Hello! nice video !!! i want to know please, if i can install hackintosh in my mother Gigabyte Ga 880gm Usb3, with a procesador AMD Phenom™II (x4). Thanks a lot!
Can I run this setup (mobo 370 + core i5 8600k) with other older osx? I run with Mojave, High Sierra and Sierra, but cant run with El Capitan.
is this for all gigabyte motherboards ?
Hi, I have a gigabyte h370n wifi and planning to swap it out for another MOBO. The current MOBO apparently has one ram slot damaged and can only use one slot. Can you recommend me another MOBO my specs are : i5 8600k, 16gb ram, Geforce GTX 1070
my videos are full of recommendations to good boards, for example this one you commenting under
if you disable CSM , i'll get a secure boot option.. what about that? thanks :)
My system is, GIGABYTE Z390 designare, bur now I can't set up Bios boot by USB memory. I watched another video, but always Z390 BIOS setting displays, not start to install MacOS by USB.
Hello, thank for your awesome video.
I follow your Bios setting and my new desktop have and issue with blinking cursor.

@@MorgonautHackintosh Do I need a wired keyboard and mouse to do the setup

The F10 may be compatible but from what I have read and used myself I found F8 worked best for my setup and many other people

@@MorgonautHackintosh ok i tried that and PC keeps on restarting
I would never recommend your board for hackintoshing, I showed already lot of boards that I recommend and verified

