I loved nitro planes but I have to remember the 'dead-stick' landing
The sound of your wing coming off is even sweeter.
The postman has just delivered this plane to my door. Will be powering it with a fourstroke engine. Its a nice looking plane.
This man is very brave to start the engine with his hands
the OS engine manual illustration shows doing it by hand. it's really not that dangerous. but blades can leave little cuts on your fingers

Nothing like a nitro! I got mine up to 102 mph. I put a small gps on it. You were probably going about that fast.

3:35 that thing must be so loud! My revo with trinity pipe is loud but the lower tone must be an entirely different experience
Brilliant flying. Well done to the pilot on a great display. This is a beautiful plane, well built and covered. I have a friend who is selling his and im tempted to buy it as its still in its box brand new. . Would you recommend it? Do you still have your Avistar? Does it have any weakness? Kind regards.

Dang I'd love to have one like that but I'd cry if it crashed lol
Yeah man, they are a blast. Well they use to have tons of parts for this but I think it was discontinued. So crashing it will be the end lol
Be sure to buy one with good parts support unless you are very experienced

It’s NOT nitro it’s a glow engine! There is no such thing as a “nitro engine”!
Replace the word NITRO with GLOW in my title lol. Doesn’t sound as cool huh? The RC car market coined the term Nitro as a marketing tool. But yeah glow engine fuels have NITROmethane in them
@@theRCelement Yes the car marketing guys are to blame for sure. And yes there is nitro in the glow fuel. For airplanes it’s 10-15% only. Calling glow fuel nitro would be like me callling the gasoline’s I use in my truck ethanol fuel, there’s only a small % of it. Nice airplane. Nice airplane by the way, I have the Avistar too.
So odd to see the new electric motors as I grew up around nitro planes as a teen. The entire nitro experience is so much fun! Gotta love the noise, almost soothing lol

Well i would consider it “pro” since nitro engines are real engines therefore you do need basic engine understanding and carb tuning because someone new to it will cook plugs or even engine
