When Trina sagged back to the desk after Cyrus left the gallery, my heart went with her. Wow. What scenes we got this episode! I loved that Spencer held back but was ready to step in when enough was enough, and how he was there for her once she let go. Trina’s full voice and agency were on display and I loved every moment. Congratulations to Tabyana on an incredible performance. I hope she, Nicholas and Jeff get more scenes together because the three of them were dynamite. Bravo!
Bravo to Trina especially and to Cyrus (who was shocked at Trina) and Spencer. Cyrus & Spencer saw the talent that Trina showed, and both loved it (I can tell).

These scenes were worth waiting for. All the actors, especially TA, delivered. SN: I burst out laughing when Trina snatched that dove. TA has really quick reflexes/speed, as we have learned. My most favorite part is when her knees almost buckled and you can see her shift some of her emotional weight onto Spencer, when she first hugged him after Cyrus left. Bravo, Taby.
I will say that I like Spencer standing back and allowing Trina to get her words in and get everything off her chest before he steps in and tells Cyrus to leave. He knows Trina so well, he knew when she had reached her limit.
You can tell when a group of actors work good together and Jeff is already a great actor. He knows how to play a villain he's been around long enough and Nic and Tab were working with him you can see it. Even tho Tab wasn't the original actress when that scene happened she's still possessed of the emotion and I love it

Trina did the damn thing today, the emotions felt so real....love you Spencer for swooping in and offering the comfort for Trina, well played. Cyrus was calm but he still came off looking as scary as hell😂😂😂.
Trina was able to hold her own with Cyrus and that must have been incredibly hard for her but she did it! I'm glad that Spencer didn't intervene. He stood back, still in protective mode while Trina handled unfinished business with Cyrus. You really can't say enough about how shaken Trina was by the encounter and how she kept it together in front of Cyrus. Trina and Spencer are each other safe space and that's why she let her guard down and be vulnerable in front of him. I'm glad that Trina was not alone to process. Spencer was there to reassure and comfort. I keep going back to Spencer telling Trina that he is crazy crazy in love with her....like, folks need to not push that man when it comes to Trina. Tatyana did the thing and Sprina remains that IT couple!!!!!

Trina went through hell with Cyrus, taking her and her mom as hostages and she was in high school. I do not think she had any counseling from that ordeal and the ordeal that she & Cameron went through being kidnapped. Trina did hold her own, and she is very feisty and was happy that Spencer showed up for backup. Spencer is crazy, crazy in love with her, and glad they have each other's back.
Wow. Yes Tabyana! Wonderful job today. I loved how Trina filled the space with her voice. As an adult women, she doesn't need a defender, she's strong when she needs to be, but it was also great to see her be able to 'exhale' and know that just as he promised, Spencer would catch her whenever needed. He would back her up. Protective Spencer activated "It's okay, I'm here, you are alright" Now... storyline-wise, Cyrus knows Nik is alive and hid him - Spencer is going to be so over his crazy uncles.

His heart of True love and protection for Trina was on full display through the whole scene. Both were outstanding ! ! ❤❤❤
Is it just me or did Spencer seem pretty pleased that honest Trina wanted him to keep a secret between the two of them. I think that’s something new for him. Having someone trust in him that much and for them to share something so emotional between the two of them.
@tr738, a darn good catch and I noticed he looked so proud that his love asked him to keep a secret for her. He knew at that moment that Trina really needed him for once in her life. Trina never asks Spencer for help; she tries to figure things out on her own. They are a couple now and she needed to lean on him for strength and she did.

The writers wrote this so Taby could flex her skills. Baravo! I think the writers are setting it up that Trina may have to ask Cyrus for something in the future. That last line between them wasn't a throw away line.

I don’t think she’ll ask him. I think he’ll take it on himself, to get in her good graces. She may get accused of asking him, like Esme may claim she did. Trina would never do anything underhanded like that. Especially with the likes of Cyrus.

Yeah… that line about someone could have died that night rings true for the drugging incident too. The only difference is Cyrus has his memories and Esme doesn’t. If she did, Trina never would have rallied to drop the charges until her memories returned. I would love to see her go off on the she-demon, but it’d be way more satisfying is she had her memories back first.
@nikkiwoods1167, I do not forgive Cyrus and his bible-talking self (he is faking) and I sure don't forgive Esme. She gave Trina 2 of those dangerous pills instead of 1 and laughed about it. She did put Oz in a coma and that drug is one of 2 dangerous drugs in my state, I lost a friend over 4 years ago to it. He combined liquor with it. My state ranks in the top 3 or 5 states in the USA with an extreme death rate from this drug. So, hell no, she gets no pass from me. I am so pissed off with this story because I think of my friend who was old enough to not be caught up in the drug scene and lost his life. GH knows the fans have not forgiven Esme and they keep pushing her face in our faces.

As much as I LOVED today’s scenes… Taggert’s absence is glaringly obvious. Either put him back on screen or give a convincing reason for why he’s not being mentioned or involved. I’d rather not have a repeat of the HS storyline where we learned why he was absent after the fact. Stupid that he was never mentioned (even as a throw away line) during the entire saga.

I wondered the same thing. He seemed to started to stop Cyrus, then as Trina recanted what happened, he looked like he was listening. Of course he knew Cyrus had Laura, but maybe he just heard there were other hostages and didn’t know who they were. He tried to take the turtle doves back bc Cyrus was a bad guy, but I can’t see him giving them to her at all if he knew what Cyrus had done to her. I don’t even think he would of taken them in the first place.

