I made it through the first watch without crying but the 2nd time really hit me. I'm so glad Spencer got to hear these words. I'm not sure why people assumed Sprina would get married at such a young age. This is a soap. That kinda thing never works out because the writers of these kinds of shows hate steady couples. They love messiness and drama. That's what keeps the daily storylines moving. While I would love to see that too it's not realistic. However it would be nice to see NAC come back for a short stint to give them a happy ending and send them off. Not being on canvas is the only way Sprina will get an endgame happy marriage unfortunately. Then I hope Taby leaves for greener pastures like NAC did. She deserves better.

In all honesty, I'm still surprised he's alive. GH managed to erase all of their African American men to the mob/mob violence. I didn't expect TJ to be any different. I leave, come back, and find that he's not only still alive, but he and Molly are still together, and he's rooted an entire black family tree. In my estimation, he did his job. No, they don't have the chemistry of Sprina, no one does. That bar is high. I don't think GH cares about chemistry. Tolly exists for now. But I wouldn't count them out yet.

The Sprina dialogue today was all that we have wanted for months (years) - the declaration of love almost sounded like vows. 🤌🏽😍 I literally cried. 😭 Finally, Spencer knows he is worthy of love. I loved Trina being so free to express herself. ❤ side note: when esme says “can’t steal away from her that easily” she means Trina taking Spencer from her just like she told Heather. That being said, Esme's actions today prove not only did she kill her adoptive parents, but when she flies into a rage she becomes violent and when she comes to, and the reality of what happened shocks her, she blocks it out, or perhaps buries it. And before she was found on the Haunted Star something triggered her amnesia. Something happened long before she was found that triggered it, and what that is anyone's guess. But from what i've read, dissociative amnesia can be triggered by childhood trauma. Of course we don't know anything regarding what her relationship with her adoptive parents, but i guarantee, her trauma lies in her murdering them. So what we saw today isn't new with her. P.S. Damn, Laura, Portia, and anybody else who stood by and continued to cosign this heifer.

she's overstayed her welcome...I think too they are piling on Spencer because NAC is making them his sub. They always give the actor with the impending absence or exit the shaft but it usually recalibrates upon reentry.
It’s crazy when you really think about it. They met in 2021. Immediate sparks(Spencer later admitting it was love at first sight). And yet fans got so few of those typical milestones bc the show decided to drag their feet telling the story. One of soaps biggest pairings in years and fans often had to settle for consolation prizes. I can say with certainty after how GH handled Sprina, I will never be this invested again in a tv pairing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a show put together a couple, then clearly not want to follow through, but the agenda was clear as day.

When Spencer surprised Trina on the boat (which I thought he would stay away from after their last experience on the haunted star). He told her where they were going and the look on Trina's face like she was going cry ; and she was looking out then Spencer looked out to see what she was looking at. The way she expressed her graditude for everything he's done , showed her that she deserves the world and her hearts desire. When she told him that loving him and being loved by him is the greatest feeling ever. Spencer saying how she showed him real love and that he deserved to be loved too it felt like they were saying their wedding vows. I know that tomorrow is his last day and maybe Trina will be leaving soon too , but I feel when they reunite in Feb. Spencer will ask Trina to marry him. Or don't be surprised if it's Trina who asks Spencer to marry her. Some are saying that she could be pregnant and that's why she yawned , I know it would give her a good storyline if she remains in PC. They could’ve rearranged or swapped out the furniture, changed the paint/color scheme and lighting….maybe added wall decor and flower arrangements. It feels kinda lazy. The Sprina dialogue today was all that we have wanted for months (years) - the declaration of love almost sounded like vows. 🤌🏽😍 I literally cried. 😭 Finally, Spencer knows he is worthy of love. I loved Trina being so free to express herself. ❤ side note: when esme says “can’t steal away from her that easily” she means Trina taking Spencer from her just like she told Heather. It’s annoying that some random ‘I’m just trying to find Ace’ line gets tossed in there to appease the esme apologists. (Thanks for posting LMMN)
The reunion will be EPIC you guys. And yes, those sounded like marriage vows. That being said, Esme's actions today prove not only did she kill her adoptive parents, but when she flies into a rage she becomes violent and when she comes to, and the reality of what happened shocks her, she blocks it out, or perhaps buries it. And before she was found on the Haunted Star something triggered her amnesia. Something happened long before she was found that triggered it, and what that is anyone's guess. But from what i've read, dissociative amnesia can be triggered by childhood trauma. Of course we don't know anything regarding what her relationship with her adoptive parents, but i guarantee, her trauma lies in her murdering them. So what we saw today isn't new with her.

she's overstayed her welcome...I think too they are piling on Spencer because NAC is making them his sub. They always give the actor with the impending absence or exit the shaft but it usually recalibrates upon reentry.

It’s crazy when you really think about it. They met in 2021. Immediate sparks(Spencer later admitting it was love at first sight). And yet fans got so few of those typical milestones bc the show decided to drag their feet telling the story. One of soaps biggest pairings in years and fans often had to settle for consolation prizes.
I can say with certainty after how GH handled Sprina, I will never be this invested again in a tv pairing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a show put together a couple, then clearly not want to follow through, but the agenda was clear as day.
@ totally agree.. I think they didn’t want to put them together in the first place. As always they underestimated how popular they would become and decided to slow walk the relationship for pretty obvious reasons. Shame on them.

I give credit to Nick and Taby for supporting the pairing. I truly believe if they were silent, we wouldn’t have gotten what we did….and notice how we haven’t gotten a recast Spencer?

When Spencer surprised Trina on the boat (which I thought he would stay away from after their last experience on the haunted star). He told her where they were going and the look on Trina's face like she was going cry ; and she was looking out then Spencer looked out to see what she was looking at. The way she expressed her graditude for everything he's done , showed her that she deserves the world and her hearts desire. When she told him that loving him and being loved by him is the greatest feeling ever. Spencer saying how she showed him real love and that he deserved to be loved too it felt like they were saying their wedding vows. I know that tomorrow is his last day and maybe Trina will be leaving soon too , but I feel when they reunite in Feb. Spencer will ask Trina to marry him. Or don't be surprised if it's Trina who asks Spencer to marry her. Some are saying that she could be pregnant and that's why she yawned , I know it would give her a good storyline if she remains in PC. There's already a baby story going on now let TJ and Molly have this , and we can focus on Trina and Spencer getting married when he returns.

It wasn’t typically a soap thing but my god how they have slipped. I know they have budget constraints but they need to do something better!
I don’t mind them reusing the set. I just wish they would’ve repurposed it to look more European. They could’ve rearranged or swapped out the furniture, changed the paint/color scheme and lighting….maybe added wall decor and flower arrangements. It feels kinda lazy. I get that the budget could be tight but this doesn’t feel like a private cruise in Paris. It feels like Greenland the extended cut.
Absolute we repurpose all the time in production but like you’re saying there’s a muuuch better and frankly more clever way to do it. I agree it feels like complacency. I wouldn’t be surprised if this team is a union crew with folks who have been on it for a looooong time
