@@ReaperStrain006 im pretty sure the Jesko will beat this with the right driver.
@@ReaperStrain006 The Jesko (I leave out the Attack part cos it's the dumbest name in all of existence to call a car) is a track-focused hypercar. It was built for downforce and speedy corners. So I think that car does stand a chance with the right driver and the right conditions. The Jesko Absolut is the straight line demon. Also, apparently, a GT because of the suspension setup. I think the Jesko stands a chance because I think it will be a lot faster than the AMG ONE in terms of acceleration. I love both brands so I don't really care.
@@spill1t E tron translates to turd in other languages. A Jesko Attack is not really far of from what it is. Especially when Time Attack is a thing
Alter alter, das ist das erste mal dass ich Downforce sehen kann :-) Hammer Hammer HAMMER!!! AMG 4 ever...
This man is just casually rally launching a hypercar. What a legend
This really just makes me more impressed with the GT2RS MR
Nice one, sector 3 could've been better ( there was a huge lift up) I think one a good summer day it would go even faster, otherwise one of a drive, quite crazy how he sents it in sector 1,2 , actually the whole drive is crazy, before the last corner, that scary slide 😳
Just amazing 😎
#porshe now is you're turn 🏎
Fast cornering + incredible accelaration
Amazing driver/car, great lap! What category did he break the lap record? As far as I know the Porsche 919 Evo still has the record at 5:19.55.
Yeah that's what I'm wondering. I'm confused with the different speed records?
It broke the fastest production car record. The Porsche evo isn’t a production car as Porsche doesn’t manufacture them for sale to costumers.
Fastest lap by a street legal car
Wooow, congr. for the record, but I noticed that AMG One acelerating so so insane!!! 🎉🎉
I feel like he could’ve went a little faster through Kottenborn and Schwedenkreuz.
Habe ich auch gedacht! 😅👍
I think there is even more possible. There is a part where the road is moist and he is holding back. And he let the revs go low in some turns and excelerates without changing down. A more aggressive driving might even get another few tenth out of it.
The balance, speed and power of this great machine is so impressive!
Half of the time, recovering energy for electric motor for straight pass... Sound awfull.. Pathetic
It's the best Car ever ever ever ever. It's not only fast as hell it is so beautiful as well. 🤩❤️🔥
the Sound is soo amazing
How does this F1 engine sound better in this street car than it sounds in actual F1 cars tho😮
Longer, and substantially different exhaust system, a bulk of what you hear from a car is the manifold and exhaust system.
it doesn't,Outside it sounds muffled and way quieter than F1 cars.
For me personally, the most insane thing here still is the fact that the Porsche 919 hybrid evo managed to do this over a minute faster.
Imagine being that fast and then realising that Porsche built something that's over a minute faster. Absolutely incredible.
Btw I'm aware of the fact that the mercedes is streat legal (also, for me it sounds like a spaceship with that electric motor)
Porsche smashed the overall lap record at the Ring with a time of 5:19.55 minutes in a 919 Hybrid Evo
And you can read? It's about street legal cars.
@@YTDE426 street legal means nothing. I can buy a vehicle from a dealership today and put a 2000 hp engine in it and it still street legal so what
@@DurokSubaka There's a clear definition, what "street legal" means. Your example is not street legal.
There are many different categories, such as electric vehicles, hybrid cars, suv's...seems like you do not really know much about the Nordschleife timings :)
@@YTDE426 i’m quite aware of what production/street legal means my opinion is it doesn’t matter, they only made a couple hundred of those cars and they only make them so that they can legally say it’s a production vehicle that broke some record or did some event. The clasification is what is in question. Dont talk down to people of what you think they know or dont know it just shows your ignorance.
@@DurokSubaka funny how you talk about ignorance, but just plainly ignore the facts. :-)
The dude hit 203 MPH toward the end. What a car, what a driver!!!!!!!!
The lap record holder should be awarded the Sabine Medal in honour of the great lady. 💔

That's one of the most unusual sounding upshifts I've heard from a modern hypercar, still produced an amazing lap though. 👏
I've heard it slurs it's shifts (they're not fast) and uses electricity to fill the gap so you'd never notice.
@@thegirthquake8574 I noticed a significant difference in the sound alone, I think my ass is tuned in enough to my ears to feel that strange change 😉🤣
Minha nossa, esse carro é um míssel! Parabéns! 🇧🇷
*_Deutsche Qualität_* 👌
209 mph was his top speed. Impressive.
It is impressive but it may seems low for a 1000+ hp car. Same for the gt2 RS on its record lap it got a top speed of 308 km/h while on the autobahn they managed to push it to 330+ no problems. Do they put more agressive aerodynamics? is the long straight uphill?
this car isn't made for top speed 😒
@@alexsvilla7962 But it still doesn't explain why does the same car have a lower top speed on the long straight of the Nurburgring
INSANE driving, hats-off to Mercedes-AMG for this car and the run, I hope others will challange this time.
I wonder how fast an actual F1 car will go around this track
This must be tested
BMW Sauber's simulations after their demonstration run there in 2007 yielded a time of 5:15, using the 2006 F1 car.
In GT5 pro players are also around 5min mark for a Nordschliefe lap.
The last real F1 race on the nurb had a best time of 6.58min with Lauda (1975 or 76), but the track changed a bit and the F1 cars are completely differents now.
@@lordofkiwi5144 I'd probably guess Mercedes's W11 can run mid 4:30s
@@HakarDoskithe W11 is only very slightly faster than the 919 evo around Spa. I don’t know if that will suddenly translate to 50 seconds faster here given the 919’s straight line performance will shine more.
@@SupchargedSpa is a very power demanding circuit,The unrestricted 919 evo takes advantage of that,it goes faster on the straights but the w11 absolutely demolishes it on corners, and with the nurburgring having pretty much all types of bends and corners out there either low speed, medium or high and just 2 very long straights it is not a question the w11 would beat the record by over 30 seconds maybe even more, but would have to use harder tyres rather than optimal faster softer ones because it will degrade before it even finishes the lap, unless they develop a new tyre that can survive the whole lap without sacrificing grip.
Sheeeesh,what a driver and what a car😮😮Just wow
Only 7 seconds faster than a GT2 MR???
True, over 300hp more should be more than 7 seconds, also why are they going for the record in fall?
@@avatar94100 Cold air - > more power babyy
2.750.000€+Tax.....these are very expensive 7 seconds 😄
I was expecting so much more.
You don’t understand these second are years in automotive industry.
"Only 7 seconds" lol.
Lols at the incredibly fast and accurate traction control
