Mr Jerry, just let him talk. When women talk, they have to constantly affirm each other with the interrupting with yes, no or, whatever else while the other person is talking. When men talk it's more turn based, I say something you say something and so on. The interrupting to affirm each other comes off more as a distraction

  • @welcomeback777

Watching Jeremy in this recent interview felt like an unexpected trip to the shallow end of the talent pool. As the old saying goes, *"When the tide goes out, you see who’s swimming naked."* And boy, did Jeremy look underdressed for a conversation with someone as commanding as Chris Voss. Jeremy came off as a light-class actor trying to hold his own in a heavyweight interview. He seemed out of sync, almost threatened, as if Chris were a competitor from across the pond stealing his thunder. Instead of leaning into the conversation, Jeremy interrupted Chris repeatedly, often for no discernible reason-almost as if he was grasping for a way to stay relevant in the moment. What stood out most, though, was Jeremy’s inability to genuinely connect. His mannerisms felt overly rehearsed, his approach shallow, and his method downright contrived. Where Chris exudes authenticity and mastery, Jeremy seemed like an amateur auditioning for a role he wasn't quite ready to play. It’s tough to take someone seriously when their “method” feels more like manipulation than mastery.
Perhaps Jeremy should focus less on his airtime and more on learning how to engage in meaningful dialogue-until then, he’ll remain an understudy in a room full of leading men.
