Merci beaucoup, Dylane. I have been using LingQ a lot recently, which has really helped my vocabulary. I upload the closed captions from French TH-cam videos that interest me. I work through the dialogue from the video in LingQ and when I've finished it and generally understand the dialogue I then watch the video with the French closed captions on. LingQ isn’t perfect, but I have found this method has really helped. It can generate flashcards too. 😎👍
Votre vidéo est très utile. Merci Dylane 🙏⭐️ Flash card method really works I like to write mine on cut out paper rotate and put envelopes a bit old fashioned but I am finding improvement in my spelling and basic writing also seems to sink in a little more in the mind. Thank you also for the active learning structure tips. Sometimes it can be overwhelming structuring learning around daily commitments.
Thank you for your advice. I think I should try Italki. I have been doing Duolingo, Pimsleur, Rocket Languages and I join a conversation club every 2 weeks. I also watch series in french with french subtitles. I need to practice speaking on a daily basis.
Hi Dylane. Thank you for this. One comment recommended French dictation by "Learn to French Eden". I did one lesson and I am thrillled to say I got it all correct but 3 words. However it was a very easy dictation. I am adding this exercise to my daily/weekly exercises. I have been studying with you (daily) for 480 days. Three weeks ago I hired a 16 yr. old girl to answer my tech questions. She showed me what your playlists are and how to access them. Now I know and it will make my learning/studying so much more systematic. I have been pretty much tied to whichever video YT brought to my attention.
I also found "Learn To French" by Eden to be excellent. I have completed all of her dictation exercises and feel that I have learned a lot from them. I tried other sources for dictation exercises her hers are best by far.
Thank u so much madam… as an Indian 🇮🇳 with a dream to come and settle in France…. Ur videos are really helping me…. Thank u so much madam….. love from India 🇮🇳 😊
Whenever I am in the car driving I have a French podcast on. I do manage to pick up the gist of it but not each sentence. I find this is helping to be able to think a bit in French.
10:11 I used to make notes of the videos (your) which I watch and then practically apply to my imagination for a couple of moments. And most importantly I used to connect dots patterns with other languages, like let us take 'French', which language has it's similarities -mostly with English, German, Italian and with others as well (Danish, Spanish etc.) so I used to think that where all those words origin from?, what do they symbolises? And how can I relate to them and in what ways can I explore more. Etc.
Hi Dylane, I just want to tell you you have an awesome channel. I am taking a french course and I supplement my learning with your videos. I hav a quick question, in what order would you advise i watch your following playlist: French Grammer Course, French Conjugation Course, French Pronunciation Course, and French Vocabulary Course.
You've spoken in english and i miss at least 20 words, of course learning english is necessary for me.😂 Merci de votre conseils❤ Jolies fleurs blanches 😍
Quelle coincidence, je viens de faire une lecons sur iTalki avant regarder cette video. This is very similar to a book I have called "50 French Coffee Breaks" but those are 5, 10 and 15 minute acitivites to do whilst drinking a cup of coffee (or in my case Irn Bru or a Hot Chocolate). It's by the same guy who does the Coffee Break French poscast.
Similar to your listening practise, doing a French dictation is also a good way to improve your listening skills. Eden from Learn to French does some good French dictation videos.
I specialize in teaching in English (I used to teach French in English-speaking schools) but there are plenty of channels that are only in French if you are looking for one :)
No, it would not be better! I chose Dylane's site to learn French as a raw beginner BECAUSE she teaches in English. Her excellent workbooks are also in English. I have sampled other presenters who teach in French instead of English and am certain that learning French starting as a raw beginner would have been much more difficult by that method.

@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane Merci :)
What about a podcast in French about Versailles, etc..things I like. How would I learn it.
I have my podcast where I talk about all that. It's French chit-chat with Dylane

Hi! It will be better if you speak in French in your videos and the learners use subtitles. We need to hear French 😢 please 🙏🏾
Yes this would help more actually great idea 💡

No, that would not help.
I often listen to Dylan while I am driving around. 🚗 🌳

No. Current method is just fine...
