Hey guys! Hope you enjoy watching this video :D Honestly, there's so much more to see in Vellore (like the famous Golden Temple) but unfortunately I wasn't allowed to film there so couldn't include it. Hope you like the video nonetheless
Coming From Uganda, I have lived in Vellore for the last 5 years.I have never gotten used to the beauty in this place. Thanks for letting people know about it.
I am from west bengal...i visited vellore 7 times..to treatment my mom..at CMC hospital...so i have a happy and pain past with velloree...feeling so related❤❤
Please don't get me wrong, despite living in Vellore for more than 17 years you are still struggling with Tamil.Love your vlogs.Keep up the good work.Great going.
I knew little about Vellore .This video threw light on the city and helped people to know diversity of India. For me,it enlightens about South and its beauty. Australian journalist Sarah Macdonald rightly said “India is beyond statement, for anything you say, the opposite is also true. It's rich and poor, spiritual and material, cruel and kind, angry but peaceful, ugly and beautiful, and smart but stupid. It's all the extremes'. thanks
i am an older man born and brought up from Kasba-Vellore. Though I moved out of Vellore in 1983, after finishing off my college, I still cherish the beautiful memories of Vellore. Thanks for your blog showing off the in-roads of Vellore-Fort. The nostalgia with Vellore never ends...
Hi, happened to see your blog on Vellore. I spent three years of my childhood in this city where my father was posted as Deputy Registrar of Co-op Societies. My family, i.e. my brother and sisters, still cherish the happiest time we spent in this city. There used to be a toy train that ran along the ramparts of the fort (beyond the moat), the co-op super market near it, the ice cream shop in the market, the dinosaur made of used tyres in front of Gandhi Statue, the Jallikattu at Velappadi Sankaranpalayam, the pongal mela there. We stayed in a street called Eda Street, full of Yadav community people, so loving and caring. My family was known as Iyer family in the street and we used to get fresh unadulterated milk every day early morning evening from our house owner's ghoshaala. We as children used to color the horns of the bulls and cows during Pongal time and take them around the area in festive procession. I now live in Delhi and am planning to take my family during our next visit down South. Thank you for kindling my curiosity
Rathanagiri Murugan Temple is also a good place to visit. It's a small hill. You can see the Temple in Tamizh Movie called Thillaalangadi(starring Jayam Ravi & Tamana). The marriage chasing scene between Jayam Ravi and Nalini.
hi i m from Bangladesh ur vellore is more popular for CMC every yr i came to vellore. i also visit sultan fort gold temple it’s really amazing place. btw thank u for ur information . good job 👍
Loved watching this!!! I feel like India has so much of tourist options to offer, but we don't do enough to market it to the world..this video does the perfect job 😊
I made a short burst into Vellore town 2-3 years back. Didn't see much change except for the hustle and bustle when compared to my visit way back in 96/97 to the jalakandeswarar temple and Vellore fort when I was in 6th std. I still remember the gorgeous structure of the fort and the temple.
Hi Kritika I used to stay in Vellore for my college (VIT). Ur video made me nostalgic. I had visited all the places with my friends that u have shown here. China town used to be the restaurant when we wanted to treat ourselves with some good food a little far from our university campus. And palamathi hills is special to me coz my I took my date who is now my husband, to palamathi hills when he had come to meet me for the first time from Bangalore LOL. Vellore fort was our hang out place in the weekends. It would have been really great if u could also include Golden temple in this video. Thanks a lot for making this video. Love u.
Superb Kritika ,Fantastic job ,Great photography. Though i am not from Vellore. I was born here ar CMC Hospital Vellore some 40 years back.My mother was admitted in CMC Hospital for treatment of Meningitis which is a very rare disease. She was in coma for 6 months. But miracles happened ,Thanks to the dedicated Doctors and Staff @ CMC.She had rebirth.I mean she recovered totally. Post her recovery Me and my brother both were born at Vellore CMC.As the doctors advised my parents to have Labor at CMC.I had visited this city only twice. But somewhare we are indebted to this place where we are born. Felt some where i am connected to this place. God bless you !!!!!

Lovely glimpse of your hometown, it is beautiful and so much like my birthplace, Puerto Rico, a tiny island in the Caribbean.
