I'm about to use jb weld extreme heat , same stuff just premixed, to fix small oil leak from chip in bottom crankcase on GSXR 750 , after seeing your video i'm sure it will work for me also, thanks for sharing mate.
i found a similar leak on my bike, i used jb stik weld jus now , waitin for it to dry. hope it holds . it leaks lesser oil than what yours puked but i just cleaned up around the area and applied the stick weld.
Patching up an oil leak on my Harley's engine case which has a hairline crack. Looks like it will hold. Do you have to sand the JB Weld before painting it?
@@azzkam8972 Used it on the cooler and so far so good, Only ran it once so far (not a ride though due to lockdown) but fingers crossed it holds. It sets stupid tough. Cheers for your video I'd have never thought of using it.
Azz Kam Mine is just leting water In to my cylinder at the piston smallest crack... Someone glued it before me and had it for a few weeks what one did you use what's it jb weld what... I seen the putty it was shit
macker b not sure of the specific name but the pictures the beginning of the video I got two tubes one with a grey paste and one with a black paste and you have to mix them both together.
I have a zx10r an it has a hairline crack between crank case and trans , leaks oil consistently but not aggressively . Going to attempt the jb weld . Have you been riding aggressively after the jb weld ? Because I’m a pretty aggressive rider I’m just thinking if this is going to be a permanent fix

it is now 2019, is the JB weld still holding?
Better yet would be to use an aluminum welding rod. You can use these rods with a butane torch to fix or patch aluminum.

Joey Gabagool iv not painted mine yet it does set really smooth and flat a coat of primer should do the job.
my air cooled bike is leaking along the crankcase gasket at the bottom, would JB weld hold?

I used crazy glue and baking soda on my cbr600 stator cover. Its still holding.

That part of the engine does not get extremely hot though.
You think this will hold up agaisnt coolant on my oil cooler? Few small holes from screwdriver removing the oil filter

Did it work my ktm I took the head of has a crack at the on top its leting water in do you tink it will work
macker b mine is still fully sealed not sure about your issue but if I were you I’d definitely give it a go! Once it hardens it is rock solid.

Hella Naughtyy pretty aggressive but mine was a small whole a crack is different because the can spread but Its still worth a try
