If you are talking about Pakistan then trust me, even Muslims in Pakistan are not safe. Just few weeks ago, Shia Muslims were attacked in Parachinar. Ahmedis are attacked regularly, Baloch and Pakhtuns are being persecuted but I will not deny that Pakistani Muslims are very hypocritical, they will speak for Palestine but not defend their own.

I have faced same thing in my School life my fellow students used to fight me and say bad words to me coz I was a “Non Muslim”. Once I had a fight with a fellow student when our teacher knew that we are fighting she came to me and said “Tumhri Himmat kaisy hui ek Muslman py hath uthany ki” and beat me up.
Our PT Sir was highly anti minority person he used to treat me like second citizen and looked down on me. Once we had a party in our school all the students of my class decided to arrange a get together one of my fellow student said I won’t attend this get together If Mahesh comes to it so they decided not to invite me in that children’s party.
This is the part of the past but I want to share a recent event, A doctor’s attendant refused to shake hand with me by saying “Tum Muslman to ni ho jo tm se main hath milaun I was shocked to hear this.
After all this still people say Minorities are very safe in Pakistan.

buddy reality is that Muslim cannot remove their own biases..
Reality they can see the world oppresing them but can't see when they do it..
And this isn't just Muslim.. it's engraved in the attitude of Islam..
Problem is Muslim have internalised it so much that islamic teaching give one law for Muslim but in vice versa it is haram.
Here's the pact of umar wherein the non Muslim community had to agree to living in Muslim countries... This is the bases of dimini status..
Who inturn is the criterion or laws and the place of non Muslim in Muslim countries..
Now please tell me in a vise versa condition will a Muslim will agree to these conditions.. I will ask will any Muslim even agree one of these conditions.. they cry oppression. If anyone even come close to implement these conditions..
Infact historically Muslim have done opposite of these stance with non Muslim community when they were in minorities.. ie build mosques, used it for raising enemity for non Muslim community, used it for protection of spy against the non Muslim majority.. use of loudspeaker for azan..
      Pact of Umar
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. This is a document to the servant of Allah `Umar, the Leader of the faithful, from the Christians of such and such city. When you (Muslims) came to us we requested safety for ourselves, children, property and followers of our religion. We made a condition on ourselves that:
-We will neither erect in our areas a monastery, church, or a sanctuary for a monk,
-Nor restore any place of worship that needs restoration
-Nor use any of them for the purpose of enmity against Muslims.
-We will not prevent any Muslim from resting in our churches whether they come by day or night, and we will open the doors [of our houses of worship] for the wayfarer and passerby.
-Those Muslims who come as guests, will enjoy boarding and food for three days.
-We will not allow a spy against Muslims into our churches and homes or hide deceit [or betrayal] against Muslims.
-We will not teach our children the Qur'an,
      Publicize practices of Shirk (polytheism),
Invite anyone to Shirk or prevent any of our fellows from embracing Islam, if they choose to do so.
      -We will respect Muslims,
-Move from the places we sit in if they choose to sit in them.
-We will not imitate their clothing, caps, turbans, sandals, hairstyles, speech, nicknames and title names,
      or ride on saddles,
-Hang swords on the shoulders, collect weapons of any kind or carry these weapons.
We will not encrypt our stamps in Arabic,
      or sell liquor.
-We will have the front of our hair cut,
Wear our customary clothes wherever we are,
      Wear belts around our waist,
-Refrain from erecting crosses on the outside of our churches and demonstrating them and our books in public in Muslim fairways and markets.
-We will not sound the bells in our churches, except discretely, or raise our voices while reciting our holy books inside our churches in the presence of Muslims,
-Nor raise our voices [with prayer] at our funerals, or light torches in funeral processions in the fairways of Muslims, or their markets.
We will not bury our dead next to Muslim dead,
or buy servants who were captured by Muslims.
-We will be guides for Muslims and refrain from breaching their privacy in their homes.'
-We will not beat any Muslim.
-These are the conditions that we set against ourselves and followers of our religion in return for safety and protection. If we break any of these promises that we set for your benefit against ourselves, then our Dhimmah (promise of protection) is broken and you are allowed to do with us what you are allowed of people of defiance and rebellion.'[4]

As an Indian who visited Pakistan (lahore, kasur and pak pattan) with ideas of our countries being very similar, i could not help but notice the glaring differences. In our stay of over 10 days i met just one non Muslim pakistani(salesperson at khaadi). Even more surprising, for many people we were the first hindus that they had ever met. This lack of religious diversity clearly borne out in demographic numbers (sindh being relatively better) was quite something to experience in person.

