RPG fans and GTA fans IMHO don't have the same overlap as much as ShadowEliteHD may think, I couldn't care less of GTA 6 comes out next year I'm not buying it at launch maybe when it's at the hyper discount rate
@@ShadowKing1982 These games not having the overlap makes sense but I think y'all are underestimating the worldwide phenomenon that is GTA6. ANY other game I would not be making this point but GTA6 is a different beast utterly and entirely
It’s not necessarily about player interest as it is social awareness. Smaller or more niche games get swept up in the tide of a huge game like GTA6. There will be so much more discussion and media coverage of it that even if you’re not interested in it, you miss the smaller games around it. This only applies to gamers that aren’t as in-tune with the news and releases and already know what they want to play 6 months out. Which is most of them, the vast majority of consumers buy something because it was recently brought to their attention.

Started with trails through daybreak (mistake), and now I'm playing through all the Trails games available on Switch. They're incredible.
ToS just got remastered though so I feel like they’re just going in whatever direction they feel like.
