Memories Of You - Easy Piano Chord Voicings (2 versions)

For this jazz standard, I've created 2 versions: one that's in the ballad style and the other one in a medium swing tempo. The second version uses the same notes as the first one but in order to add more movement I've broken some chords and anticipated/delayed others. The music was composed by Eubie Blake with lyrics by Andy Razaf.
For most of it, I utilized only the chord tones that go up to the 7th. The purpose of this video is to offer an easy way into the Jazz world for beginners or pianists who don't know where to start when studying Jazz. The chord voicings are simple and follow roughly the same principle. After you get them under your fingers you will be able to easily play more and more Jazz repertoire. Have fun learning and playing this arrangement!