Or the forced conversion and marriage of hindu and Christian under age girls in Pakistan.. The inhalation of Ahemidia in Pakistan Indonesia and kurdistani mens and thier girls turkey syria Iraq Iran.
even with your pride of allhamdulillah there are no non Muslim tribe in Somalia or 97% of Pakistan or More than half the countries in the Middle East-North Africa region have populations that are approximately 95% Muslim or greater. These include Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Palestinian territories, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Western Sahara and Yemen.

As a minority girl myself, I've observed that human rights activists often discuss forced conversions primarily in terms of minority rights, without explicitly addressing them as sex-based crimes. It's not merely that these girls are subjected to sex crimes in addition to being converted; the fact that girls are the victims and the perpetrators are Muslim men, not Muslim women targeting minority boys, clearly indicates that these girls are being abused because of their sex along with their minority status. I'm not specifically referring to the discussion in your podcast, as you did cover this issue.
I've never seen any woman around me talk about this because they're not aware of women's rights( not talking about the number of women participating in protests or talking about this on media)
much like most of the women of all the religious groups aren't aware of women's rights.
Only men talk about this and they do so out of religious solidarity. Their main concern is the forced conversion of religion, not the sex crimes. This is not a generalisation of a particular group of men. This is how Patriarchy works, men speak for women only when they are their daughters mothers sisters and the perpetrators are the other men.
It should be addressed more from the lens of sex based violence.

When I was in 2nd grade, we were taught in school that heaven is only for Muslims and that people of other religions will go to hell. Every single one of my classmates, and even my seniors who were in 9th grade and rode the same van, tormented me daily by saying, 'You'll go to hell; snakes will eat you.' I didn’t have the courage to tell my parents because I came from a humble family. I endured this torment until I changed schools in 9th grade.

Gandhi originally was trying to convince the British to subdue their racial and violence towards the natives of India as it's the Christian way as well as Hindu, sikhism, Buddhism and jainism along with Christians and we should all agree to this one thing all our religion has commonality in. It's true Gandhi was earlier trying to mend the British Raj in India than remove it but his stance changed to the then turn of events.
There is a whole chapter of Ahimsa in buddhism, Hinduism and jainism which basically said the same thing about the slap on the cheek in different forms of metaphors. Gandhi became a secular safe to convince the British Raj who professed to Christian morality a lot to make them see all our religions professed about nonviolence and used the quote of Jesus saying show your other cheek to make correlations with verses and philosophies of Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism. Jains go as far to take a broom and brush in front of them to remove insects from his their way to prevent any induction of violence even in insects. So concept of nonviolence, pacifism and peace wasn't at all new to India for 1000s of years.

Even if you revoke laws of blasphemy then also the cases of false allegations will increase with more speed. Until the judicial system of Pakistan donot punish the people who have made false allegation about blasphemy, no one would be safe. We have to work on social fabric of Pakistan and had to curb this mob mentality. One of my suggestion is that Pakistan should form separate law for false allegation of blasphemy and inculcate strong punishment also.

One is Danish Kaneria, and the other one is Shae Gill ( singer from Pasoori). Morover in pakistan entertainment industry I hardly find any person from other faiths. In India we have literally stars from different faiths in every freaking Industry in Malayalam we have Mammootty, In Tamil Industry we have Vijay in Bollywood I don't need to say how many superstars are known. Every industry we have big non-hindu stars who have millions of market ( viewership) I don't find that in Pakistan unfortunately even in Cricket. I don't know any cricketer other than Kaneria. While we have so many non-hindus cricketers even playing in our international team. Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh, Siraj, Shami and list goes on so many talanted cricketers who are from different faiths. If these Ethinic/religious cleansing will continue, I would say even your television programs won't have any non-Muslims ( even right now I doubt they have) . We even have Athiests actors, directors, writers, comedians, politicians etc.