She did need his help. She needed him to be there to comfort her after she finished tearing Cyrus to shred for everything that he did to her. If Spencer was not present, he would have insisted on talking to Trina and continue to ask for forgiveness when he already knew that she wasn't having it. I also appreciate that Spencer was there to see the pain and hurt that she was feeling because she is going to need him to keep Cyrus away from her. Having witnessed Trina in that vulnerable state, Spencer is going to keep a closer eye on her to make sure she is OK. LONG LIVE SPRINA.

I can pretty much guarantee that Spencer is going to borrow those same words in his dealing with evil Esme continuously using that baby of hers to get her way. I have no doubt that the evidence that Spencer has locked away will come in handy sometime soon. Maybe it will be Cyrus' creepy ways that will bring evil Esme to her senses. I went back and watched the hostage scenes. Interesting that Curtis almost dying after Cyrus shot him wasn’t mentioned. Cyrus was horrible. Constantly threatening Portia and Trina. Portia kept begging him to let Trina go and he wouldn’t.

Went in without a vest and was shot when Laura was surprised by him and alerted Cyrus. It allowed Jordan to get in and shoot Cyrus, but if she wasn’t quick, Cyrus could have killed Laura thinking she set him up.

Is it just me or did Spencer seem pretty pleased that honest Trina wanted him to keep a secret between the two of them. I think that’s something new for him. Having someone trust in him that much and for them to share something so emotional between the two of them.
@tr738, a darn good catch and I noticed he looked so proud that his love asked him to keep a secret for her. He knew at that moment that Trina really needed him for once in her life. Trina never asks Spencer for help; she tries to figure things out on her own. They are a couple now and she needed to lean on him for strength and she did.

Yeah… that line about someone could have died that night rings true for the drugging incident too. The only difference is Cyrus has his memories and Esme doesn’t. If she did, Trina never would have rallied to drop the charges until her memories returned. I would love to see her go off on the she-demon, but it’d be way more satisfying is she had her memories back first.
@nikkiwoods1167, I do not forgive Cyrus and his bible-talking self (he is faking) and I sure don't forgive Esme. She gave Trina 2 of those dangerous pills instead of 1 and laughed about it. She did put Oz in a coma and that drug is one of 2 dangerous drugs in my state, I lost a friend over 4 years ago to it. He combined liquor with it. My state ranks in the top 3 or 5 states in the USA with an extreme death rate from this drug. So, hell no, she gets no pass from me. I am so pissed off with this story because I think of my friend who was old enough to not be caught up in the drug scene and lost his life. GH knows the fans have not forgiven Esme and they keep pushing her face in our faces.

As much as I LOVED today’s scenes… Taggert’s absence is glaringly obvious. Either put him back on screen or give a convincing reason for why he’s not being mentioned or involved. I’d rather not have a repeat of the HS storyline where we learned why he was absent after the fact. Stupid that he was never mentioned (even as a throw away line) during the entire saga.

I wondered the same thing. He seemed to started to stop Cyrus, then as Trina recanted what happened, he looked like he was listening. Of course he knew Cyrus had Laura, but maybe he just heard there were other hostages and didn’t know who they were. He tried to take the turtle doves back bc Cyrus was a bad guy, but I can’t see him giving them to her at all if he knew what Cyrus had done to her. I don’t even think he would of taken them in the first place.

She did need his help. She needed him to be there to comfort her after she finished tearing Cyrus to shred for everything that he did to her. If Spencer was not present, he would have insisted on talking to Trina and continue to ask for forgiveness when he already knew that she wasn't having it. I also appreciate that Spencer was there to see the pain and hurt that she was feeling because she is going to need him to keep Cyrus away from her. Having witnessed Trina in that vulnerable state, Spencer is going to keep a closer eye on her to make sure she is OK.

As I reviewed yesterday's clip again, I realized something very important that I have not commented on...and that is Trina saying to Spencer that she should not have allowed Cyrus or anyone to have that much power over her. I can pretty much guarantee that Spencer is going to borrow those same words in his dealing with evil Esme continuously using that baby of hers to get her way. I have no doubt that the evidence that Spencer has locked away will come in handy sometime soon. Maybe it will be Cyrus' creepy ways that will bring evil Esme to her senses. Whatever the case maybe, I find Cyrus' words to Trina (if you ever need anything, you just have to ask) very ominous and a possible prelude to a storyline that may pit Cyrus against evil Esme or vice versa. @@marshagreen9759 Yeah he was. It was actually stupid. He found out from Trina that her bedroom window was open, instead of sending a SWAT person in, he tried to be a hero. Went in without a vest and was shot when Laura was surprised by him and alerted Cyrus. It allowed Jordan to get in and shoot Cyrus, but if she wasn’t quick, Cyrus could have killed Laura thinking she set him up.

I like the pairing of Spencer and Trina but I don't trust the writers! I don't see them going the distance like Dex and Joss! I wish that officer would have stuck around for Trina. Everytime in soap world, every interracial couple have to deal with a white woman as competition! For example, One Life to Live John and Evangeline (Natalie), Matthew and Destiny (Daniel) now Spencer and Trina (Esme). In my opinion, Spencer seemed detached to me!
