- This is my design team project for @Rubyandpearl.xo where I’m creating this really simple tag holder using one sheet of paper. These are perfect for using in journals, happy mail, as a card, etc. I hope you find some inspiration here! Love your craft with me, Heather! You do really good with the voice overs! I struggle with that, so I just try to talk as I go, but often get interrupted. Lol. And I sometimes get all my words wrong! Lol. 🤦😂

It's super cute Heather! I love your voice overs! Matter of fact, how do you do that, because I'm not totally comfortable speaking on my videos yet and I would love to know how you accomplish that. If you have a moment to let me know, I'd appreciate it!
Oh thank you! You are so sweet Nancy🤗 I honestly just dive in and try my best to stay focused on what I’m doing in the video and talking thru it like I’m talking to a friend and explaining what I’m making. If I mess up my words too much, I start over. Sometimes things go great in one go and sometimes they just don’t. And that’s okay🙌🏻 I redo it as many times as I need to get it right for me🙂 When I first started creating videos, I would talk out loud in the house or when driving somewhere to rehearse….like learning lines in a play. Once you get comfortable hearing yourself, it gets easier. 💛💛💛

Love your crafting. I really enjoy your ideas. This idea it's just so beautiful. I'm gonna purchase the digitals and at some point make some of these. I was wondering where you get that seam binding? Love it. It's kind of a flat crinkle kind. Mostly they are really crinkly and I end up not using it cause it bugs me. LOL. Love it mind of its own:)
OhI hope you do create these too!!! The seam binding does have a mind of its own😂 It may have helped that I have it wrapped around the card spools but it’s still pretty wild!

@@rosehillpapercottage7179 I get mine there as well. Love that shop. Crinkle seam binding is the best from Scrap Cabin Shop. I will wrap the ones I have on some spools and try that then. Maybe it will calm it down a little. Thx for writing back:)

Thank you! I think it takes awhile to find your own style. We all learn from the beginning somewhere and so with that you are following along until you find your own groove. This community is fantastic for learning, growing, sharing, and support along the way. Eventually new ideas will come from building on what you have learned. Keep creating and you’ll find new ideas around the corner 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
i made my first one today. gave to my mom. it looked horrible compared to yours. she loved it thought. i put gorrilla tape the clear to hold everything in. she goes do i take the tape off. i said give it back i will make it better. she said you will not. hahaha

On the video at 2:42…. i’m really enjoying this :-) I do however have a question. What do you mean when you say you printed two to the page for making the tag? Did you change the orientation of the original image? I changed the orientation (photoshop) printed two to the page but they came out kind of small. No matter how I’m looking at it I just don’t see how or why you printed two to a page. But I do want to understand and know :-) p. s. I like your laugh 😂
I’m happy you enjoyed it! I printed two images to a page but only used one for the tag (which I folded in half) because the sized worked perfectly for my tag holder. I didn’t do anything special to the image just printed 2 to a page using the 5x7 size. I have a video on printing images in a video on how I do this as well. I hope that makes better sense🙂
Thanks for your response Heather. Very helpful. The key information is that you used the 5x7 size. Im not using a program that will print two to a page unless i specifically manipulate the image by resizing, duplicating and then turning it. So yes it makes sense now and i often wish my version of photoshop would keep things more simple and logical like that :) I love the results I ended up with after following your tutorial. Thanks again. But wait can I ask what program are you using for printing your images? I was just watching another of your tutorials and you were printing 4 to a page…. Or maybe its your printer …? Im using a Mac.
@@robinlaws5103 You’re welcome! I just use my computer’s program that pops up when I print. So nothing special and it gives me several options all the way to wallet size.

Good news! I found the built in application (it’s called Preview) on my Mac that can do the printing of multiples on one page just like you ;) Just wanted to share that😂 And I discovered you made a video that demonstrates this very thing of printing multiple images on a page. It was a helpful video!
