This is one of the questions in the practice tests. This may not be the only calculation in this subtest since Mechanical Comprehension covers not only the basic mechanical ideas, simple machines, tools and other mechanical devices but also how well you understand work, basics of potential and kinetic energy and resistance as well as gear ratios, fluid properties and thermodynamics in real life. So, there may be calculations similar to this. Just familiarize yourself with all the work, energy, and power formulas (basic physics) and conversion of units, dimensional analysis.
