Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing this beautiful Christmas journal!
This journal was created with the theme to center around decorating for the holidays. I wanted it to be very textural with fabrics and papers that were considered as a color palette for everything in the home from wrapping paper to home decor.
The cover is decorated with beautiful authentic wallpaper and ledger on an old vintage book. A golden velvet upholstery fabric covers the spine. There are 3 hidden signatures bound with hemp cord using a 3 hole pamphlet stitch. There is a combination of beautiful digital pages along with authentic ledger, avocado dyed papers, handmade paper, authentic and handmade ephemera, glass glitter, and pretty trims, etc. Approximately 26 pages.

Oh my goodness, Heather! You did an absolutely amazing job with this journal! There are so many fun elements in this journal I dont even know where to begin!! The printing on fabric is genius!! Heather I ADORE this journal ❤❤❤ So pretty! I love that liner pattern on the inside of the vintage envelope! How cute are those miniature presents and the glass glitter reinforces! So much inspiration! I now need these kits from Lidia ❤️❤️

It would be hard for me too which is why I included so many old receipt pieces to use instead 😂

Brilliant! Two amazing flipthroughs in two days. What a treat! Thanks for the fabric printing info. My printer has conniptions if the paper is not 100% flat but I think I just have to give this a try regardless.

Oh wow, this is such a gorgeous journal! I love the fabric prints so much. Not sure if my Epson printer would do its job (?) I also love the wrap around tags, your authentic pieces and of course Lidia's printables.Thank you so much for sharing and have a wonderful Christmas! Hugs 💞🎄♥️

You never know until you try…I accept that my printer is almost 4 years old now so I often test its limits.😂 I know some printers are finicky however and this is about the same as lightweight cardstock but im not sure it would work for you since I’ve never had an Epson printer. 🎄🎄🎄
I have an Epson Ecotank and can print on fabric using this technique no problem. Heather is right though, do take the time to pay attention to those details. 😊

Thank you! I’ve heard that about the ironing but it didn’t work when I tried it. Maybe I wasn’t patient enough 😂 I may have to try it again but so far I haven’t had any issues with using glues on it at least. Merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄

PS...this is the 1st time I've seen wired ribbon used as a pocket...SCORE! I have tons...was looking at it today and lamenting the fact I didn't know WHAT I was going to do with it all. Woo Hoo!
Oh yes! Whip all that ribbon out and use it🙌🏻 You can also pull the wire out to remove bulk and it’s easier to do that once you cut it into a shorter length 🎄🎄🎄 Happy crafting ❤️

This is just gorgeous! As everyone else has said, thank you for all your tips and sharing your creativity. I do have a question, not sure if you’ve already answered this but, can you please share what dies you are you using for the trees and the deer?
Thank you so much! I got them off Amazon several years ago in a set so I don’t have a direct link anymore to the exact ones I purchased however if you search on Amazon for ‘deer metal dies’ and ‘tree metal dies’ you’ll find them or something similar. 🎄🦌❄
