Ruby & Pearl Design Team Project - My Garden Journal
Today I’m sharing my design team project for @Rubyandpearl.xo where I created a garden journal to capture all of the beauty coming alive in my own backyard. I used the Garden Journal Cards collection as my main theme and printed them in various sizes. I also used a few other digital kits and combined them along with authentic pieces to create this beauty. This is such a clever homemade garden album! I especially like your using cuttings/paper, and collectibles (pieces of left-over material and laces too!). We also sowed Bacopa in the pink variety this year, though I think I might prefer your white. for the heat of the summer☀

Oh Heather! Your garden is so pretty! So many gorgeous blooms! I. A tell how hard your husband has worked on it. I love the pressed flowers that you added to your fabulous journal. It makes my heart so happy. Such pretty papers. Do you have a flower press or do you put them in books? I made some flower presses. lol. I went a little berserk one year. I thought I would just grow a few pansies to press. lol. They spread and soon I had so many plants. lol. I wa s using big tiles with Velcro and making them with paint stirrers. lol. Now I have quite a few. Lately, just before it got hot here I bought some violas because the blooms are smaller and I want to use them with my sealing wax. That appears to be to be half dead, but I get a few flowers every day. Slowly, but surely, I’m filling up one press. I’m glad you are getting settled into your home. Hugs, treen 💕💕💕
Thank you! He has really worked so hard on the garden 💪🏻 It was so overgrown and needed some TLC so we could see everything hiding 😂 I actually don’t have a flower press but maybe I’ll make or buy one…I just leave them out to dry or press between book pages. 🤍🤍🤍
