- Open.BVE is finally on the channel and I am making a series covering all the London Underground (Tube) Lines available for the game with gameplay showcasing the routes and trains. The District Line is next up in the series and we shall be driving in the C Stock train from Edgware Road to Putney Bridge, Enjoy.

The voice on the Piccadilly Line is Julie Berry. She also does the announcements on Southern, Southeastern and a few other services.

This is Notting Hill Gate. Change for the Central Line. This is a District line train to Putney Bridge. I love the Sarah announcements.
This is monument Change for central line and Northern line and DLR from Bank the next station is cannon Street this is the circle line train to Edgware road
This is Wimbledon where this train termnats here all Change
This is Whitechapel change for London Overground the next station is Algate East this is the Hammersmith and city line train to Hammersmith

Are you going to do some main line routes, such as network west midlands, or the celtic train sim routes? (Just google them)
I have the same pet peeve about the tube with the colours of the poles
The announcer that says "this station is" instead of "this is" is Celia Drummond on the Northern and Jubilee lines only.
I'd recommend the H&C with this C Stock. Brilliant combination.
pro trick : watch series on kaldrostream. Been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.

I like the C stock
The Circle Line was extended down to run with the Hammersmith & City Line to Hammersmith in December 2009, only 3 carriages of the C-stock are preserved, one at the London Transport Museum Depot (5721), One at Royal Greenwich UTC (5701) and the last at a primary school playground in Plumstead (5720). The Bay/Terminating platform 2 was converted into a through platform in May 2016 platform 3 had it's track lifted and is now fenced off.

they could have kept plat 3 as a terminus space?
Unfortunately the platforms were extended in such a way that the bridge structure only has room for the through platforms. I guess from Tfl's point of view it wouldn't make sense to have a second terminating station so close to Parsons Green which can be used to turn round trains. Also Tfl would be keen to have a simple track layout near Putney Bridge heading over Fulham Rail bridge as this is where the Network Rail boundary is and Network Rail have flat out refused Tfl to run trains under ATO on their track from East Putney to Wimbledon. On the plus side the platform extension at Putney Bridge means that the watch tower that was the detonating point for explosives placed under the bridge during WW2 won't be demolished.
I really love the announcements on the jubilee line, but I agree with you that the "This train terminates at .... North Greenwich" is not at all fluid.
It's because Anita used to do all the announcements on the Jubilee, so it would have all the stations. It would have cost more to record all the terminus announcements so it just says 'This train terminates at' and then the computer has to work out which station it is.

First of all "Anne" does not exist on the Underground, the name of the Bakerloo line, D Stock and the first announcements on the C Stock are voiced by Emma Clarke. All new announcements are Sarah Parnell after Emma got fired. The Piccadilly line is Julie Berry. The Northern line is Celia Drummond. The Jubilee line is Celia Drummond and "ANITA". Talking of robotic sounding announcements-think about the Elizabeth line!

You can only blame yourself on the overshoot. You started braking halfway through the station and didn’t even put full brakes. Don’t blame the c stock for that overshoot

Shame the D stocks never went on the South Kensington to Edgware Road district line branch in real life as the platforms are not suitable for the D stock trains

I am a normal commuter on the Jubilee Line. I agree with you on the old announcement with it being good but now they changed and I hate them. I liked the old announcement of All Change Please. The new one ruined it.

The reason why most links are broken is because unfortunately BVE is dying to so many other simulators that are more advanced in terms of user friendliness and features etc and BVE is just not advanced let alone developed enough to attract a wide number of gamers :/ It's sad really

No Problem. Hopefully it works. It's not too detailed though. Doors don't open but still it has the correct sound effects etc.. Glad to be of help.
oh and btw do you know how to get rid of the timetable sheet at the beginning when you load it up in openbve

This looks nowhere near as good as the TML London Underground Simulator
I like the train texture ofc the tml version is miles better as its in a 3d engine for starters :D
