Stunningly beautiful in the tragedy, conflicts, violence, drama, and overall what Kenshin goes through to slowly lose himself in what he believes is a righteous cause.

There's tons of brutal anime every year. Do you mean it isn't shown on tv outside Japan? Genuine question, I may be out of touch on current trends.
@@kyodj5 I think it's that the violence in these older anime feels more brutal and deliberate. More modern shows tend to make the violence and gore a core element, so it feels diluted. In the Kenshin anime specifically violence like this is so rare because the main character is all about avoiding violence. When this scene hit it was like a gut punch.

幼い剣心を庇って斬られた３人は、後の星霜編にて姉妹だったとわかりました。まだ生きていた親のいる自分と妹たちより、たった１日会っただけの幼い孤児を命懸けで守ろうとするなんてなかなかできないこと。そんな素敵な人だったから、たとえ幼かろうと自分より彼女に生き残ってほしかったんでしょうね。
とても悲しい内容だけど写実的で作画もかなり良い

モブキャラの三姉妹も、きちんと描かれていたのが良かったです。剣心の人生を決めるきっかけになった人たち。着物の色、帯の型、髪型。細やかな設定されていますね。
When I finished watching OVA 6 over 20 years ago I felt so depressed. Kenshin is a very good anime overall. Watch it from the very beginning, Samurai X, all the OVAs and episodes and you will understand

Trust and Betrayal was a killer of an anime movie.
It was greater than even the main Rurouni Kenshin series. The series is for little boys, the movie was for men.
I want them to remake it with modern animation but with the exact same character designs, all scenes kept the same, with the original voice acting kept in place. I'd watch it over and over.

@@tiffles3890 they doing cgi 3d crap nowadays, its horrible. Compared to the new samurai x series, the old stuff is still better
@@bvhia I don't like the CGI 3D thing, like in Onimusha.
But other than that, everything else is objectively better than the old stuff. The new RRK series is objectively better than the old one.
I agree it would be great. But I'm fine with it as is, after all these years. I'm getting old though, I appreciate things in a new way.

@@venveng yes, I know the plot. But that doesn't fall under NTR category unfortunately. Also cheating and NTR are different. NTR is specifically for being cuckolded and the party being cheated is secretly aware of it.
