Better late then never. Missed this one last Thursday. I’ve been to Gothenburg. We were halfway from the Netherlands to Norway by car. We had a hotel near the old harbor at Eriksberg; good place to enjoy the view and good food. Kattegat is a Dutch word and means a cat’s behind.
Hi Lea. Greetings from Oz. Swimming in the North Sea and eating sausage with mashed potato and mustard. Great fun. I like the Heidenau Scout, really good tyres. Thanks you for taking us along on your amazing adventure.
I like that you still make fun of yourself loosing your keys 😉 I lived in Gothenburg until 2016, and you make me want to move back with the first scene from Feskarbröderna.... Thanks for sharing, until next time, ride safe. Or as the mechanic said, köör snyggt 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Go indeed, where the locals go. I used to work for a guy from Gothenberg. We had great lunches when his mother came over from Sweden to NYC for her annual feed the boys visit. That's how i got introduced to Aquavit (after work).
Hot dog with mashed potatoes "korv me' mos" (mos is pronuonced like "moose"! Means something mashed, with hot dog, obviously potatoes) used to be the Swedish fast food no. 1 before hamburgers were introduced. You can have the hot dog either grilled or boiled, but that's where the Swedish difference between a grilled hot dog and the boiled sausage appears. Different sorts of sausages 😄! The grilled one is a classic hot dog kind, but ironically we call the boiled one "varmkorv", warm/hot sausage, although it's thinner and longer, and tastes differently. Juicier, if you can say that about a sausage! A VERY Swedish hot dog fast food is "tunnbrödrulle"! (Tunn = thin, bröd = bread, rulle = roll) That is, originally a 'varmkorv', nowadays any kind of sausage, e. g. bratwurst or chorizo, and mashed potatoes wrapped in a tortilla looking white rye bread. Of course mustard and ketchup, pickled chopped gurkins, with or without mayo ("majonäsgurka" or "Bostongurka"). That's a ful meal, I guarantee you! Traditionally served with a 'Pucko', cold chocolate milk. 😋 That's a walk down memory lane for me, going back to mid seventies, moped (sort of scooter/motor bike extra light😂) and 'Flosse's "korv-moje" in Tureberg, Sollentuna, Stockholm. A "korv-moje" is like a little kiosk for selling fast food. Back in time, before burgers it was all about hot dogs = korv, what "moje" is, I don't have a clue 😂😂
Hey Anna, thanks so much for that great Hot Dog 101! I btw love tunnbröd - had that as well with shrimps and other delicious things. It’s my favorite I think!
After watching this video I weigh a kilogram more - such delicious food! 😋 Great video again, superb sound and beautiful b-roll. Thank you very much for that. 🙏 😃 👍🏻

The coastal walk and beaches were so peaceful looking 😌 how cold was the water? The food made me feel hungry especially the sausage and mash in a roll 😋 thanks for sharing another interesting and picturesque video 📹 🙂
Lovely video really enjoyed seeing Gothenburg what a beautiful clean city, with loads of history too, and with the added benefit of local knowledge what a perfect spot for a swim and picnic, with the odd glass of wine no doubt. Thank you.
Hi Lea, you and your travel partner have certainly shown us some beautiful places on this trip and this episode was no exception. Great seeing getting stuck into the sausage and mash hot dog 🌭 I was salivating. Worth the visit to Gothenburg by it’s self I think.
