- The London Underground District Line is in Train Simulator 2017 with this cool community made Virtual District Lines map where you can drive D78 Stock (and 1973 stock) around south west london. Time to drive the Piccadilly Line 1973 stock from Hammersmith to Ealing Broadway on a District Line replacement service!

this confuses me ik the title is train simulator but which train simulator do i need because the picture there says railworks which was released in 2009 so which one do i need because on steam theres train simulator 2018 and theres a site where i can buy train simulator 2017 so i just wanted to know which one do i get?

Railworks and Train Simulator are the same thing. It just updates, so any version will work. :)

The Piccadilly line trains use the district line tracks even on normal days sometimes. I experienced it once on the way back from uni

This is how the announcements went from acton town when the piccadilly line went to ealing broadway: Please mind the gap between the train and the platform, this is acton town, change here for the district and piccadilly line services to other destinations. This is a piccadilly line service to, ealing common.

Piccadilly line trains will be running on the local line aka district line tracks this weekend (from tomorrow) due to engineering works :-)

8:34 there actually is I've heard it and so have several other cranks the recording not only lists the Ravenscourt Park, Stamford Brook and Chiswick Park but also West Kensington, High Street Kensington as well as Ealing Broadway.

How do you turn of the cab alarm if you are driving in simple control mode.
Great video qwerty from your loyal subscriber, been here since train simulator 2013, at some stations, both southern or other train companies stop at stations with London Underground trains but is there any stations where both national rail companies and London Underground use the same platform.
probably some of the last stops near Amersham or the Met line that share with chiltern :)
Hey qwerty I installed the map and loads of texture's (including the track) as not loaded and I was wondering if there are any DLC or SETTINGS requirmants I need thx p.s love your vids
Piccadilly line trains use the westbound local between Hammersmith and Acton Town if there’s disruption on the fast. They can no longer use the eastbound local between Acton Town and Hammersmith due to the points at Hammersmith having been removed.
The speed restriction on the fast is 45mph and weak field is cut in at all times when driving regardless of location.
Piccadilly line trains never go to High Street Kensington.
The DVA has all the stations between Hammersmith and Acton Town available should the trains stop there which they still can on the fast but only if there’s disruption (such as trains being held in platforms or an issue with district line trains being unable to serve those stations).
Please, what is the shortcut for unlocking the direction handle?
Can you still get this one? The only one I’ve found is the London overground and the metropolitan line

Very good simulation but I wonder how many flights were missed as the destination was for Heathrow.
btw the "shunting signal like depot lights things" are called subsidiary signals :)

22:02 i think they're mainly for the District Line but the Central Line can use them
32:53 those are shunting traffic lights. 2 red dots means stop and 2 white dots means go. these are used for shunting.

Piccadilly Line 1973 Tube Stock
Qwerty Afro take a look at the tube map they share track at times but mainly stop at the same stops but on different tracks. If it's big works then yes they do run on the district line. The lines that the district line shares with are the Hammersmith and city line and the circle line. And huge congratulations on you graduation hope for the best in your amazing channel and your future

Hey man, a couple of questions:
1.) Are the only requirements for this London to Brighton, Paddington to Oxford and The Isle of Wigt?
2.) Have you seen that JT are making a detailed working S8 stock that is driveable and better than their chiltern ai?
3.) Does this route go to any stations on the Heathrow line or up to Uxbridge?
Man this Is a real picadily line becouse the destination is the same as some of the picadily line serveces

Yes, it's "freeware"(and very, very nice...thank you to the creators), but it should be understood you will need about $80 worth of DLCs to run properly

Sometimes during busy times the Piccadilly line dosnt go from ravenscourt park to turnham green but non busy they do stop at it
Rayat Hasan They only stop at Turnham been before 7:30 and after 22:30. They don't stop at any between Hammersmith and Acton Town normally
That wouldn't be possible to drive doors open as there's a dòor lock

Don’t you just wish in train simulator you can actually have a person to control instead of moving the mouse around it’s time train simulator need to start having greater ideas. Boy if I was in tuned with this game designing I’d be figuring out a way to go all out and make this game the train simulator game for the next 5 years.

QwertyAfro no no. Only when the district is down. I never understand it. Look on TH-cam there are some videos of it.
QwertyAfro the last time they were at Ealing Broadway was when the Christmas holiday was on and track works cut the district line off ealing. Therefore the Piccadilly would have an hourly service into ealing and out east bound and continue towards cockfosters