Hi Morgonaut, newbie from Malaysia. It is possible to run in my budget GA-H110M-DS2 (rev. 1.0), Asus GTX1060 6gb and I5-6400? tq
on High Sierra probably yes
Morgonaut Thank you so much. By following your video, I Will start this project during these lockdown period.
go ahead :)
Done everything you’ve done step by step but after loading bar reaches half way the display goes off black screen ? System info 18,3 ? No dgpu just intergrated graphics.
it's already obvious problem you said in your short message - it of course cannot work
Which SMBIOs should I be using ?
Z390 auros pro , i7-8700
16GB ram
Intel graphics only 630
imac18,1
I installed MacOS on my secondary drive, mounted the EFI folder as instructed but cannot see the option for dual boot in my Gigabyte motherboard after reboot and removing the USB drive, as it only shows the Windows boot manager. I did run the bootloader command in Win 11 using administrative privileges using cmd. What step did I miss? Can anyone help thanks.
@manon165 - you should never dual boot using the stupid "old way" at forst place, it's very dangerous and I made even video about it. I made also video about much better way = "thge new way" and showed triple boot = 3 systems AT THE SAME TIME = no need to reboot at all. Why don't you watch it on my channel? It's good for you, not for me...
is there a way to disable that BEEP sound on startup?
where on your site can i find your efi/clover folder on your site?
I love You ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Thank
you're welcome selamu
i have been running hackintosh for a while now...Opencore guide i followed....z390 Aorus Master, 32gb Trindentz, i7 9700k..... processor is oc'd to 4.9ghz and manual voltage of 1.29v, llc turbo.....in windows it is rock steady but in hackintosh it keeps freezing...also i see that in hackintosh the voltage drops as the frequency drops...which is contradictory to my bios settings....kindly help pls😭
simply don't overclock :)
Hello, Gigabyte H310M H2.0 motherboard can this run on Mac osx?
try it, then let others know
How I could make Big Sur working on GA Z77-D3H ver. 1.1? I would like to have dual boot with windows 10. I am still using High Sierra. I would like to get Big Sur but i need to get another GPU probably. I have Gigabyte GTX 750 Ti in use at the moment.
most probably I could :) I can make it working almost on any motherboard
@@MorgonautHackintosh a working efi folder would be nice to have. I guess opencore is the best option. I have been using clover until now. Opencore seems to be harder to make.
I don't use the prehistoric stupid hackintosh way using clover or opencore at all anymore when I have much better solution which I use on all my builds and help to people build it all around the globe
Not showing any boot priorities options.
What to do
Okay so I have an AMD system. I'd like to make a hackintosh out of it. I hear this is possible with opencore. I've followed multiple guides but the installation is stuck saying "OCB: StartImage failed - Already started"
Does anyone have any insight I can use to get past this? I've read it may be to do with the CFG Lock in the BIOS but my motherboard doesn't seem to have this setting.
Hardware:
Aorus Elite X570
Ryzen 9 3950x
32GB DDR4 Crucial
AMD RX560
I am in the process of buying a Gigabyte H310m H DDR4 Lga1151 generation8 motherboard AND an Intel Core i5 8400k Lga1151 4.0ghz 9mb 8generation processor, do you think this can work with Hackintosh MacOS Mojave.?? I need to know if it's a great combination for Hackintosh build. Thanks ma-am.
I would not recommend your board, CPU is OK.
Morgonaut oh thanks ma-am but the boards you recommend are not sold here in BR so what can I do?
order it from other country :)
In my case NO boot options at Gigabyte Aorus PRO, why ??
Great video. I'd love to see the bios settings in case I'd want to use the ASUS Mini-ITX Z390i motherboard.
why don't you watch my video about ASUS bios settings I released week ago?? :(
@@MorgonautHackintosh I did watch it. but thought that was for only Z370 motherboards. So what you're saying is it works for all types of ASUS motherboards...
Thanks making that clear.. :) and thanks a lot for all the videos you post. They're great. I think you should make a video on overclocking...
the same principles you can apply to most Asus boards. I can't shoot video about EACH board available on the planet. Overclocking? I think there is 100000x times more videos on OC already shot on YT. But thanks, I'm glad you like my videos and my work. If my tutorials helped you, I would aprecciate your help too, on my Patreon www.patreon.com/morgonaut or any PayPal donation would be highly aprecciated, so I can continue to shoot those useful videos.
Very nice
thank you саша
Thanks for your Video !
I have very stable configuration on Gigabyte motherboard. I run on High Sierra and for my work I need multiple Nvidia gpu like 3D rendering for example. Do you have work with this kind of configuration?
yes, I was running Redshift on some machines
Nice ! I run Octane with one 1080 ti and one 1060. But for some reasons, i have to plug my display on the second Gpu otherwise it's very slow in the interface with the first gpu. Do you have heard something about this kind of problem? Thks :)
no, I have also one render server with 6 P106 and no display connected and I have no problems
OK, no problem !
Also, do you have ever build an iMac pro Like? with X299 motherboard?
my 8700k beats the 8 core iMacPro, upcoming i9-9900k beats even the 14core. Do you really need X299? :)
Hello morgonaut,
Nice PC which you build there. I've asked last time but I didn't get an answer maybe you didn't see this message.
What do you think about this specs for a dual hackintosh? Because I want to buy this hardwares but I'm not sure if they works for a hackintosh.
Mainboard : Asus rog strix z390-E gaming sockel 1151
Processor: i5 9600k 6x 3,70GHz
Graphics card: Asus rog strix vega 64 PC gaming 8gb
RAM: corsair vengeance RGB Pro 16GB kit (2x8GB) DDR4-3200MHz
SSD: WD BLUE 1TB 2.5 Zoll
your board is not tested by myself, so can't recommend it personaly. And as you know from my videos, I strongly don't recommend dual boot with Windows.
Morgonaut I'm new at your channel, why don't you recommend dual boot?
why don't you watch my video about dual boot?
Morgonaut 😅 right I will watch it👍

Hi! You videos are very interesting! How about a video for MSI Motherboard? I have an MSI H370 Gaming Pro Carbon.
Thanks a lot for sharing your infos!
thank you Andrea. Sorry, I'm not a millionaire, I can't afford buy ALL motherboards on the planet just to justify someone.
Morgonaut, of course, i understand it! I'm a newbie on Hackintosh scene and I'm trying to build my first Hackintosh with an MSI H370 Gaming Pro Carbon mobo + Intel i8400 2.8Ghz.
I follow your guide on installing Mojave with coffee lake plist but my system does not boot crashing on "denied icon" :-( so I follow similar guide to setting and updating BIOS on H370.
It should be wonderful if you can help me to solve this problem... thanks Anyway!
