Did not expect an analysis of power distance in Encanto from this series, but I'm living for it.

Classifying USA as a low power distance country is wild.

Wow. This video script was most definitely written by someone from a low power distance culture who looks down on high power distance cultures and spent zero time actually thinking about how a high power distance culture might have formed without being inherently evil and/or ignorant. The writer made an effort, I suppose, but the examples of high power distance cultures given were all cringy and exuded vibes of "you and I both know this is BS but I have to be politically correct *nudge wink*".

the power people have is influenced by the particular culture where people are born and are living . for instance i was born in Punjabi culture so i am heavily influenced by punjabi culture. power directly affects community . for instance i will take example of mine . whenever i speak to Punjabi person i am very confident in speaking but when i talk to. other people like gujrati, Spanish then i feel hesitation. so from all this i learned that nations culture values directly inflicted other people and institutions behaviour which further influenced our power dynamic.
this semester the discussion board which was based upon "indigenous people" was the most interesting topic to me because from this i came to know about various groups which were living in canada for so long. after graduating from this semester i am planning to write a book about multiculturalism and aboriginal people living in canada.
