That got pretty tense haha You could have stepped back with Fend at the end (44:40) to be able to finish with a mighty Lunging Thrust A few times you draw and discard at the start of the turn, but you should only check hand size at the very end of the turn. So you only discard at the end of your turn, if you still have more than 5 cards in hand. Also you should draw on the first round of the game as well, so you start your first turn with 6 cards + 2 core.

When moving blue for the first time you changed direction. Page 15 of rule book’If a move effect has multiple step or rotation directions of value greater than one you must choose same direction for each part of the move’🤓👍
