing for 2 or 3 years
I love my 2012 civic but I just wish Honda would stop making a new one each year just to add a few useless features and actually take the time to put some good work on it, specially under the hood

Owners of the Accord are already having problems with their CVT transmissions. Just go to TH-cam and check it out yourself.
I currently drive a 06 Civic and do not like this styling at all, mine is much much better on the outside.
First to watch!
Nice car
6 liters per 100? lol
I get 7.7 driving like a grandma with hemroids
Still no odometer....It still has that awful digital readout that other drivers can see!!!!!
I would never own a car with this feature.....
Front is fucking ugly. Also this is part of the 9th Generation Civic line-up, not the 7th. The 7th Generation was 2001-2005.
They should remove the CVT, add a V6 option, better stereos, reduce the cabin noise, and maybe itll get a better reputation
Booo Yaa Motormouth!
Honda needs need designers! This is ugly! I was a honda only guy but they are awful and boring and dont have the features kia n hyundai have
before it starts braking down
If honda is gonna fix one thing/year at a time, I feel like you will never be able to get the "best" version for a model year lol
And a CVT is definitively not an improvement :P
I rather buy a Chevy Cruze
Nope Honda disappointed me with my last Honda won't go back ever again. Bad customer service and bad customer relations at the 800#.
same here, honda backs out of every thing, honda dealers are very nice when selling you a car, but after you got the car they do not care about any thing, like the little 410 cca battery they put in the honda that gives out in 2 years , and wants the customers to buy another battery,
great review! crap car lol ill take a jetta instead
Or Mazda3 because the Jetta gets good gas mileage too

...did you not test it out before you bought it?
Love my 2014 Mazda 3 SGT over the 2014 Honda Civic.
I don't understand. I had a 2009 civic coupe si before going to an accord, and I loved it...
Why would any body buy a car that they thought was ugly?
he's one of those idiots that buys a car without reading up on it.
1) Anything Bluetooth - Horrible sound
2) USB does not work
3) Speakers suck
4) CVT Transmission sucks
5) Dealership sucks
Im selling mine today after only having it 3 weeks
Nice wheels but same boring gutless engine....couple extra hp..big deal.
Lost me at an automatic car...
OH GOD THEY MADE THAT FRONT END UGLY !!! The sedan looks good, but the Coupe has huge nostrils = no thanks.
